About Chordosis:
While UAP/UFO sightings in Hungary have been scarce, with only a few reported cases, an overwhelming majority of approximately 90% of these sightings have been concentrated in a specific remote rural area.
As a Hungarian, I've always found it intriguing how little is known about this region of my country. With only a few small villages scattered throughout, it remains relatively unknown.
Their stories served as my primary inspiration during the development of this game.
Dive into Cosmic Horror:
CHORDOSIS invites you to experience a unique cosmic survival sci-fi horror game centered around alien abductions. Immerse yourself in the small village of Dunahont, Hungary, and uncover its chilling mysteries.

The fact that This game and Mortuary assistant was made by one developer screams dedication to horror.
I was thinking on Mortuary Assistant too, both are indie horror games that are way better and more well done that the average.
1 person doing a whole game alone is very rare to see or hear of.
and then they bring out such amazing game quality, this makes it more amazing as just vretaing it alone. doing both, i think is possible just by real Game lovers
@@Slycoon89The vibes are there too!!
You'd be suprised, I was...
No, it's pretty common, it's just that games with a lot of functionality, story, or art take a lot of effort to make for one person. Which are the games that you usually hear about. For, say, a puzzle game with simple graphics, that could very well be made by one person.
@@nikkiofthevalleyObviously but high quality games delivered by one person is extremely hard to see
I've always loved how IGP would adjust his voice audio so its like hes immersed fully into the game. He is the one speaking through the caves or even bubbling under water lol.
This was the first video I believe I've seen by this guy and I purposefully came to the comments to see if I was hearing it right or if the game was just that good (or I was nuts?) or both?! Anyway, thanks for answering this for me - lol. For the first video I've seen? Super impressed & subscribed!
p.s.
I agree having just your fingers outside your door like that is super weird and I also had the intrusive thought to just kick the door in to smash dudes fingers. I think we'll get along just fine - new friend! :)
1st video of IGP i've seen but definitely got a like and subscribe specifically because of the underwater voice
It's such a fun thing. A small but effective immersion technique. 🤟
One of my favorite parts of IGP's videos.
Yall should watch Neebs Gaming then if you like that. They've been doing that for years lol.
lol SAME HERE

This is hella impressive for one developer. Also that LotR on the piano was hella impressive as well.
The LotR music on the piano brought a tear to my eye. Beautiful rendition.
I KNEW I heard that melody somewhere before.
Not sure if I’m more impressed by this game or the fact that IGP can play the piano 29:29
Right!? He just immediately started playing the piano and I was like, "Wow!"
Wasn’t he also playing the LOTR theme?
Ain't it?
And knows his octaves.... 👀💪👍
@@OctoSquid503yes he was
Really love how these alien/sci fi games have been turning out. 1 developer is insane
I love seeing good games coming from indie developers in a time when we only get 1-2 AAA games a year that are worth the money. This game is evidence that you don't need massive studios, or millions/billions of dollars to burn to make a good experience that people want to play.
Its partly the old saying *too many cooks in the kitchen*
5 levels of authorization just to make any change or try to fix any problem. Many people treating it only as a job. Having near to no passion for the entire project. Whole sectors devoted on building a game around monetization. Other sectors cutting out the "risky" content made by the people that love what they are trying to make, just to avoid any potential outcry. Stuff that would give the game soul & make it unique. Always trying to market titles to everyone regardless of the genre. By doing so its not really special or memorable for anyone. All the money helping create the game are from scum bag backers that just want big returns ASAP so they give you insane publishing deadlines. producing broken and hallow games on launch. &&&& SO MUCH MORE.
Flagship games are dead for the most part now. A true husk of what they used to be. That's how all the game companies/industry is now. Husks, dead bodies being puppeteered by big wigs & corporate outfits. The original creators of old classics we loved & companies we cared about. The ones with all the vision & passion have been bought out, or they left because they hated what happened to everything, or they got let go for "causing issues"
Unreal 5 is the easiest & most accessible time in history to get into game dev. There will be a big shift to amazing big indie games & its beginning to start already. Sadly it will be a yoyo effect. A lot of these devs that publish well received projects will get scooped up by big companies to make another game they want developed, not another game from the dev themselves. It can ruin their career & kill their studio/brand over. Its already happened countless times. I just hope indie dev teams hold back from contracts & instant giant bags of cash. If they look down the road they will make all that & more, it will just take time.
