@@enacku I have never saw a sign that says what a passing speed is. If the person in the right lane is going 75 then you stay going 75 in the passing lane on cruise control then the need to get over. You are making this very complicated. It’s a PASSING lane. As long as you are still passing no matter what the speed then you are in the right. But if you stay over there without passing whether you are going 120 or 65 then that’s not right. Clearly from this video he is driving fast but still gets over when he can to let faster cars pass.
I absolutely love my 2018 Titanium! 2.0L Turbo, AWD. I installed Steeda front and rear sway bars (much bigger and stronger than factory), front strut tower braces, lowering springs by 1", and Bilstein Shock Absorbers. The car handles like a totally different car. I haven't tried this speed test yet, but I have had it up to 115 MPH for about five minutes, and the car held remarkably well, much better than I anticipated. I also took it up to the mountains after these installs, and the car never swayed, swerved, and there was no tire squeal at all. When I hit the bottom of the mountain, my face hurt from smiling so hard!! These mods eliminate front and rear dives, corner leaning, and just makes the car ride so much better. Plus the lower stance makes it look much more sporty.
I had the 2.0 AWD as well. Very, very nice car. Decently quick, handles almost like a German car and looks wicked (especially at night) ended up selling it though - still miss it. Didn’t mod it though.. sadly I highly recommend changing the PTU fluid at regular intervals as that’s the weak spot on Fusions. I believe they say it’s lifetime fluid but that’s a bunch of BS.

I’ve got the Mondeo here in Scotland, bought it at 35000 miles 2 years & 7 months ago & I tell you what a car , it’s superb , it’s quick and quiet, up to speed in no time & first away at the stop lights , it’s silver in colour & it always gets other drivers looking in then passing on on the motorway also the set of wheels that comes with the car whenever it’s stopped looks just fabulous. I have the Ford Escape Titanium 2.0 turbocharged. That Cross over is fast and smooth. 19 inch tires and rims. Black appeal package. Great looking too. I haven't gotten it over 115 mph. But it handles very well. The Fusion is awesome and underrated. That's why I love Ford's. Shawn.
That car is heaven. I can pull out 3 situations from this video. 1 - 5:06 You're late to work, or school/college. 2 - 6:26 You have to pick your sick child up from anywhere. 3 - 1:52 You're driving home at the end of the day, tired.

Remember doing 127 on my fusion SE once... surprisingly it held well and maintained speed. Not numbers to Wright about but definitely a good grocery getter that can drive especially for a 2020 model that costed me $18,000 with 3 miles on it

Ive driven 1 of these over 100mph during snowstorm. The awd is flawless and the handling in the snow and ice is excellent i will be buying this car soon.

Crazy that ford is putting the 2.7 V6 twin turbo at only 325hp, the 2.3 I4 EcoBoost could easily hit that number and get way better gas mileage. Probably would have been easier to maintain too but who knows why Ford does what they do.
I believe the Fusion is electronically limited to 220 Km/h / 136 Mph. I guess if you go down a hill it'll let you go a bit faster. Not that the fusion is capable of much more than 220 on flat ground anyway. Maybe 235 if you're lucky assuming you've disabled the limiter.
The Fusion 2.0 is capable of much higher speeds. The fuel cuts off at about 122 ish, when you’re on it, you can definitely feel it has much more in it. I think the actual top speed without Governor is like 140~

I felt safe driving in Germany as most people are paying attention to what their doing. Before I left for Germany I familiarised myself with traffic signs and basic understanding of traffic regs. I was driving on the autobahn and noticed signs indicating road construction ahead and a Chevy Corvette approached me at high speed, passed me on the left skidding out if control doing a 360 degree skid amazingly not hitting any construction barricades. When he went whizzing by, I noticed he had American license plates on his car. What a loser.

