I'm a Jays Fan from Canada. I was outraged when they got rid of Biggio. Now I'm happy a hell the best team in Baseball has picked him up. The Dodgers will be very happy with him. He is awesome!
I agree!! Everytime I would see Biggio play I often wonder how come they wouldn’t play him more?? He is a very sound player and maybe the Dodgers can improve his bat more!!💯💙

Hey Kevin, Dodger fan now in Canada watching the Jays daily this year. Seems like the organization is doing really well at outraging fans. Honestly, not sure they ever figured out what to do with Biggio even as the "plan" was to rely on pitching and defense this year. So why drop a utility fielder? Yeah I'm confused. Cheers from PEI.

I don’t get the hesitancy with DFA’ing Taylor. That money is being burned regardless. I’d argue at this point he’s more useful off the team than on it. Only one being negatively impacted is the Dodgers. Taylor still getting that bag regardless while dodgers pay for player who has no value whatsoever

Might be nothing but, as you said, between lightning a fire and the potential (low risk high reward) it's already a good move. If Biggio can bring near of what CT3 did in his first 4-5 years then it's a great move. On the low, at least Cavan is a better choice from the bench. It only remains to be seen if they will address the other needs at the deadline
easy math.. Vargas is not getting playing time, and he will get some at Triple A and potential value for a potential trade before the trade deadline
Or give Vargas playing time and not Chris Taylor
@@laartwork Would rather big back up Outman. He is also tearing up Triple-A, so an offensive push compared to Vargas. However, Outman is without question a far better defensive outfielder than Vargas.

Lux and Outman or Vargas along with Knack and Grove/Ryan/Hurt for Bo or Arenado. Or take out knack/hurt, for O'Neil.
@@JackAPowers I have no problem bringing Outman back but he's got to start doing something with pitchers jamming him inside. He hits it foul or they get him out. He has to change that big time.
I'm from Toronto. He'll do well. The Jays have the worst hitting coaches and Manager in baseball. Watch him excel in LA.
Bad news for CT3, Kiké is a defensive wizard and a playoff monster. His job is secure

I'd take a bag of Funyuns over CT3 at this point. Love the guy, but Funyuns goes good with my Mickeys.
I am sorry to see Cavan go, as I don't think he was given a real chance before. They shuffled him around to most every position and he was expected to perform like Bo. The management at the Blue Jays are idiots. Teoscar, Lourdes and Gabriel traded for Varsho and a Now Triple A reliever. Compare the hitting stats for those 3 who left vs. Varsho. Atkins and Shappiro should be run out from town on a rail along with the BJ hitting coach. Hope someone gives Cavan some support and instruction to me a fine addition to the Dodgers. Ask Teoscar if he would like to be traded back to the BJ's. hahahaha NOT A CHANCE !!!!
In an alternate universe, Dodgers have Yordan Alvarez in LF, Cody Bellinger in CF, and Teoscar Hernandez in RF, Will Smith C, Max Muncy 3B, Seager SS, Betts 2B, Freeman 1B, and Ohtani as DH ---

Replacing a weak right hand hitter with a weak left handed hitter. Dodgers are in first in the west by 7.5 in June. Simply a GM showing he is worthy of his own check,
Dodgers don't really need a big bat, they need to be solid defensively and Biggio fits the bill. If they can get him to hit all the better, but they need to be shut down good defensively first because they have enough bats. Kiké is a fan favorite, so that's the downside.
Clint- Would rather give a chance at 3B to Andre Lipcius who is #2 in MiLB hitting according to World Baseball Rating. But it is a start.

Rojas should be at Short or 2nd base but needs to play everyday , no thought on Kevin personally send Taylor to another team get out of contract to free up money

Kind of off the subject, but why did they bring up Miguel Vargas if they were not going to play him only for a couple of at-bats? I think you’re right when you say maybe they’re trying to light a fire under a couple guys’ asses. CT3 is a waste case and Kike is barely above the Mendoza line. I wonder what Andrew Friedman’s next move is??⚾️⚾️🍀

Why do they pick up all these reclamation projects instead of bringing up their top AAA players. There always second choice.
Because they're only prospects until they're not. And if they get brought up and underperform, potential trade value goes out the window.