Solo creators & teams of 15 or less will always make the best content regardless of available capital, as long as they give themselves time & continue to love what they make.@@phsycotater3608
29:40 You playing 'Sound of The Shire' on the piano was so unexpected and I loved every second of it. I never knew you could play the piano that's honestly really cool. LOTR number 1 trilly!
Yeah, man, that was awesome 🤩🤯!
I truly loved watching this ,I got so into it I yelled at you for going into a tunnel . I got scared and jumped twice.I felt like I got a night out even though I'm stuck sick in bed . I really enjoy these longer videos.
Thanks so much for the tip! I very much appreciate it!
@@IGPquestion do you get the $5 or lower because of YT saying oh we have a 20% tax so you only get something like $4.50??
I've always wondered
@@kendog3419 youtube needs to generate revenue, which means they likely retain a portion of it :)
@@waffel6378 what do you mean revenue they basically steal youtubers money enough to have to make patron accounts just to earn a living bearly
@@kendog3419 yeah I totally get where you're coming from, but it's still called revenue. Thats just the word I used.
You know it’s a good video when it hits the 1 hour mark
**video is only **59:59** second long**
**Sad Latimeriasdream noises**
fushi tf you on about its an hour and five minutes
Just finished the video, can confirm
This isn't a game, it's a masterpiece
Dude, the full-body chills I got at the 53:35 mark and onward. That sound design is absolutely exquisite - the whole soundscape was incredible throughout but that really takes the cake.
Nobody takes my cake
It is like a full immersion movie. You get so wrapped into the story. The visuals, sounds, music and gameplay, are so fluid and beautiful. Cinematic piece of art.
Literally blown away when you started playing LOTR on piano!
I used to watch my older brother play horror games because I was too scared. Now I’m in my 30s watching them in bed because I’m still too scared.
Great work ❤
IGP playing LOTR soundtrack on the piano amazed me, well done
This game genuinely had me freaked out. The fact that one person made this is incredible. Second episode will be exciting!
This game is utterly little master piece on its own. It is an art by this one person! Well bloody done!
I love these higher fidelity horror games, something that feels alive and unnerving
I’m glad alien horror is starting to become more relevant.
I really hope Deklazon is close to finishing _They Are Here,_ which IGP played both the initial demo and then the prologue as well
Really top tier audio editing. Love every solo game you do. The extra work you put in is super appriciated.
Thanks for saying!
Damn, those longer videos you've been posting lately have been a blast. Good to see yet another one. Great stuff man
At 9:30 it says on the door :
“Look for extreme offers at the cash register”
And on the right side:
“Open every day”
Bro iGP is the best horror game creator with the edits of his voice to the commentary it’s all 10/10
WOW. The music and the audio were FANTASTIC. When a game has good audio it makes it so much more immersive and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Not to mention the graphics are absolutely amazing, and there's so much attention to detail. I'm blown away by how good this game looks. Thanks for another great video IGP!
I was sold at the first sight of the game, absolutely gorgeous.
Your cosmic horror videos have become a recent favorite of mine!
There needs to be a full play through, because I would watch it all! This is an absolute treat! The ambience is soo spot on
Oh I am 100% buying the founders and then some. This amount of love that went into this, the AAA title level sound design, the suspense, the everything about this.. Adam really has something special here, and to be doing it solo is an amazing achievement on its own.
Not gonna lie this game looks like if Darkwood was in first person
damn, you're so right!
IGP + cosmic horror on a Friday? Hell yeah baby.
I'm STILL blown away about how only one person made such a visually beautiful game!
BRUH.. You can see what ONE person with a massive amount of passion is capable of.. some of the billion dollar AAA studios can be put into shame by this guy.
