I've had a 2006 FZ6 since new. 26,000 miles on it right now. Never had an issue with it, 45-55 mpg, loves running on 87 octane ethanol free fuel. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
It's nice being able to slow down by dabbing the rear brake which you do on an fz 6 but the best thing is that it's a soft comfy tourer AND a hard-edged racer. Mine's done 53k and feels like a new bike. You can get them for less than £1500 on ebay. I wouldn't sell mine cos it's only worth peanuts plus I love it. Fantastic bikes.
With my current 'experience' (20 hrs incl. driving lessons) I wouldn't dare to go that fast in between cars. Also, I am still very conservative when it comes to overtaking. Still gaining confidence on the road. But already, I had a few fun rides with my fz6. Definitely a fine bike and always nice to beginners.
you all prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the login password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Imran Layton thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Hey mate i thought only we Polish people do the overtaking between cars on red light. Greetz from Poland Europe fz6 owner wish you a good bike season our has just ended. Cheers
After 2 sv 650s, god i loved that bike ! I want to change rythme and sound and i will maybe buy this one for the every day and all around using i will use
Yeah loving it. My first dedicated road bike after road/trail. It’s really comfortable and more than enough get up for me at the moment. Rode it to Toowoomba and back from North Bris on Saturday and it was perfect. Great review by the way!
I ride an FZ6; it's my second bike. It can be tame at low RPMs, but I can't imagine a brand new rider handling the power the bike can put out at higher RPMs. Some people swear it's a great starter, but I wouldn't recommend hopping on it until you're comfortable on two wheels.
SatanikanataS yes! and I might end up dead somewhere cuz I gotta practice before I do anything worth the drive. I legit mean down to the store and back until I get it down I don't wanna die or ruine my bike.
Ravgard The Blue find an empty parking lot and ride around in circles for a few days. Stay light on the wrist for a while, because the FZ6 will bite if you're not careful. Don't die, and keep the shiny side up!

How did that work out? About to sell my clapped out sv650 01 for a clean fz6
Mate, I’m pretty sure I own this bike now! How long did you have it?
Really?!? Small world. I had it for about 9 months before going to the litre bike. Not bad the old FZ6, you liking it?

SatanikanataS this is the bike I'm going to get in the next few weeks
Ravgard The Blue that's great. You're going to love it! Are you getting it in blue, the fastest color?
