Thanks for the insight Dan. Hope olu ends up starting and they just wanted to look at Harris today but the D news is so exciting. Can’t wait until the season starts. Forever and always, Go Hawks
John Schneider did not have control of the Seahawks. Pete had total control. Pete reported to John who reported to Jodi. Yes they would act on a lot of moves but it was still Pete actually had the final say
Not sure what this is in reference to but it's nothing we didn't already know. Pete had final say on all roster decisions but almost completely deferred to John for scouting and the draft.
I think because he was able to move the ball better than Sam most fans simply equate that to good QB play. Howell was under a much heavier and constant pass rush. I took that into account. I based my opinion on his throwing session, the 1 on 1’s, and his throw to Bobo which I felt was the best of the day. Wish we could have seen Geno vs. the ones but I think that was valuable experience for Sam.
Reports came out they are still in talks. Nothing soon; seems like its either we don't have the cap available or sticker shock is the biggest hurdle currently.
If a team started at the 30 ever drive, it's a win. Why kick it so they can return it? Sure, you can open them deeper, but you will probably give up more than the 30. If the NFL wanted return, make a touch back the 50. No team is kicking into the endzone. Not kick it in stop the return so what it's the 30. You can kick it a mile high it doesn't matter you can't move until it's touched or hits landing zone. I believe the rule is. Squib it on the ground I doesn't matter.
Or was it the offense was terrible. It can go either way. It's bad either way. If the offense runs over the defense that's horrible. If the defense runs over the offense that's horrible. I want to see what each does against other teams. Then we'll see if the defense is actually good and not just pushing around maybe a bad offense. The Offense should be bad because they shouldn't be showing you anything in a scrimmage or even a preseason game.
Montana Seahawk here just finalized 2 tickets for dolphins game section 135 Row B , looking forward to see our secondary against that passing attack

What part of Montana? I’m in Billings!
Ya what part of Montana? My Mom lives on Flathead Lake, my Sister lives in Avon.
Great content. Thanks for sacrificing your Saturday to bring us the info!
Damn the channel is blowing up! 👍👍👍
Hands down important signing at the last. Great turnaround from the weak years in the oline.
Howell INT rate is the same a Joah Allen. Had Allen thrown it as much and Howell Allen would have tied for the NFL lead in INTS.
So you’re saying that Howell is as good as Joah Allen, yet Geno looks better than him??
Josh allen is a plus athlete with a throwback qb size. Kenny Pickett also had a 1:1 td/int ratio and then got cut for not being good.

On punt return, Hawks used Bobby Ingram, Tyler Lockett,Nate Burleson, no worry here with starting receiver playing punt returner.
So what I gather from other people at practice, this had to be Sam’s best day since he he been here. You the only person I heard saying Sam over PJ.

That’s crazy mad people said Sam looked bad
Any Connor Williams Update? Really Hoping We Can Make It Happen And Get Him!

@Chronos10099 probably have to work in playing time guarantees as well. He was great can he even go week 4? Week 6? Later?
@@Chronos10099I think the biggest hurdle/wait is on when he can actually get on the field….
Signed.
I think there's some new rule so teams can carry the third QB
You can designate a 3rd "emergency" QB on game day but it's not a protected roster spot during the week. Teams could still "poach" players off PS.

Dan, what was the name of the center on the Seahawks roster that had a similar athletic score to Conor Williams?
That was Sundell, the kid I thought looked really good Saturday. And today, they waived Mike Novitski so Sundell is the 3rd C at this point.
@@SeahawksForeverDanViens Thank you.

So is onsides kicks no longer a thing?!
You can still try them, but you have to declare them in advance. The surprise onside kick is dead as a doorknob.
@cadkoger thanks needed the clarification, much appreciated
But was Sundale playing against the #1's?
No. He was playing vs. 2's and 3's.
@@SeahawksForeverDanViens That's what I was suspecting. So, we can't quite make a comparison yet.

Go Hawks!
Ok so the best center is another bobo lol ? Why not
