Thank you for playing and showing us one of the world's most beautiful instruments - if not the most beautiful! Your sweet playing always brings tears of joy to my eyes!
I sit here on a Saturday night in a dimly lit room, I just came to listen to your fantastic playing. Guitar in hand jamming along. You’re a wonderful player.
All of your performances in the video are amazing, but starting at 28:50 it is astonishingly good. I have now repeated that section several times. Yes, the sampled instrument appears to be of high quality, but let us not forget your ability to show what the instrument is capable of.
So glad you enjoyed watching. This was an excerpt from a recent livestream and there were over 100 in the chat. I love being in the moment when exploring these amazing instruments and this one did not disappoint. Thanks for the kind words. Joyfully yours.
Oh yes, pedal always, sometimes to the point of exhibiting PEDALitis ;^) which is overusing the pedal at times. This is perhaps one of my top pianos of 2024, it is a beautiful achievement from Galaxy Instruments and the perfect follow-up to NOIRE. Thanks for watching.
That would be amazing. I tell you what, send them a note and let them know you would like to see the Rhodes on the channel. It seems to carry more weight when developers and companies hear from the viewing audience. Thanks so much for the support.
Ah, it’s a Fazioli, so that’s why I liked it instantly. I had the Imperfect Samples Fazioli Grand which sounded wonderful but had issues with too many notes played at once. This one is not as huge and sounds just wonderful. (For reference, my favorite is Sonuscore Chroma.)
I've been dying for them to release another piano like noire, with a soft pedal and mic positions, wow i love it❤ this is honestly the only piano that i truly enjoyed this year thank you Simeon❤
What is cool about CLAIRE is that they sampled the 4th pedal which brings thins on the Fazioli to a different level. Thanks as always for the kind support.
WoW Brother love the art of this! So amazing ...... This brings life to any given situation. Just got yourself a new sub! Just inspired me to get back going more with my channel. God bless you! Great VST and awesome playing. I can tell you have a humble heart and love doing this.
Hi! Thanks for such a beautiful video. I love this! I was wondering how you get the sounds to play with such detail / without latency. When I play my VSTs using a controller, they all seem to not be as sensitive to velocity as well as having some sort of latency. I use logic - it would be wonderful if you could share your tips!
@@PraiseTracks No, thank you so much for replying! I specifically wanted to ask you since the sound/your performance here was so touching. I record my midi controller connected to my computer using USB and monitor it through my scarlett audio interface. When I play it back using logic, it sounds pretty bad. Do you have any ideas on how to improve this? Thank you!
No, it was something I heard that Mr. Rogers did at one time. It touched me deeply and I enjoy sharing as you might call a benediction to some of the livestreams. Here is a video I found of him singing it on one of his programs: ua-cam.com/video/pXtrag9qSPI/v-deo.htmlsi=lX2_crOQYD8ApnlB Thank you so much for the kind support.
Absolutely, it is like they captured the lightning in a bottle. CLAIRE is not NOIRE and vice versa, they each fit into a tone pallet that gives you some amazing possibilities. Thanks so much for watching.
Hi Simeon. Thankyou for this wonderful walkthrough. I am a huge fan of Noire but really missed having another adjustable room mic perspective and Una Corda. This appears to have been added with Claire which is very promising. I’m currently torn between buying Claire or ViLabs Modern-D. With NI’s current $25 voucher I can pick Claire up for half the price of the Modern-D despite their 30% sale price. What are your thoughts on how these two pianos compare?
Love your playing! Do you need to mess with velocities of your Casio on DAW when using Noire or Claire? I think my Yamaha sends too low velocities because NI pianos are always super quiet.
I did not adjust any velocity levels on my controllers. My experience with other Yamaha users is that the velocity curves and response on some can be difficult to dial in at first. I always say to go to the extremes (high and low) and see how it affects the sound, then make adjustments until you hit on a sound that you are enjoying. You can do some in the keyboard itself but most virtual pianos allow you to tweak the velocity scaling so I would experiment. Thanks for watching.
@PraiseTracks Thanks, I have to experiment. Just a bit annoying to always have to change stuff instead of it working out of the box. I have been eyeing out Casio px-S5000/6000
i like this better then the modern d, even though the MD is technically the best by far i just don't like how it sounds, a little too crunchy for my taste thanks man❤
I actually did a short comparison of NOIRE in this video. The CFX has that distinctive Yamaha top end when using the PURE. The felt option in NOIRE is also very beautiful. Thanks for watching.
@@Todzuum The Noire Pure version is not softer, especially the higher register since its a yamaha cfx, it has a brighter sound, but I still found Claire to have a slightly cleaner sound overall even if its softer
Yes, the PURE definitely has that extra top end shine, while the FELT is unquestionably softer and mellow. It is the magic of NOIRE to have both in one package.
I just get this feeling with the sampled libraries, that it may take a while to build up a collection of about 6 to 8 of the best ones, and this will cost a lot of money. Why do I say this, different tracks will need different kinds of tones. And then you need a really good keyboard controller. What is the Casio keyboard that Simeon uses in this demo, as his master keyboard controller? In general I find this Fazioli a bit dark. Wondering how well it will cut through in a mix. But whatever the case, it will have its uses.
I would not think so as NOIRE was based on his personal CFX and studio. Galaxy instruments however were involved in both and many more incredible pianos from Native Instruments. Thanks for watching.
No, as this is a KOMPLETE instrument this uses some of the features exclusive to Kontakt 8. If you have other versions of Kontakt installed it will coexist without an issue. I actually have versions 5, 6,7 and 8 running here. Thanks for watching.
Hi Simeon.... Outrageous playing as always.. Sorry for a picky question though.. What would you pick against the NI NOIRE & CLAIRE vs the equivalent pianos in the IK Pianoverse collection... ? ☺... Thanks soooooo much for your GREAT reviews as always....🙏
Simeon, from your point of view, which do you like more, NI CLAIRE or Ivory GERMAN D? I want to buy one, and I'm not sure which of the two is more faithful. They both sound insanely good.
@@DJIncendration it was because of their licensing agreements. Sometimes companies prefer sample developers not to mention the brand of the instrument.

