As far as JD's injury it was definitely his fault. Remember earlier in the season he had the wind knocked out of him and he started running towards the sideline afterwards. Yesterday JD got greedy, and turned up field instead getting what he could get and heading for the sidelines. Mahomes had a similar big play yesterday but stayed on the sidelines. JD has to remember this is not college, these are grown men with bad intentions and the NFL stands for not for long if Jayden doesn't run smartly with the ball.

I love that it’s not worse but I’m guarded in optimism with even bruised ribs. I’ve had cracked ribs and bruised ribs and even the latter can be a nuisance. It’s all pain threshold for the latter but it can interfere with his play for a substantial period of time. Let’s hope for the best that regardless of diagnosis, that he’s 100. Let this be a lesson for him- take the slide and avoid big hits like Coach has been telling you. He’s too large a piece of this franchise and we have to play the long game.
