My uncle (God rest his soul) served in the Korean war. He was a kind but strong man. He was my father figure growing up. I had mad respect for him, and still do. She's privileged and spoiled. She has the luxury of not having to worry about living in a war time era, nor having to partake in it. There are people that exist in our world, that don't respect or appreciate something that they never had to work hard for, or fight for. She is one of these people.

Personally I’m ok with women not being involved as everything militarily would likely operate better, especially actual war and battle. It was a joy to meet Soviet soldiers that fought in Afghanistan. They were older then us and when they greeted us they gave us bread and salt with a big hug and kiss on the cheek and they said to us we feel your pain and don't sleep well either, my response was thank you big brothers , I'm in tears writing this to you. We didn't fight for freedom of speech and my Soviet brother soldiers were not fighting for the party , we both were fighting to stay alive and the members of our unit. I’m actually in okinawa right now, I’m navy but I’m out here on a marine base, everyday these guys are out here away from family 2-3 years at a time, a lot of them struggle with home sickness and so on, sadly depression and suicide is a thing out here and the struggle is real, happy to know people do care what these guys do out here!!
This chick was out of line, but it's been decades since the US was in a military conflict that actually protected our freedoms. My brother is a disabled Iraq war vet and he'd be the first to tell you that he didn't protect any American freedoms over there. Common courtesy says you don't bad mouth people who acted with good intentions, but you also shouldn't offer them more credit than they are due.
To be fair yes we do. War isn’t really “kill off the enemy” it’s more so “prevent power” but holding land and resources and keeping a strong economy we. Protect the power we have to be free. Other countries kinda live off the graces of others. If China were to have all the power, resources, etc that we have then they have more influence, more reach, more control, etc. so yes even after all the dirty underhanded things the military does, it’s for freedom.

As someone who’s currently serving in the Army and have been for over 10 years, I don’t believe people understand we all aren’t receiving the same privileges as a result of military service. I’m a high school & college graduate with a career in the Army and on the civilian side but I still encounter discriminatory actions from both the community I live in and the Army I serve in. I’ve been arrested & harassed by police WHILE IN UNIFORM. I’ve been treated like crap based on the color of my skin in the military by higher ranking officials. The military has helped in my abilities to own a home since I was 24 and has landed me good jobs and has helped me get out of bogus stops with police, but it seems as though I have to prove I’m “one of the good ones.” The freedom that we fight for is better than the freedoms other countries have, but it’s not the Utopia that we portray it to be. One of my best friends is ARAB and serves in the Army. He gets “randomly” selected more than anyone I know and has a freaking military ID and a pilots license.
That's a common problem in the federal government, period. They treat you like crap, you eat crow when disrespected, but must respect their hierarchy and prove that you are not "rift raft." You then prove you are All American as in one of them. Once you are "in" you coach other minorities into accepting that horrible shit.

A lot of women think that America is a “liked” country outside of America. WE ARE NOT… Other countries at the first opportunity would seek to destroy us. They don’t understand that. I’m an Air Force veteran and I wasn’t surprised at all.. We’ve done such a great job that most Americans are oblivious to what real sacrifice is. Love my armed forces brothers & sisters.

@@Armed-Forever if you're American the politicians sent me that were elected, the military doesn't send it self but the civilian government does . If you served you know this , the Iraqi Army invaded Kuwait and did you ser with your own eyes what they did to their civilian population. Civilian doesn't understand that war is brutal and we do brutal things, it's alot different watching it on TV and being nice and safe while someone else does the fighting. I have respect for the Iraqi army they fought hard , some of the unit's. Others wanted no part and shot their own officer's so they could surrender. Who did you serve with?

