So you think kids can't be on the news? He is on the news because not many kids at the age of 3 can play golf, I do golf and it is tough. Let me see you swing a golf club.
HeyItsEllie 00 Funny you say that since I actually am good at golf. Anyway, I never said kids can't be on the news. This just doesn't seem newsworthy to me. Sorry,
I remember playing when I was 3 or so years old. I think it's great. Some kids just naturally love the game, and have a natural ability to wind and unwind in their swing. We put a small chip and putt golf hole in my front yard and I'd be out there until it was too dark to see just playing it over and over from different "tees" with my father. By the time high school rolled around I was already beginning to be burned out. Golf became all about practice and no longer about just having fun sending a ball flying towards a hole or hanging out with my father. I began playing a lot less, and losing a lot of passion for it. I still captained my college team, but it wasn't as fun as those days as child before anyone really put pressure on you to shave a stroke off your game. I hope Baby James's parents don't push him, but just let him treat it like a game for as long as possible. Once it goes from game to sport, it begins to take a toll on you mentally. A kid with his natural ability will progress leaps and bounds just by having fun with the game and some occasional instruction. I truly wish him the best of luck and I hope he always loves the game.
It's in our blood. It's what we were born to do. We feel and see the course differently. I can't explain how or why ,it just is. You have wonderful times ahead watching his love and passion for the game grow . Go get'em James !
All expectations aside.... this is a fantastic sport to teach the young and sometimes the OLD ! Great values and etiquette in life #golf happy people ☺️
Thanks Alex I definitely agree!!! Thanks for your support! If you would like to, Please like Baby James Facebook page under Baby James golfer, Thanks again! Nicole Grimes
are you kidding me? the kid rolls the ball into the holes consecutively without even thinking about it. No thoughts about reading the putt, the break, the undulation of the green...he just hit and sinks them. Not that good? Drive for show and putt for dough. This kid would clean you out.
Anybody asking where baby James is now, he's now the top golfer in many states in America, at 6 years old, in 2020 he is now 9 years old, having multiple world titles and invited to go to many major tournaments.
The kid is 3 years old.. He's far from the next "Tiger Woods". All he's doing is hitting the ball, no regards as to what he's actually accomplishing.. If he was around 10 years of age shooting par and below consistently and knew what he was doing and how he's doing it, then he would have a good chance at being the next Tiger woods. (79 tournament wins, 14 majors) The chance of there being another tiger woods is almost impossible considering the variety of skills and players now days.
Hi Kink Graphic Design, James will play his fourth tournament this December! James has lowered his score 10-15 strokes consistently since the tournament shown in this video! James now plays 2 day tournaments 9 holes each day 900-1,000 yards each day! Besides tournament play, James plays 2 nine hole rounds of golf each week, and also practices 5-6 days a week this being his choice! James has been blessed with a special gift! James is a very smart, amazing little boy! I am with James at every practice, every tournament! James knows exactly where he wants that ball to go and how he needs to get it there!!! He is truly amazing!!!
I actually agree with you on a lot of what you say here. However, your numbers are a little bit off. I'm pretty sure Tiger first broke par at the age of 12, not 10. But I do see that you said "around" the age of 10, which 12 is. Also, I apparently saw the same thing you did about how this child is hitting the ball. Granted, a lot of children and even adults cannot hit a golf ball into the air, or even straight for that matter. However, I do know that at the age of 3 Tiger won a 10 and under Drive, Chip and Putt competition; I certainly do not see this child accomplishing that at all. Finally, don't get me wrong here. I'm happy for this kid and I hope he improves as he gets older, but all in all, airing this on TV makes it just seem like a slow news night to me, and that they just needed a "warm and fuzzy" filler story.
Yes you are right plus a child his age dosent have those thinking skills when he puts he dosent make any calculations just hits it and his form was horrible those other kids knew what they were doing though
Give this kid and his family a break.Watching this in the Uk and I love his enthusiasm for the game.So long as he isn't driven to take over his life.So long as theyre happy and he enjoys it the best of luck to them.you never know you may be clearing him on for the U.S In 20 years time!
