I live near the haven. You can hear the chimps loud noises in the night sometimes. Very beautiful place for these wonderful animals. I never about any accidents or mishaps. How clever they are, opening and closing the windows and doors on the Little Tykes kitchen but I'm wondering if the chimp that walked off with 2 jars of peanutbutter will know how to unscrew the lid. Loved this video. Keep 'em coming

I don’t know if you’re doing it yet, but you should buy a big huge movie screen and like once a week have movie night since so many of them like to watch television
It's called "enrichment". These are very intelligent animals and the more they have to do the better. They have a nice place to live but it's never going to be the same as having been free their entire lives. Just relax. These chimps will never be able to be totally free and on their own. So giving them things to do is good for them. It sure as heck isn't hurting them.
