🙂 Let me! What actually it is? These ladies (singers) are representing two phases of life ... Naseebo (starting singer) is presenting rough and tough time, which someone already gone through, you can clearly hear and feel the pain in her voice/tone (high pitched) and Abida Sahiba (2nd singer) presenting, calm and acceptance (aspects of life) harsh realities but at the end, after suffering they decided to compromise and saying "Tu Jhoom", means "live your life" 🙏 (Tu means you and Jhoom is dance form, but here it means ignore everything) rest of the ppl on stage performing as "World".
Now keep the concept in your mind, focus on their lyrics (subtitles) you will definitely realize and have the sweet and sour taste of truth. 👍🏼 (Coke Studio Pakistan)

I also cried when I heard this song for the first time. This Sufi poetry touches your heart irrespective of your tradition, culture, ethnicity. This is simply transcendental.
This song is creating a ripple effect across the world even in the regions where people won't be able to understand the singing. Now I have truly understood the essence when people say that music has no language and barriers. That statement is so effin true. Thanks to your reaction to their singing.

My heart literally stopped on this. It felt like lyrics are written on me and Naseebo Lal is all there to sing for me. Our life usually starts from understanding people and ends with being misunderstood. Neither we understand them nor do we manage to be understood. These lyrics truly make us realize that everything is our self. Our pain. Our happiness. Our depression. Everything. Then why do we waste our energy on understanding people? Why can't we seek ourselves and find better version of ourselves? Why can't we crave for peace mentally?
She again put gem of words:
"Main Razi Apni Zat Tu, Main Ute Apni Okat Tu
Ee Duniya Meri Fikar Nahen, Main Samajh Gae Har Bat Nu."
I completely fell for these lines. It made me feel proud of the choices I made for myself. All I learnt in these years is to live in my bubble and do things that satiate my heart and alleviate my soul. This world is totally indifferent to our emotions. We can't really afford to take care of people around for things that truly make us happy. Our actions are supposed to satisfy our soul and convince our conscience.
When Abida Parveen added her part, I completely lost:
"Ki Karna ee Oonchyan Shanan Nu
Ki Hath Lana Asmanan Nu
Main Hasde Hasde hai Jeena
Main Nikal Gae Guman Nu."
These lines took me towards people whose down to earth attitude and modest ways touched my heart. Who always wear smiles no matter what happens. Who didn't choose to be great but humble.
When "Tu Jhoom Tu Jhoom" starts, it literally gives goosebumps. So aesthetically pleasing lyrics and voices we got❤. These two ladies have my heart.

As a Punjabi we have centuries of DNA coding of this language, with subconscious deeper understanding of it, that lyrics like that just hit the mind and heart different. Almost untranslatable. Can only be felt and enjoyed. #TuJhoom

The title 'Tu Jhoom' literally means 'to sway with joy or in a spiritual manner to the point where one loses the sense of being.' That's what the dancers are showing in their depiction of the word 'tu jhoom' meaning 'you sway".
Not exactly where one loses the sense of being but where one loses sense of being in worldly materialism and rejoice in eternal spiritual platform.

As a Pakistani female, I am exceptionally thankful to both the vocalists, who have created a softer image of Pakistan and brought joy to countless hearts.