Okay, i barely started watching this and i have to comment already. I usually dont, im a silent follower of yours IGP. This game is made by one of us? (Im Hungarian too) Dude if i know about this place sooner, me and me guys would've visited it already! Thanks a lot! I have my weekend plan now. Now back to the vid.
Uhm, at the 9:30 time stop it says: on the right - "Open every day", to the left (its weird though) - "You can ask for the extreme prices at the checkout"
At the 37:45 time stop, it says: "Is the 7th commandment bogus?"
And i finished watching this. Damn, very detailed just like IGP said. Im proud of this guy. I am also eagerly waiting for the next video about this game. Have fun IGP.
Playing Shadow of Mordor, while watching you playing a Cosmic horror game, while listening to you playing the Shire theme... Man what a good vid timing 😁
Thank you for your hard work, this one was a real fun to watch o7
Ooh, an alien cosmic horror game? And it’s going to have multiple episodes? I love this sub genre, because it introduces a bit of science to the horror. It’s pretty damn impressive that the developer made the whole game by themselves too.
IGP taking the time to play the piano like a damn master while there's aliens outside
I don't know why but this reminds me of that one game where the main character has to go through a shit ton of horror to retrieve a black box combined with a bit of the House on the Hill vibes. I may be wrong
A few translations because yeah (also I am pretty sure Dunahont is suppossed to be pronounced as Doo-na-hont) 0:00 Duna in Dunahont means Danube 9:30 Big text - Open every day; smaller text - Extreme 13:15 Say goodbye to backpain - Let's live a full life again! 37:40 The 7th commandment is cap? (as in fake) That's it. I couldn't see what the other boards on the road said :(
"You can inquire about our extreme prices at the register" is the small text at 9:30
@@livingdeadronnie aww, thank you!! I couldnt really see what it said!
i'm 9 minutes in and there's three things i love already: indie dev making great work, sci-fi, being able to know more about a place i didn't before in a different way than just reading about it (and games are really good at that)
This reminds me so much of "The Shadow Over Innsmouth."
I always imagined that town to look exactly like this, with the water and furtive citizens and all
Loving these long videos! It's a treat to get to see your content and the games you play for a longer spell.
These cosmic horror games keep turning out so amazing and the graphics are phenomenal.
I've got my popcorn and my blanket at the ready. Can't wait to watch this ^_^
IGP: Something was just in my RV. The door is open
IGP not realizing that he left the door open when he got out of the RV after it broke down.
The entire sequence with the morphing alien thing and audio was astounding!! The audio with headphones literally gives fullbody chills 😵😵💫
Them mentioning entering the zone makes me want to suggest playing the STALKER games. They are pretty amazing and deal with cosmic horror as well. great video as always
Holy shit, this was phenomenal. PHENOMENAL. This is such a high-quality game, and the fact that this was made by ONE MAN is even more crazy! I cannot wait for more, and definitely will support this dev.
Indie getting spooked by the color from space and then playing concerning hobbits on the piano after in a crusty garage is such a vibe
god i love the editing you do when you go underwater, muffling your voice! such an amazingly subtle, yet very defining detail. really adds to the immersion!
Good evening IGP happy Friday the 13th my dude! I'm so excited to see a new video out it's perfect timing and I can't wait to see this! All your content is truly top tier.
A game this amazing developed by one person deserves an award. Great playthrough!
Holly Frk man, that was by far one of the best horror cosmic thriller that I’ve ever seen, the fact that you can unravel the mystery in so many ways is beyond, absolutely can’t wait for more of this mystery, a huge thank you to ADAM, and also to u IGP, loved it!!!!
I like when you use the realistic audio with your voice, it makes every game feel that much more real.
The fact that a single developer made this absolute masterpiece of game is just insane. The game seems extremely well done, highly immersive and original. I hope to see more games of the developer on this channel!
Some serious talent to make such an amazing game! Grabbed the Founders Edition a few minutes into the video and can't wait to try it out!
