Oh that's a beautiful way to put it!! That's the exact vibe I'm going for; rather than wallow in the angst as it's unfortunately popular, I want Leo to take stock of what came before and look forward to better days. It's rather personal to me, I feel like we're just at a very similar stage in self-growth haha. A lot of the songs shuffle around, but I always knew Nothing has Changed has to go at the very end no matter what, to tribute future leo. I know we love an angsty peepaw, but really future Leo is a lot more hopeful than we give him credit for sometimes. And the song perfectly conveys coming to terms with your past, the hope for something brighter ahead, and finding that you never truly lost your home after all. *Homelander voice* It was perfect, down to every minute detail. Perfect.

Sorry for the late reply! I come bearing bad news though; it IS torturous. I actually had to cut like nine whole songs out of this playlist alone, and nearly all my other paylists are the same way. (Both of my Raph playlists, for example are cut down to 3 and 2 unclaimed songs each, so they're basically irreparable.) My method? Sisyphean. I create a playlist, upload a test video with just the audio to check if it's copyrighted (you will get surprise claims even after getting a clear on the test video. Always.), edit the whole video and upload, smack into copyright hell. Cut out songs that got copyrighted and cry, and scramble to find new ones that fit the vibe and character that hopefully is not claimed. Edit the video again. Rinse and repeat until you find a combination that sticks 🥲🥲 It's so strange too cause even though I've seen other playlists with certain songs on yt (i.e. Applause, My Type, etc), when *I* try to use them they get claimed. It doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason. But there are patterns I've noticed to make your life easier! 1. Indie songs tend to be more lenient. But not always! Still better than; 2. Big bands or pop stars. Don't even bother bro. I have no idea how other people's bloody done it, but it's never worked for me. Ever. 3. Internet-based artists (i.e. niche genres, comedy-based musicians) almost always allow you to use their sounds. 4. There are many copyright-free music playlists on spotify! They're specifically made for like streamers and other content creators to not get claims up their ass. Those have helped me out, but they're rather tedious to wade through as *great* copyright-free music is like a diamond in the rough. 5. Less-edited videos (i.e. static bg and text) somehow seem to have an easier time going past the checks? Note that your video might still get claimed even *days* after posting so it's, again, not foolproof. Aaand thats pretty much all I got for ya. Over time you get to know specific artists who let you use their stuff (i.e. alfie templeman, the oh hellos, will wood) and ones that don't (i.e. mother mother, lovelytheband, daft punk), and you can avoid them instantly and not waste your time. If you got any more questions on this, feel free to ask me! It's rough out there, and I've asked this very same question to other people too but never got a reply, so I know the feeling. Good luck! 🥲
I have all the artists listed in both the description and the timestamps in the comments beside each song. Now I know I should've added them onto the video itself, though (And I do for the Donnie and Raph vids). If I could figure out how to add chapters that could be rectified, but it never worked for me no matter what I did. Most of the artists are on twitter, otherwise they can be found on tumblr. If you have any questions about the source of a particular art I would be happy to help.
Would you like it if someone stole your art? Seems extremely ignorant to me that you would do such a thing… Saying “All rights reserved to the artists” and “I learned my lesson” is not enough. Not only did you not ask the artists for credit (that much is obvious to me), you didn’t even give them the credits which they deserve. Stop saying “Credits to the artists” because that’s not what it fricking means to give credits to the artist. It means to actually mention their artist name so more people can get exposed to their art and know about the amazing artists behind the art which you have used in your own video. Please reconsider your actions. The fact that this video is still up proves that you did indeed not learn your lesson yet. So yeah. Have a nice day. But please take the video down, or credit the artists, OR, better yet, ASK the artists for their permission to use it (if you wanna keep the video up)! They might try to take down your video if they find out that you had the audacity to steal their art without even asking first, just saying….
Hello, sorry for not replying sooner, it's been a busy month. I am aware of the importance of artist credits, and at first deigned to supply individual artist credits in both the description beside each song, as well as on the timestamps in the pinned comment, as was common in other playlist videos that use fanart. However, after uploading the Leo playlist, I realized I could've also added artist credits to the videos themselves; and have since done so on my second Donnie playlist, and Raph playlist (which was taken down by yt). If you check the description/the pinned comments for the song list of each video, or the second Donnie video itself, you'll find the credits to the artists of each song. I also credited the artists of the spotify playlists' covers with their handle and where to find them written on the playlist desc. But you are also right, I did not ask for their permission, and likely should have done so. I would like to make it crystal clear: I do not incur gain of any sort from this, not monetary, nor any sort of clout. I just like ninja turtles. If any of the artists of the works I'd used on my videos asked me to take it down, I would. This channel is now dormant as well, so you will find no further copyright-infringing from me. As for my girl Riri, I'm still not sure I can do an April playlist justice. I'm SO in love with the playlist by Fuzzy Fuzz on yt... God I cannot possibly find a better combination of songs. Sorry for the late reply! I come bearing bad news though; it IS torturous. I actually had to cut like nine whole songs out of this playlist alone, and nearly all my other paylists are the same way. (Both of my Raph playlists, for example are cut down to 3 and 2 unclaimed songs each, so they're basically irreparable.)
My method? Sisyphean. I create a playlist, upload a test video with just the audio to check if it's copyrighted (you will get surprise claims even after getting a clear on the test video. Always.), edit the whole video and upload, smack into copyright hell. Cut out songs that got copyrighted and cry, and scramble to find new ones that fit the vibe and character that hopefully is not claimed. Edit the video again. Rinse and repeat until you find a combination that sticks 🥲🥲
It's so strange too cause even though I've seen other playlists with certain songs on yt (i.e. Applause, My Type, etc), when *I* try to use them they get claimed. It doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason. But there are patterns I've noticed to make your life easier!
1. Indie songs tend to be more lenient. But not always! Still better than;
2. Big bands or pop stars. Don't even bother bro. I have no idea how other people's bloody done it, but it's never worked for me. Ever.
3. Internet-based artists (i.e. niche genres, comedy-based musicians) almost always allow you to use their sounds.
4. There are many copyright-free music playlists on spotify! They're specifically made for like streamers and other content creators to not get claims up their ass. Those have helped me out, but they're rather tedious to wade through as *great* copyright-free music is like a diamond in the rough.
5. Less-edited videos (i.e. static bg and text) somehow seem to have an easier time going past the checks? Note that your video might still get claimed even *days* after posting so it's, again, not foolproof.
Aaand thats pretty much all I got for ya. Over time you get to know specific artists who let you use their stuff (i.e. alfie templeman, the oh hellos, will wood) and ones that don't (i.e. mother mother, lovelytheband, daft punk), and you can avoid them instantly and not waste your time.

