      Thank you for checking it out. I appreciate it. Really not a fun video to make from the standpoint of the Ravens losing MacDonald, but it has to be exciting for the Seahawks fanbase. And organization. I might do a follow up soon.

    I’m so excited for this hire and this year
    The main problem for the Seahawks for 5+ years is the lack of creativity
    - They run the same coverage and plays over and over again
    - They didn’t set up their players for success
    - They didn’t disguise what they do on the backend
    - They rarely blitz and when they do it’s vanilla
    Mike is an elevates all talent. I can’t wait to see what he does with Nwosu and Boye while having an elite corner group. Can’t wait to see how he builds the trenches and what FA he signs. And most importantly the draft

      yes, exactly same cover 3 soft zones give up the short stuff. Never made it hard for the qb at all what he saw pre snap was what he was getting post snap. Spoon was so impactful as a blitzer last year from the slot and they barley utilized it.

      It's unfortunate that it became the way it became. But now that the season is over and Pete has been let go, I see the silver lining. Hiring Coach Macdonald can and should completely remake the Seahawks back into one of the most physical and elite teams in the NFL. It was hard to see Pete go for all he accomplished in his 14 years in Seattle. But it was time to move another direction and I am so freaking proud of John Schneider for identifying Mike and not rushing to get a hire and instead patiently waited. I believe John and Mike are going to make a potent combo for many years to come, and get us back to playing for championships. I am so freaking jacked for the future in Seattle. Now I'm eagerly searching all forms of Seattle sports news to see who Mike ends up hiring as his OC. Our offense is so stinking stacked with talent and if he finds the right dude this team is going to be one of the scariest and hardest teams to prepare for. LFG!!!! Go Hawks 💙💚

      When Pete only hired he's own guys/minions nothing changed.. he truly wasted years off of guys careers with that BS vanilla scheme. He should've been gone 4 years ago.

Which current Seahawks defenders do you think will thrive under MacDonald? You mentioned Mafe and Nwosu. I'd agree and also think that Riq woolen, Witherspoon , and Julian love could thrive. And Leonard Williams (who hopefully re-signs). Thank you again! You rock

    I've been saying all year that this defense - just going off of talent - is a top 5 unit in the league but performs like a bottom 5 one.
    We have maybe the best man-corner duo in the league and didnt use it. Most ppl probably dont know that Spoon came out as the highest graded corner by PFF ever, playing 600 snaps on the outside as a true island corner while only playing 100 snaps in the slot where Pete had him 90% of the time. Mafe has potential to be a star, we added Big Cat, Dre'mont Jones is better than he looked, Jordyn Brooks has broken Bobby's solo tackle record and so on. I think we have potential to be one of the best defenses in the league next season already

    • @all_22_films
      @all_22_films  11 місяців тому +4

      I was also very confused by how poorly the Defense played as a whole at times in, 2023. Especially with how much individual talent they have on the field. I think by Wk 10 you will see a very in tune Defense, one that is multiple and works together unselfishly. That is the thing I noticed about the Ravens Defense, how unselfish they are.

    Supposedly this was what seattle was going to do last year, run disguised D coverages, however they only seemed disguised to the Seahawks players, not the opposing teams. Looking forward to a guy who can actually run this kind of defense as opposed to just confusing our own D and hopefully get the Hawks players to actually make good tackles as opposed to bad angles and missed tackles. Your coverage and film play of MM is great and much appreciated!!

    Man, it's a bittersweet moment in Hawks history. I remember the day when they announced Pete as the coach. I was so excited. Mora was a wannabe coach and we sucked big time. Pete and John tore that team apart the first year and made them into contenders every season after that. 14 years of great Seahawks ball. Hope the new coach can follow that up. He's got the talent and he has the assistants to do the same thing. Go Hawks!!!!