Thanks Colin! Adam Scott is really good! Baby James loves the game! He is just starting to really realize what strokes are...lol...I always kept count but as of this week, He counts on the greens...He says anything past two isn't good on the greens, He is something!!! Thanks for your support and keep up your golf!!!!!
nicole grimes I hope my son keeps his love for golf. Trains took over for a while but he is now interested more in golf:)I We are taking him to his first putt putt golf outing. I may just have the first lefty driver and righty iron hitting mini golf. Take a look at my son's videos:) I love your video...I showed it to my son and he watched it several times:) maybe one day we will see you guys in a tournament:)
Wow that's wonderful! How do I search for his videos? James loves trains also! James did well today for 9 holes! His putting was amazing! I bring him to practice alot! I find it helps if I keep it part of a routine! Your son sounds great! Keep it up!!!
I guess if you click on my picture or name. Your son has such a natural swing. I've been playing golf since i was 7. Dynamic learning is such a power tool. I let my son just swing away and let him figure the game out. At the par 3 course which has 9 holes he make at least one par and I celebrate that with trip to Dairy Queen:). Putting is still shaky but he eventually putts out:)
No I see a man that wants to push his son to live out a dream that EVERY single golfer would love to live. I’ve been playing for 2 months and would absolutely love the opportunity even though I’m god awful at the sport. Let the man dream, leave him alone.
This reminds me of that Tracy Morgan - Tim Meadows SNL skit. Earl Woods: Well, I pretty much knew that my son, Tiger, was going to be a professional golfer. When he was a baby, he would grab onto these little toy golf clubs we had gotten him, and swing them all around, to and fro and what not, all the live-long day. He loved that little club. Tiger Woods: My first concious memory.. is my father crazy-gluing this plastic golf club to my hands. His hair was all messed up, and he had this crazy look in his eye.
My son started walking at 8 months and has been hitting golf balls ever since. He choose baseball. Hid senior year he batted 429. with a 610 on base percentage. Every college that had a baseball team wanted him. He drove a 350 yard par 4 the last time I played with him. His eye to hand coordination he developed as a baby has helped him in every sport or kid that requires hand coordination. If this young man continues to love the game, he will definitely go pro.
I started just like this, hitting the plastic balls into the tv screen right when I learned how to walk. I modeled my swing after John Daly. The very, very beyond parallel swing, yeah that was me at 5. I am 13 now and play in tournaments every weekend. Its great to see kids starting out at such a young age on a great sport like this!
Nice skills, but I personally don't like kids getting into it so young. At around 8 or 9 years of age a child has a greater ability to follow instructions and will advance very quickly from that point. If you have 100 8 year olds and start teaching them you will develop a very high percentage of good young golfers. Start them at 3 years of age when they have very little chance of following instructions they will only develop bad habits that will be difficult to break at a later stage. Yes you may create the odd Tiger Woods but at the expense of thousands of washed up burned out 8 year olds!!
I'd like to see him playing cowboys and indians, building cubby houses. It's no big drama but I do think he will be a nice golfer if he takes the game up a little later, and he will have a more rounded childhood.
I'm not sure starting at 8 would give them enough of a head start compared to what Tiger was doing at an early age. But let's not get excited because the kid can strike the ball "pure". Tigers stroke looked better than grown men and the only thing that kept him from consistently beating them was sheer strengt
Takes dedication and guidance. Tiger had his dad. This kids parents seem to care enough to have him practice regularly. Did you/do you practice on a daily basis?
KyleJPie10 yes actually i would have got a sponsor + talent training (germany) but i was so young that i didn't want that training anymore cuz i wanted to practise alone :/ ill never get that chance again
Yeah till the kid gets bored of it because his mom keeps forcing him to play. Boring as fuck stories no one cares how someone starts out, the only thing matters where you end up. These news station don't have anything actually interesting to show so they just show this shit.
Just because he is remarkable at a young age doesn't mean he is going to turn out amazing... I played with a kid in baseball when I was 7 who would hit a homerun 1 out of every 3 at bats and now he is just an average player. The game will catch up to him eventually.