I have all the artists listed in both the description and the timestamps in the comments beside each song. Now I know I should've added them onto the video itself, though (And I do for the Donnie and Raph vids). If I could figure out how to add chapters that could be rectified, but it never worked for me no matter what I did.
Most of the artists are on twitter, otherwise they can be found on tumblr. If you have any questions about the source of a particular art I would be happy to help.

Would you like it if someone stole your art? Seems extremely ignorant to me that you would do such a thing… Saying “All rights reserved to the artists” and “I learned my lesson” is not enough. Not only did you not ask the artists for credit (that much is obvious to me), you didn’t even give them the credits which they deserve. Stop saying “Credits to the artists” because that’s not what it fricking means to give credits to the artist. It means to actually mention their artist name so more people can get exposed to their art and know about the amazing artists behind the art which you have used in your own video. Please reconsider your actions. The fact that this video is still up proves that you did indeed not learn your lesson yet. So yeah. Have a nice day. But please take the video down, or credit the artists, OR, better yet, ASK the artists for their permission to use it (if you wanna keep the video up)! They might try to take down your video if they find out that you had the audacity to steal their art without even asking first, just saying….
Hello, sorry for not replying sooner, it's been a busy month. I am aware of the importance of artist credits, and at first deigned to supply individual artist credits in both the description beside each song, as well as on the timestamps in the pinned comment, as was common in other playlist videos that use fanart. However, after uploading the Leo playlist, I realized I could've also added artist credits to the videos themselves; and have since done so on my second Donnie playlist, and Raph playlist (which was taken down by yt). If you check the description/the pinned comments for the song list of each video, or the second Donnie video itself, you'll find the credits to the artists of each song. I also credited the artists of the spotify playlists' covers with their handle and where to find them written on the playlist desc.
But you are also right, I did not ask for their permission, and likely should have done so. I would like to make it crystal clear: I do not incur gain of any sort from this, not monetary, nor any sort of clout. I just like ninja turtles. If any of the artists of the works I'd used on my videos asked me to take it down, I would. This channel is now dormant as well, so you will find no further copyright-infringing from me.