That is so kind of you to say, and so encouraging. I am so blessed to be able to be here to share my experiences with you. Joyfully yours.
Simon, you are truly a superb influence on all that is beautiful in MUSIC today and a lovely human being - God Bless You.
god i cant get enough of your playing!!!!!
It sounds amazing! the low-end is so huge and sounds so life-like!

My pleasure always. Thankful for your kind support. 🤓🙏🏻
Plz more of your playing! Wooow!!!
Stay tuned!
this is probably the best sounding fazioli f308 that I've ever heard❤
for example the vsl and vilabs f308s were both so hard and bright
huuu this keys go so deep under the skin, wow fantastic feel. nothing more to say!
Hands Down the Best Claire Demo's of the Software! This is a must-have! ❤❤❤
Thanks for the very kind words. CLAIRE is indeed amazing. It is very rich and has so much potential. Joyfully yours!
Great musician, inspiring, and an even better person, I am sure...Thanks for this inspiring demo, Simon!
It is my pleasure. Thanks so much for the kind words of encouragement!
I could honestly listen to your playing all day! Amazing Simeon, and what a beautiful instrument.
Thanks Christopher🙏🏻
You are so good player
I love your videos thank you for sharing

Thanks Jacob!
Was waiting for you to meet this stunning piano library!! You are the only one who can do it justice. Simply beautiful....and thank you!💝
Always such a blessing. I am so glad you enjoyed watching.
Agnus Dei in the beginning? Very Beautiful! Best VST i have heard since the VSL stuff.
You make it sing!
Thanks Mick, that means a lot to me. Appreciate the support.
I just got the full VSL 308 version and it’s crazy. I’m still playing with it trying to figure it all out. How would you compare the two?
Excellent review as always❣.

Shootout this vs Noir! This is a beauty
Well noire is going to be much different because it’s a much softer piano so it’s going to purely preference of the owners

You might want to look into the VI Labs Modern D. I think that one is really good too.
They should have mentioned the kind of piano in the marketing, at least like they did for Noire.
@@DJIncendration it was because of their licensing agreements. Sometimes companies prefer sample developers not to mention the brand of the instrument.
@ All the more reason to mention it on the product page.
@@DJIncendrationThe point he made in his comment pretty much ruled this option out.
