Been struggling not knowing what to crochet, just found your tutorial. I have just completed my first hexagon and feel totally relaxed. You have brought sunshine in to my life this evening, thank you. Can't wait to make more in different colours, then will use your technique of joining to make my first ever blanket/throw. Bless you xxxxx
Omg this is so hard for me. ?? Struggling with the star stitch I gave up. The hexagon. She is excellent. Literally I get it. But still I have to many stitchs first round I have 25 post Should be 24.
Found this tutorial Monday and it has helped me immensely you're so clear about what is needed to be done when making a hexagon it is so easy to follow thank you I'm making a big hexagon blanket for my mum for mother's Day and am on row 22 already
Thank you for showing me how to make the hexagon. I tried several patterns, but the magic circle start leaves me flustered and I spend a lot of time trying and give up. This was so simple. I tried the first time with a small hook and fine yarn, than changed up to a larger hook and dk weight yarn and I was able to see the stitches clearly and understand what I was making better. The hexagon came out perfectly shaped and you got my confidence back. I am trying to make a bridal gift of a double blanket in shades of white and cream for someone very special, but I think I will start with a baby blanket to get my mojo flowing. Excellent job, easy tutorial to follow, well filmed. Thank you, Chrissy / Canada
Thank you for this tutorial. I have liked and subscribed to this channel because I was able to follow what you said straight away and now I have a little hexagon of my own. Thank you 😊
Thank you for this! I have have tried so many other videos and written patterns and yours was the first time I really felt like I understood when I was supposed to be doing my new stitches and got a result I was happy with.
Wonderful tutorial! I love the hexagons! My granddaughter put a temporary tattoo on me and it stayed on for 3 weeks! Lol! Onto the joining tutorial. Thanks!
Thank you for this excellent tutorial! You explain & demonstrate the steps expertly. Perhaps using a yarn that contrasts more with the light table background would enhance your illustration as well as stopping & pointing out the actual corners as the hexagon develops. Just a few ideas respectfully presented as constructive feedback. Thank you again! I really love the hexagon shape. ~Kat
This is awesome! One question I have... How do you crochet it so that the original chain of 4 does not make a "bubble"? Those 4 stitches in mine seem to be free-floating and not attached to anything, causing a little bump.
I guess I need to go back to basics. My stitches seem to be too tight and I have difficulties getting through the top of the next stich to continue the pattern....
Hi Rebecca, please can you tell me how to do a half hexagon as your explanations are fabulous as is your videos, your voice is very pleasant to listen to aswell, that may sound creepy but not meant to be, thank you x
Hi. Don’t know why I have 5 trebles. I have tried over abs over. Left hand and right hand I’m getting it. But I have 5. Where am I putting the extra stitch. I wish I could show you my swatch. 1st round including the ch 3. I have 25 post… is this incorrect. Did it be 24? Also stitch anatomy.
At last I can understand how to do hexagons. Your tutorials are so easy to understand. Thank you Rebecca

My hexagons are turning out square. Please help!!
Very nice, thank you.
How do you use a five sided hexagon
You can use it as a coaster, or make multiple ones and make a blanket of a cover