+Mike Swentko hes coming back though slowly but surely
This didn’t age well.
Good call lol
His dad is so confident he’s going to the pga, that’s just a ridiculous assumption. Not very modest either.
Pga is easy to make or get on but hard to win or stay on it!🤔
I may be the greatest athlete in the world
This reminds me of that Tracy Morgan - Tim Meadows SNL skit.
Thanks Mr. Ronnie! James is now 8, still playing great golf. He still loves the game.
How are you doing now my man?
When they said he shot “a 12” on the second to last hole I started hard laughing idk why lol
1:52 all men do it
Lol
hahahahahaahaah
That's what I was thinking as soon as she said it
Afl
WydfghtddytdskytdnhtdgremhrfhmopMf noted that he was the first place in my room is so good to be a little bit more better
Adam Graeff lol
He is crazy talented not even I could do that at such a young age.
“Mad skills on the golf links”
hits it in bush
When I swing dirt shoots up in the air but ball does not move
Sleepy Cobra I’ve actually hit the ball backwards 🤔
And my golf watch has a detection thing where it tells you how far you hit the ball, and it went 16 yards the other way with a driver
The putting is a fluke, he doesn't have any good control over the ball, also there will NEVER be another tiger woods.
Aidan Osborne You are a fuck face.
aidan he'd probably kick your ass, fucktard
There will never another jack nicklaus lol opps then their was Tiger.
Please let him be a child, have fun riding bikes, climbing trees, making snores around the campfire. He is a talented young boy.
Just dont sleep too close to the fire.
2020 he’s still playing.
I’m nearly 3 and want to be a future woman’s golf champion. My daddy is a golf pro and I love it. #golf #womansgolf
Golf Lessons Online so what do you like him to do for the next few years, untill he is 8 years old? Playing tennis?
I'd like to see him playing cowboys and indians, building cubby houses. It's no big drama but I do think he will be a nice golfer if he takes the game up a little later, and he will have a more rounded childhood.
Golf Lessons Online
well..this guy doesn´t seem to be unhappy playing golf as much as he wants.. :)
I'm not sure starting at 8 would give them enough of a head start compared to what Tiger was doing at an early age. But let's not get excited because the kid can strike the ball "pure". Tigers stroke looked better than grown men and the only thing that kept him from consistently beating them was sheer strengt
He loves golf. He’s having fun
Thats amazing I can't believe my eyes! ABC News
Why tf this video keep getting on my recommended after I watched a million times
Probably because you watched a million times.
This kid hits better than me
I can’t believe y’all are mad at a 3 year old for having fun 🤣🤣🤣
He got 4th. Should t have gotten a medal. Wont get one later in life for being4th best
dpb they are little so they need some awards to make them keep going. But I do see what you mean
dpb he’s literally 3 years old do you have a heart
2019 anyone
Just me ok 👌🏼
no im here
I did the same in his age, and I'm not a pro now.
Takes dedication and guidance. Tiger had his dad. This kids parents seem to care enough to have him practice regularly. Did you/do you practice on a daily basis?
KyleJPie10 yes
actually i would have got a sponsor + talent training (germany) but i was so young that i didn't want that training anymore cuz i wanted to practise alone :/
ill never get that chance again
same
Yeah till the kid gets bored of it because his mom keeps forcing him to play. Boring as fuck stories no one cares how someone starts out, the only thing matters where you end up. These news station don't have anything actually interesting to show so they just show this shit.
+deadmeh damn right
Watching those swings and making solid contact. Dang. They have futures in this sport.
just looked him up. he plays is pga junior tours
He is only 3 but he is better than me smh 🤦♀️
Not even close, tiger can hit at least 3x farther
Will tigers swing at 2 was so much better
Just because he is remarkable at a young age doesn't mean he is going to turn out amazing... I played with a kid in baseball when I was 7 who would hit a homerun 1 out of every 3 at bats and now he is just an average player. The game will catch up to him eventually.
Thank God for parents like that.
Who else is ranting to themselves about the fact these kids golf better than you.
