It looks like Mixcraft with version Pro 9 is really catching up on the other DAWs at the moment. It is really a pretty intuitive application that leaves little to be desired and is well-structured. The user interface is pleasant to handle and the loop and VST options are self-explanatory, I guess musicians have been working on this and no software Nurds! Well this raises expectaitions for version 10!

MIXCRAFT 9 does not see the LOOP library

Can you pitch shift the samples in the work area or change samples from loop to one shot? I also can't figure out how to change the cursor tool between paint/razor/cursor. Or can you only "paint" and "pencil" midi rolls?
I'm new to mixcraft and bought it because Acid Pro stopped working. I'm starting to think that a lot of things I did can only be done in Acid Pro. I've been watching the lessons but I'm still struggling.

guys it was so much easier to just press the little plus button beside the loops to add, not to mention adding them where you want in you project instead of always at the bottom. Also takes an additional step to add a flag now. 'Improvements'. I love mcraft but yeah :/
Venus Theory
I am using the free trial right now and thinking about purchasing MC9. I wrote a song with a 6/8 time signature and I want to record it. I've been trying to find a drum loop to use (just to listen to while playing/singing), but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to sort the loops by time signature. What am I missing?
Hey there! To do that, you can right click on the category bar (with name, tempo, etc) and add 'signature' as one of the qualifiers!

my library only shows 652 items as against 7958 what could be the issue?

Are these many loops only available in the paid version?
Hey there! That's correct, these loops are part of the full version of Mixcraft. Once you purchase a copy of Mixcraft you then gain the license to use the loops royalty free!
