All of these "higher end" luxury brands produce expensive products but are they always worth your hard earned money?
I don't ming spending the extra money on a high quality and stylish products, but as of lately I feel like the quality control from these top brands is lacking severely.
So I am getting rid of some possibly all of my Gucci and LV belts. and guess what? I got lucky and found some awesome replacements!

Moral of the story for any designer brand: If you can afford it and you want it, then buy it. If you can’t afford it then don’t buy it. If you stress over the price you spent after buying it, then most likely you are not making a very high income so do not buy it.

Great video! I have been researching high-end belts for the past 2 years and developing a new high-end unique Retro Red (RR) statement belt for both men and women. I do agree with the quality comment, i've found that high-end belts today you're not really getting value for money and basically paying for just a brand name and thier high overheads. I mean the gold belts are just plain "gold tone" which is pretty much painted. And the leather feels quite plastic which is probably because they're chrome tanned (not eco-friendly) and had the natural beauty sucked out of the skin with chemicals used in these processes ebcause it's cheap and quick to do. The belts I have manufactured are pure quality. They're not cheap but you get something really special for your money. Buckles are generously coated in different precious metals like pure silver, 24 karat gold, pure palladium and rhodium and finished with a clear ceramic coat for protection . Each set also includes 2 separate full grain leather straps and I'm also looking at a really beautiful vegan leather. You can add new indivdual straps and buckles too at a fraction of the cost. MCM belt is the most nicest belt I ever wear you can see that they are solid and hard quality. And you pay lower price than gucci or louis etc.

@@KRTLyfe I got me the bag MCM too and for the price tbh they are worth it. You can see why you are paying that price. It's not like that louis vuitton belt reversible this belt is not worth is price and the buckle is less great than the regular one and you pay more for it.

I like that you care more about quality than brand I stay true to my self the first brand I fell in love with was Guess and manly because I’m an A$AP fan for life so Rocky put me in good brands that don’t cost more than a used car but I mean I would save up for LV belt bc I really like the design and style LV does to them
LV has some good options. I love my LV wallet, it has been extremely durable. I am very impressed with it after 5 years of constant use. Just keep in mind, if you get a canvas LV belt and the canvas cracks, it is not repairable according to my local LV store. The canvas is pretty durable, just do your own research on the specific item before you dive in.

I love my Gucci and LV belts. Huge compliment getters when you go out too. Then interlocking Gucci belts look ugly though. It’s all about the double GG.

Where do you get your used designer belts?
Christopher Bates E bay, and Stock X are a few of the online sources. In my city we have some specialty stores for used designer items. I got rid of all of my things but I’m sure there are even more sources now. I think Dillard’s has even gotten into the used designer goods game. You might want to definitely check out Dillard’s collection of used LV and Gucci.
I would hit up the Nordstorm racks they have old discounted ferragamo belts and stuff like that

There is one Gucci belt that came out about 7 years ago that I still like unfortunately they never made it again. I wish I could post a picture of it in the comments section.

Yvng Malice I have been very successful with eBay. eBay has very strong policy’s against the sale of counterfeit products and I believe if you have an issue eBay will step in to help resolve it and give you a refund. That being said I would still do my homework on the product before you purchase. I tend to look for items that come with the original receipt and packaging.
It makes it easier if you ever want to sell your item and those things can help verify authenticity plus you have a record of purchase from an authorized retailer.

Sorry for the late response. I highly recommended genuine leather regardless of who the manufacturer is. Some synthetic materials can be even better but it is a matter of your specific taste and style.
