Magnus was the world no. 1 at 19 years old because he didn't have any GOAT to cross but in front of Firouzja stands a wall called Magnus so it'll take time for him but yes I believe that Firouzja can be in the GOAT debate though as an Indian, I would want to see an Indian prodigy taking that claim

I think one of the most interesting things about Alireza is the preassure he had to cope with so far. Sure he has an amazing amount of talent, but he hadn't been to the top level for verru long when people just started expecting so much. Just theagnus commemt alone shows how high the expectations are. I can't imagine the psychological effect this must have and surely it's not one that improves his ease and performance in tournaments