After driving over 10h to get to the Salt lake city i decided to speed up a bit so we would make it in time and of course there was a cop between the lanes right after a hilltop. This was the first time in my life a got a speeding ticket, 180$ for doing 91 on 75 on a road in the middle of nowhere with no traffic. I also noticed people not knowing they are supposed to drive in the right lane, when my girlfriend(american) started overtaking the pickup from the right, the guy got butthurt and raced her up to 115mph or something before she decided hes not worth it, still, he continues on cruise control in the left lane. Hope you guys are holding on and i'm looking forward to visit the USA again when this pandemic (and anarchy) is over. (i was driving Nissan maxima ~300 hp)
I have European Fusion - Mondeo, diesel AWD with less power (180HP) and it goes also 130MPH with no problem on German Highway (My maximum was 230 KPH = 143 MPH)... this Ecoboost is slow for that power
The Fusion is no slotch and feels very quick but it was actually one of the slowest family sedans. 0-60 in the 2.0 was high 7 seconds. The turbo 4/ V6 competitors (accord, Camry, sonata, optima, malibu) were all high 5, low 6s
The video was fun to watch, and I gave it a 👍... But, this video is also an example of why I would buy a Fusion Sport 2.7L Twin Turbo V6 instead of the much slower Fusion 2.0T, if I were looking to buy a used Fusion. I know speed isn't the reason why people buy these cars, but this 2.0T wasn't even fast enough to beat a van on the autobahn! I couldn't believe what I saw. Still a nice Fusion Titanium AWD though 👍
I have the 2018 Titanium 2.0 in white platinum pearl with no mods what so ever. I'm almost at 100000KM and it still behave like new. Awesome car. Gaz mileage is ok. I want to floor it all the time.
My awd Fusion is Factory limited to 122 lol. Does a really great job handling at those speeds. I did blow up the engine somehow though, may have clicked on this video for the nostalgia

I have a 2020 Ford Fusion platinum 2.0 ecoboost rental car right now while my Ford Expedition gets repaired at the body shop. I'll miss it when I have to take it back. I clocked a 0-60 time of about 6 seconds. Not bad for a 4 cylinder 4 door sedan.
It is so werid, there was a chart that showed for FY'21 the Fusion is in 4th place in Fords best sellers. They still redesign and support so many vehicles that are below that threshold. If they did a proper redesign with an all electric version and a Lincoln competetor to the Model S it would propably sell pretty well.
Guys the US version Fusion limits you to 120mph I have one and installed a Cobb accessport V3 it automatically removes the governor with any stage you put.
Mondeo Mk5 with the same engine but front-wheel drive runs much faster. It easily develops its passport 245 km / h. apparently four-wheel drive killed the dynamics. Thank you for the test, if you can, I would like to see the Fusion Sport.
Damn. I have a 2012 2.5 SE and I'm eyeing this 2.0 Ecoboost model. A friend has a Lincoln MKC with what I believe is the same engine and it's snappy and great.
I got my 2014 for fusion SE 2.0t ecoboost ecu tuned and I haven’t tried for max speed yet but let me tell you I go 100 occasionally here and there and it gets there VERY quickly I’m sitting at about 295 horsepower right now according to my tuner
I have the stock 2.0 hybrid, and the 2.0 engine with cvt by itself (no electric motor aid, just 145 rated HP) has no issues reaching 119 MPH, with still headroom spare (electronically limited)
I’ll be honest this is one of my dream cars to drive in it looks good and seems fun to drive my plan would be to use a Honda Accord as a week day car and drive that ford as a weekend car for fun and it would defiantly be a good backup car to have you can’t go wrong with a fusion in my opinion.
I did a high speed chase in my girlfriends like a week ago had Taurus and Toyota Camry (undercover) I got away thanks to first God secondly the Mighty great 2020 eco-boost . It’s handling, acceleration, braking, adaptive Driver control and just its overall performance was Divine and phenomenal.
Now take the fusion hybrid out on the Autobahn. Boom! 😂 I have a '13 fusion hybrid and it's actually more fun to drive than an '09 Passat 2.0T I had. The fusion is HILARIOUS
The Fusion Hybrid's top out at 122 and handle it great. I love mine for sure. I drive Uber with mine and 8/10 passangers always awe and gush over how nice the car is. (I love it, but I'm not as impressed as they are.) It's a beautiful and nice car, but I swear my passengers act like they're sitting in a S Class. Wish I had their low standard. Haha

