Here to recommend BIGBANG’s MV for Haru Haru, which is a totally different style and was released in 2008 so would have been watched by the BTS boys as kids 🙂 I feel like the muted colours and compressed K drama storyline is something that you do see in early BTS videos so the influence is a bit more obvious!

He's the heart of the group, does almost all of the writing and producing, and has some phenomenal solo tracks. Those two were the core members, and were supposed to debut as a duo, but their company, YG Entertainment, decided to add the other three members to make a full group. They were considered the Kings of Kpop in their day, and their fandom, VIP, fought hard against BTS in their early years because it was becoming evident that BTS was a true force to be reckoned with. When BigBang's members went into the military, it was sadly the beginning of the end for their group as it was.
Fantastic Baby was such a visual treat back in 2012, and the song's upbeat tune made it go viral worldwide. Fandoms' that stream videos to get millions of views weren't a thing back in the day, so the numbers back then were organic. It was such a hype song. It would play in parties, bars, clubs, stores, etc. el But despite its visually stunning scenes, this MV represents BIGBANG's rebellion against conservative society and a big shoutout to all the V.I.Ps that defended them and stayed with them through thick and thin. As for their comeback, when it comes to BIGBANG, you'll never know what type of song they will release.
Big Bang is different from other groups. They are not a dance group but they are among the firsts to release dance practice videos. In fact, they started so many things that have become common practice in K-pop now. I guess they don't include dance in their MVs because they want to show some content other than dance. Amazing Just a little info, Big Bang went into the military ( Like BTS) back in 201/2018 time period. They got out before COVID I believe. VIP's might can shed a better light. ( VIP Big Bang Fandom). G Dragon is a genius writes most if not all Big Bang songs. He/ they did a lot of first like the light sticks you see groups now use. Two members were involved with a two different scandals. One of which was TOP ( Thanos) and so currently the group consist of G Dragon ( Leader) Taeyang and Daesung. I said that to say, that is one reason why when BTS took a break for military requirements it was hard on ARMY. Can you imagine if we had to wait 7 years for a comeback and when BTS went ,in there was no news of Big Bang till just a few months ago. TOP was given a 10 month jail sentence which was suspended for 2 years. He completed his military service doing public service work. He was never suspended for two years from his military service.

I got to know Big Bang thanks to my baby sister when she was 2 or 3yo 😅 she would be singing the lyrics (sooo dang cute😂😂) and bopping and hooping in front of the computer 😂😂 she's the one who introduced me to k-pop because of her cuteness. Yes, be sure to the complete live show ( G Dragon and Big Bang ) of MAMA 2024 a total of 5 songs. You also should watch G Dragon mv of POWER. Maybe before the live. He talks fills in some gaps to their 7 year hiatus. MAMA the full performance of Big Bang ( G Dragon, two solos then three with the group starting with Home Sweet Home). Amazing
Just a little info, Big Bang went into the military ( Like BTS) back in 201/2018 time period. They got out before COVID I believe. VIP's might can shed a better light. ( VIP Big Bang Fandom). G Dragon is a genius writes most if not all Big Bang songs. He/ they did a lot of first like the light sticks you see groups now use. Two members were involved with a two different scandals. One of which was TOP ( Thanos) and so currently the group consist of G Dragon ( Leader) Taeyang and Daesung.
I said that to say, that is one reason why when BTS took a break for military requirements it was hard on ARMY. Can you imagine if we had to wait 7 years for a comeback and when BTS went ,in there was no news of Big Bang till just a few months ago. So it is a BIG deal when groups have to stop for military requirements. My understanding is TOP trouble while serving, but not 100 % on that. So either way you never know when something is going to happen. Plus, did you see how what happened over Suga thing and anti's calling for him to leave.

Nesto, like you, I started my journey into Kpop with BTS, and although I found some great groups like BigBang, 2NE1, EXO, Seventeen, and one of my favorites, Monsta X, afterwards, I always found my way home back to our Bangtan Boys, because, let's face it, they are unique, and the Best of the Best. 💜

I used to like Big Bang until the members were in a lot of controversies. Specially Suengri. I still like their music but i don't like the issues they were involved in.
I agree what he did was awful. He paid his dues, didn't he? Going to jail the scandal. I get the feeling there's is a double standard for kpop idols and regular people. If someone goes to jail and gets reformed, he gets the chance to change his or her life. Some even become great preachers. Idols don't get that chance is as if they are still in jail. I'm not saying comeback to the group, but let him go down his way. Hating the group for what one person did is strange. Koreans are brutal with famous people, they destroy them even for a divorce, to the point that they make them lose their lives. We have to learn to divide their personal life from their professional life. If they were serial killers, yes. I thought the rest of the world was different.