Gotta love the mic changes to fit the mood. Amazing touch with all these solo games. Really adds to the feel. Amazing work as always dude
I've watched almost every video on this channel and IGP playing the piano is by far one of the coolest things I've soon so far. Bravo.
The amount of investment this game ellicits through ambiance, environment, and sound is a masterclass in storytelling without text and speech. The triple A developers can really learn something from this. This is INCREDIBLY well done!
adam is a triple A studio with hundreds of devs in the form of just a single person!! what engine was this made in? and id love to know if every asset is made by him!! dude has serious talent
29:36 I had to stop what I was doing since im normally listening while playing or working. I didn't expect you to really be playing. That made me incredibly happy
Great editing on this video. I'm don't watch gameplay often, but the editing made it worthwhile for sure! Really love when people take pride in their crafts, this go for the game developer as well.
Not UA-cam's best creator dropping an hour of content for us
It always makes my day better when we get an IGP video. You don't see many youtubers focusing on this type of game, be it Psycological Horror, Lovecraftian Horror, Cosmic Horror, or Weird Horror. and when they do, its once in a blue moon. Yet With IGP you can safely assume that the next video will be something absoluely terrorfying and strange, yet amazing.
Your videos are always such masterpieces. Each one is such a magical experience❤ This one was amazing!!
Im not even into video games. This is like the 6th video of yours I've seen. I had to subscribe. You make the videos fun to watch. Had me crying from laughing so much from today game play with ur friend. I'm here for it! Glad I won't miss another video...I have a lot of catching up to do.
Hearing Indie have an indiegasm over such well made, hidden gems is a big part of why I love this channel. He spotlights some fantastic games that so many of us would probably never have heard of otherwise. And while I wouldn't play majority of these (I can't play horror 😅), I'm glad games like this get the attention they deserve.
1 hour video of a horror game hell yea!
I saw where we were in the story and how long the video was and audibly exclaimed, "OH GOD IT'S ONLY EPISODE ONE!!!!". I don't think I've ever seen a one person project this insanely detailed. Seven dollars to back this? That's a fucking steal, I'd pay full price.
I would be gushing about this game the whole time too XD it is incredibly well done! I'm so glad I found your channel, it's like watching a movie every video. Thank you for what you do!
Man I hope the dev sees this and hits him up, I wanna see more of this but I can't afford games 😂
This is very much fucking awesome.
Greatly appreciated the shire piano playing. Impressed that the game allowed for that much detail in a piano, but also that you knew how to play it. Gold star!
Your additional voice ambiance based on where and what your character is doing is amazing. Well done adding to the immersion.
Mate the amount props just for the first cutscene boggles my mind, very detailed props that only have a few seconds to be shown, tha dedication for just for that blows my mind.
Been absolutely loving the game choice by IGP recently. These past few videos have been amazing!
I love how into these games you get! Always hypes me up!!🎉
Hearing you play the sound of the shire 29:40 gave me absolute chills. You are my all time favourite youtuber and have been for a while. I went from loving Markiplier and Jacksepticeye's content when I was younger to being an adult and loving your channel. Keep up the amazing work
The attention to detail in just a small section underneath the floorboards of the cabin is stunning, let alone the whole map.
I know you love cosmic horror as much as me!. Thanks for playing it bro, i suggested this to you a while ago. Honestly this is the best cosmic horror I've played in a long time and this Dev deserves your love or attention.
Those animal noises just at the first kinda encounter were so unsettling I had tingling running down my body from shivers. Love it.