Still looks nice enough for an economy car. I got sideswiped by some Indian guy so I took the money for that accident and just taped my slightly damaged mirror 😂 and had a hit an run happen to me at the airport so had to touch up paint the rear quarter panel and then recently I rear ended someone who slammed on their brakes to let someone onto the highway that missed the entrance. Luckily I didn't hit em too hard but it was during a Lyft ride and I didn't have a dashcam yet so I was "at fault" and I don't have full coverage so that's out of pocket. My poor hybrid is so banged up lol. Still a nice looking car even with all that accident damage I described. I have the platinum white color. I used to use a 2016 Lincoln mkz for Uber and it was the same thing you described what happens with your fusion. People gush over it. I got so annoyed by that I sold that car LOL. And for other reasons like gas mileage. The fusion is a keeper. I'll fix up my car's cosmetic damage and keep it forever. 177k miles and still going strong! Still get like 45mpgs and I drive it aggressively and that's a lot of highway driving

I don't use the paddle shifters, they have a second or two reaction time to engage the next gear, pretty frustrating. I wish they'd made these with a manual transmission.
Germany has speed limits. This is called the recommended speed and 130 is the highest. You can drive much faster on these sections. Only if something happens and you are faster than the specified recommended speed you are not insured. And you have to fully stand up for the damage with fines and imprisonment.

You never got it up to max speed though. I had mine up to 156 in Texas in the straights last year. Mine was tuned and modded slightly to a little over 300hp but still that was all it had.

I don't think it was by accident. Looks like he was done with the aggressive sport mode driving on the highway and needed to change to conservative drive mode within town, so he switched to neutral and then drive. He could have just easily have turned off sport mode by hoding down the S button again to deactivate sport mode.

Tuned my 2015 Fusion 2.0 AWD, top speed went from 128mph, I got it to 155mph. Another enthusiast on a forum told me he got his to max at 161mph.

The video was fun to watch, and I gave it a 👍... But, this video is also an example of why I would buy a Fusion Sport 2.7L Twin Turbo V6 instead of the much slower Fusion 2.0T, if I were looking to buy a used Fusion. I know speed isn't the reason why people buy these cars, but this 2.0T wasn't even fast enough to beat a van on the autobahn! I couldn't believe what I saw. Still a nice Fusion Titanium AWD though 👍

I have the 2018 Titanium 2.0 in white platinum pearl with no mods what so ever. I'm almost at 100000KM and it still behave like new. Awesome car. Gaz mileage is ok. I want to floor it all the time.
I think I like the sound of my twin turbo V6 fusion sport more. I don’t know though because that in-line four does sound pretty good

It is so werid, there was a chart that showed for FY'21 the Fusion is in 4th place in Fords best sellers. They still redesign and support so many vehicles that are below that threshold. If they did a proper redesign with an all electric version and a Lincoln competetor to the Model S it would propably sell pretty well.
Guys the US version Fusion limits you to 120mph I have one and installed a Cobb accessport V3 it automatically removes the governor with any stage you put.