Agreeing with you but we still have selective service in place which would allow a draft in a future war possibly. To my knowledge it only applies to men.
@@ezekielmohammed4193 correct - and for the longest time women weren’t able to vote and complained about it. And the reason they couldn’t vote was because the right to vote comes with the obligation of being drafted. They didn’t want that part.
@@stevend_87 as a society that’s trying to become more equal for every human being, it would be logical to have women involved in a draft if there ever is one. Personally I’m ok with women not being involved as everything militarily would likely operate better, especially actual war and battle. But these women that complain about all this equality and things not being fair should actually be thrust into most men’s positions and they’ll crumble. I’d hope that day doesn’t come but it would be bittersweet to see some snobby women get true equality.
People have come back with lost friends, broken relationships and metal health, long term deadly health conditions or not even come back at all for everything we take for granted today. Thank you for taking it seriously.

I think this is due to people not understand how war works. It’s not kill the enemy, it’s about overall power, resources and influence. So just because we’re not fighting an actual enemy that is threatening us doesn’t mean our freedoms aren’t on the line

i mean absolutely no disrespect to soldiers or the military. America has some of the finest and most passionate soldiers of the world (i say this as a Russian). My honest question is, technically how did the soldiers fight and die for the people's freedom of speech? Apart from WW2 when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, which other war was the USA actually defending it's freedom? I am not speaking about America going to Vietnam to "liberate" the people from communism, or the downfall of Saddam in Iraq. What specific wars have been fought to specifically DEFEND the rights of American citizens to have freedom of speech? I seek knowledge on this topic as I am not educated, i do not mean disrespect to military or former soldiers at all. The personal sacrifices they made are nothing to make fun of or disregard.
It was a joy to meet Soviet soldiers that fought in Afghanistan. They were older then us and when they greeted us they gave us bread and salt with a big hug and kiss on the cheek and they said to us we feel your pain and don't sleep well either, my response was thank you big brothers , I'm in tears writing this to you. We didn't fight for freedom of speech and my Soviet brother soldiers were not fighting for the party , we both were fighting to stay alive and the members of our unit. Politicians and the whore in this video could care less long as they don't have to fight them selfs

I’m actually in okinawa right now, I’m navy but I’m out here on a marine base, everyday these guys are out here away from family 2-3 years at a time, a lot of them struggle with home sickness and so on, sadly depression and suicide is a thing out here and the struggle is real, happy to know people do care what these guys do out here!!
This chick was out of line, but it's been decades since the US was in a military conflict that actually protected our freedoms. My brother is a disabled Iraq war vet and he'd be the first to tell you that he didn't protect any American freedoms over there.
Common courtesy says you don't bad mouth people who acted with good intentions, but you also shouldn't offer them more credit than they are due.
To be fair yes we do. War isn’t really “kill off the enemy” it’s more so “prevent power” but holding land and resources and keeping a strong economy we. Protect the power we have to be free. Other countries kinda live off the graces of others. If China were to have all the power, resources, etc that we have then they have more influence, more reach, more control, etc. so yes even after all the dirty underhanded things the military does, it’s for freedom.

As someone who’s currently serving in the Army and have been for over 10 years, I don’t believe people understand we all aren’t receiving the same privileges as a result of military service. I’m a high school & college graduate with a career in the Army and on the civilian side but I still encounter discriminatory actions from both the community I live in and the Army I serve in. I’ve been arrested & harassed by police WHILE IN UNIFORM. I’ve been treated like crap based on the color of my skin in the military by higher ranking officials. The military has helped in my abilities to own a home since I was 24 and has landed me good jobs and has helped me get out of bogus stops with police, but it seems as though I have to prove I’m “one of the good ones.” The freedom that we fight for is better than the freedoms other countries have, but it’s not the Utopia that we portray it to be. One of my best friends is ARAB and serves in the Army. He gets “randomly” selected more than anyone I know and has a freaking military ID and a pilots license.
That's a common problem in the federal government, period. They treat you like crap, you eat crow when disrespected, but must respect their hierarchy and prove that you are not "rift raft." You then prove you are All American as in one of them. Once you are "in" you coach other minorities into accepting that horrible shit.