YOOOO ong the editor for this video is a god for the way they matched dudes voice into the game emerging all aspects! Godly bro
Oh my god, this was incredible! The eerie atmosphere, sounds and events that makes you feel watched, the cameras pointed towards the sky, the tank in the water, the burning pit, the piano, the horrifying open field around the third tower, the thing passing overhead when you reach said tower, twigs and rocks silently starting to float. Just wow. Wow! And just the sounds and movement from the purple orb? Confusion and fear, because is it attacking or not? You're never really allowed to understand what is happening when something does happen, and it keeps you curious! Freaking chefs kiss!! 💋👌
I've been following you for a good while now, just wanted to thank you so much for continuing to put all this effort into creating your own great content that shares work from other amazing creatives. I'm a visual artist and a career backseat gamer, i don't play almost anything myself, so I just dont know how I'd come across or experience this kind of art otherwise. To get such great immersive and responsive playthroughs of games like this from someone who has a passion for them and a really good backlog of knowledge of game dev is such a pleasure. I would find it hard to experience this kind of art myself not least because it's ultra freaky and seeing it through someone else's gameplay is the probably the only way I avoid nightmares from the content, but also just my skill level and that im not in many game communities means your dedication to creating these videos is a unique gift to me and others like me. Thanks ❤
You're also just hillarious and always make my day better
I love that your go to tune to play on the piano was the shire theme from lord of the rings... this sir is why you are the best.
Been watching your vids for a few years now, and I'm not one for commenting. I felt like this game deserves some recognition. Absolutely one of the best if not the best cosmic horror I've watched you play in years. Kudos to the developer. He is an incredible artist, and deserves the support.
This was absolutely amazing. the incredible environments, the sound design, the lighting, everything is amazing. This is 100 times better than anything a company could put out. And I’d love to see you play more.
I watched CJUGames play this and thought it looked absolutely stunning and insane. The developer is not only soloing this project, but knocking it out of the park! The minecart is a great way to explain the Resident Evil box system is one many awesome details! I am glad to see other folks pick this up and give it the recognition it deserves!
IGP casually playing a LoTR theme song on the piano. Fantastic.
Indie... dude... full respect to your commitment to audio. It's still one of my favorite things about your content. You pay attention to those little details, so it keeps us- or me at least- entertained as well as immersed in your gameplay. I know you have to work so hard at that. Just saying, I appreciate it. (even if you never see this lol)
I'm so glad you played this, I just did this week and i'm beyond blown away. I can't wait for more!
Absolutely chilling near the end. I can't wait to add this to my game library. Amazing video
Always love a good cosmic horror IGP let’s play. IMO the horror mystery/cryptid/cosmic stuff is his best content
that build up at the end was FANTASTIC
I was on my phone while watching this on my laptop so I wasn't paying too much attention until 53:30 where the music changed. And for the rest of the game my whole body was frozen in fear just from the music. This is how you do a soundtrack for cosmic horror games. Excited to see where this games goes.
this game is so fun to watch, same with all your content, gives me beware/stalker vibes, thanks igp! :)
This may be just me, but I really appreciate your comment about the alcohol and that everyone has a struggle and some people can't get out of it, and that hopefully they aren't hurting any of their loved ones in the process. As someone who has struggled with alcohol as a coping mechanism in the past, that hit pretty deep in a good way. I dunno why, but it just feels like a bit of the struggle has been acknowledged. Anyway, for any other folks out there who are also struggling (regardless of what your struggle may be), just know that you aren't alone and there are people thinking of you. Take one day at a time.
If IGP reads this, than thank you for thinking the way you do and being the person you are. I've been a fan since the early Subnautica days, and your content has always been some of my go-to stuff if I need to feel better or redirect to a better head space (especially your My Friendly Neighbor video). you're a good bloke, and hope you find nothing but happiness moving forward.
I wish I could support this guy, making an entire flipping game with so much detail on their own is just... beautiful. I would love to play this when I get the opportunity to!
I really enjoyed ur editing of the under-water bits. Gave me a good laugh
Holy hell! That was absolutely phenomenal
Hats off to the dev.
Everything about this game was just beautiful.
I forgot how to breathe a couple of times.
I'm so glad I chose to go full volume with earphones for this!
Thank you for the divine game play IGP and bravo to the dev. Freaking bravo 👏
I honestly love ambient horror like this. Where its the area is the character with its sounds and design. Im only 3/4 through this video and i really liking it really hasnt shown whats the scary stuff in the fog or whats out there to make your brain make the monster on its own so when/if it does your brain is shocked again. Absolutely love cosmic horror for this.
IGP not noticing the corn moving with the vibrations of the tower is crazy