I'd recommend looking at the Fusion sport, if you want something quite a bit more powerful
I got my 2014 for fusion SE 2.0t ecoboost ecu tuned and I haven’t tried for max speed yet but let me tell you I go 100 occasionally here and there and it gets there VERY quickly I’m sitting at about 295 horsepower right now according to my tuner

I have the stock 2.0 hybrid, and the 2.0 engine with cvt by itself (no electric motor aid, just 145 rated HP) has no issues reaching 119 MPH, with still headroom spare (electronically limited)

I’ll be honest this is one of my dream cars to drive in it looks good and seems fun to drive my plan would be to use a Honda Accord as a week day car and drive that ford as a weekend car for fun and it would defiantly be a good backup car to have you can’t go wrong with a fusion in my opinion.
I did a high speed chase in my girlfriends like a week ago had Taurus and Toyota Camry (undercover) I got away thanks to first God secondly the Mighty great 2020 eco-boost . It’s handling, acceleration, braking, adaptive Driver control and just its overall performance was Divine and phenomenal.

I have a '13 fusion hybrid and it's actually more fun to drive than an '09 Passat 2.0T I had. The fusion is HILARIOUS
The Fusion Hybrid's top out at 122 and handle it great. I love mine for sure. I drive Uber with mine and 8/10 passangers always awe and gush over how nice the car is. (I love it, but I'm not as impressed as they are.) It's a beautiful and nice car, but I swear my passengers act like they're sitting in a S Class. Wish I had their low standard. Haha
@@OhPhuckYou lol! That's too funny. I don't get too many compliments with mine but that's because it's the SE trim. So tan interior with cloth and cheap everything. Still looks nice enough for an economy car. I got sideswiped by some Indian guy so I took the money for that accident and just taped my slightly damaged mirror 😂 and had a hit an run happen to me at the airport so had to touch up paint the rear quarter panel and then recently I rear ended someone who slammed on their brakes to let someone onto the highway that missed the entrance. Luckily I didn't hit em too hard but it was during a Lyft ride and I didn't have a dashcam yet so I was "at fault" and I don't have full coverage so that's out of pocket. My poor hybrid is so banged up lol. Still a nice looking car even with all that accident damage I described. I have the platinum white color. I used to use a 2016 Lincoln mkz for Uber and it was the same thing you described what happens with your fusion. People gush over it. I got so annoyed by that I sold that car LOL. And for other reasons like gas mileage. The fusion is a keeper. I'll fix up my car's cosmetic damage and keep it forever. 177k miles and still going strong! Still get like 45mpgs and I drive it aggressively and that's a lot of highway driving

It really grinds my gears that my AWD Taurus Limited doesn't come with paddle shifters yet this and some other Ford SUV does
I don't use the paddle shifters, they have a second or two reaction time to engage the next gear, pretty frustrating. I wish they'd made these with a manual transmission.

Germany has speed limits. This is called the recommended speed and 130 is the highest. You can drive much faster on these sections. Only if something happens and you are faster than the specified recommended speed you are not insured. And you have to fully stand up for the damage with fines and imprisonment.
У меня Форд Галактика (Galaxy) 2011 г.в. Экобуст 2л., 200л.с. Валит он охуительно - 200 км/ч легко набирает. До 220 по прямой разгоняется. А этот водила какой-то ссыкун. Дорога свободная, жми..... Я на тестовом Мондео (200л.с.) до 240 км/ч легко разгонялся (перед покупкой Галактики в 2011 году)
200 лс это програмно урезанные силы для налога, можно легко прошить до 240,
также у него полный привод, в отличии от переднего он может не разогнаться до 220 или 240

You never got it up to max speed though. I had mine up to 156 in Texas in the straights last year. Mine was tuned and modded slightly to a little over 300hp but still that was all it had.
what mods do you have? i'm getting a 2016 2.0t fusion and have no idea what mods to do never owned a 2.0t before
@@breslinheil8300 good mods for the ecoboost are, k&n intake cobb tuner, cpe downpipe and exhaust all together is about 2k 👌 their are plenty of mods(steeda, cpe, livernoise are some companies that offer)

I laughed when he put it in neutral by accident
I don't think it was by accident. Looks like he was done with the aggressive sport mode driving on the highway and needed to change to conservative drive mode within town, so he switched to neutral and then drive. He could have just easily have turned off sport mode by hoding down the S button again to deactivate sport mode.
