    The reason that Critical ADCs aren't as prominent is because Kai'Sa/Ezreal/Zeri have ways to curve without building those expensive items. Kai'Sa does 40% Magic Damage and shreds tanks. Building Crits hampers that, since she wants to bottom your healthbar (Kraken/BoRTK/Guinsoo).
    Ezreal was struggling, until they made his Q deal 140% AD. I dislike that change, since it's too easy to win on him as 2 Qs late game deal +40 damage at least, and it only gets harder to lane against him. That flattens the skill floor of Ezreal.
    Zeri doesn't need Crits early, since her weakness is Lightning C(R)ash. She wants to have as strong of an Ultimate as possible, specifically Level 11. Statikk gives: waveclear, MS, AD and attackspeed, making her Ultimate better. Bloodthirster helps her with the main weakness of her Ultimate (low sustained damage) and Ruanaan helps her to get more changes for an R Proc and extending the duration.
    All of these ADCs are 30-40% Magic Damage. Building raw AD does little to make them succeed, as much as AD + Another Stat does.

    Regarding the 'seeing gold total in game', I don't think it'll have the effect you explained. I fear it would be the total opposite. Teams just FF'ing because they are behind, instead of just trying to get a comeback. And the laner that is doing bad, will in most cases, most likely still complain and FF because they aren't having a great time. :(

    If the average players is at 50% and the apex of the game is at 100%, balance Zeri around 75%. Have her weak on average, but with enough skill room to let those who are good at her shine.

    I think riot's use of mixed scaling for champions is half of their issues with balancing. I understand that they want to explore build paths but I think that's something they can add on after they get the champion balanced around their main role ie pantheon just now getting his ap scaling and late-game scaling.

    As someone who played quite a bit of Smite, where they do show total team gold at all times, it lead to a lot of giving up and early surrenders. We are 2k down at 5 mins, whats the point etc...

    One of my favorite unintuitive things about the world is that no matter what skill you look at, the best and the worst tend to do the exact same thing, but for different reasons. Everyone else in the middle does something different.

    24:00 I think it is a skill as well that you can somewhat estimate how much gold you are ahead/behind. You just described the positive scenario but what about the other way round: Your team can see that it is 10k gold behind (like in the game you played the other day) and knowing that you are behind can make your team to forfeit a possibly winnable game. I personally wouldn't want that feature implemented.
