I’m from Malaysia and we’re also have a lockdown here.Goodluck for your trips in Indonesia ! Make sure to travel to Bromo Mountain in East Java,Indonesia ‘cause it’s absolutely amazing !
Hi Kimberly and Jordy, just now there is vaccine on the payment basis. You can find it at KIMIA FARMA. You can ask the hotel officer or you can ask to Kimia Farma directly or check on Google
We have a lot struggle especially in Jakarta. A lot of expat were told to go back to their country by their embassy bcs if you are positive and have a symptom it is hard to get an available hospital bcs every hospital now full. Thank you for taking the vaccine! And raise the awareness about how important to get the vaxx for you and the society ❤
I'm sorry you have to experience this struggle, but I think in train station like Gambir and Pasar Senen they provide vaccination for urgent travel. Btw Jordy has a cool hair flow, enjoy Indonesia guys
You mostly have no chance to wait when crossing the street. Just wave your hands while raising them. We mostly do that, otherwise the vehicles keep running
You can now get vaccines from Kimia Farma, it's not free, around $30 one dose. Go to their website or contact centre 1500-255 or go to Soekarno Hatta airport, they have vaccination site for traveler now
an informative video, thank you for sharing this guys! Sadly the fact is, indonesian government's rules are always confusing, not only for foreigners but also for locals... they change rules like in a minute before the due date and practically is a mess one.
Lucky you meet a doctor there! the doctors in private hospital usually have better english and explanation. KTP is an indonesian ID card, and NIK is the serial number printed on it. I think thailand is also doin pretty the similar thing about the rules getting there ( i read their tourism website)
I am in Bali and awaiting news to be vaccinated also. I really think it should be the responsibility of the different consulates/embassies for foreigners staying abroad. Indonesia is a massive country and should naturally prioritize its citizens. I contacted the British Consulate on 3 occasions and they were most unhelpful and are offering zero assistance for their citizens. I really struggle to understand what their role is behind the new fortress building they occupy in Jakarta. They also do not answer their phones!
@@bliss6495 Really?? Any particular branch of Kimia Farma? This is new to me and haven’t heard anything about this on Facebook communities. I would be delighted to pay for it as I don’t think it’s right for Indonesia to cover the cost.
@@wrd980 Recently, the government has allowed Kimia Farma (state-owned company) to sell vaccines acknowledged by the government. Right now, the vaccines in Indonesia are only from China, UK and US. You can browse the information about this, there are many in English. You can contact a Kimia Farma drugstore nearby in Bali when it will be available, Kimia Farma drugstores is everywhere. Just put "telepon Kimia Farma" in Google search engine, it will give you a map of Kimia Farma locations nearby and the telephones. I am sorry I cannot give further assistance since I am in Jakarta
a little note, vaccines are all free in indonesia, not only for the 150 lucky people of that day. what they mean is they have 150 walk-in manual registration quota for the day, in addition to people who have already registered online to get vaccinated there on that day. all free.
Yes mostly small hospital or local clinic only provide vaccine for people who live around. So, if you are non residence better to get vaccine in a big hospital. Even for Indonesian who has KTP (ID Card), they can't get vaccine if they aren't registered as a local there or don't have certificate of employment from their company (the office must be in that city as well/same region with clinic). It is not only in Jakarta, but other cities. You're so lucky got vaccine just in the 2nd try, there are a lot of Indonesian out there who have to wait more than a month or still struggle just to get a vaccine even they are vulnerable group. Bali may be quite different case coz there are a lot of digital nomad and tourism spot. Make sense the rules always change coz the outbreak of covid 19 in Indonesia, actually its already announced several days before implemented. But the rules is still make sense than you have to quarantine 14 days like in Thailand or Korea.
Not anymore. Only need KTP (id card) register on line through application then they will tell you to come on what date and what time. On the day it only took 30 minutes to que
Take care of your health guys.. Indonesia is changing seasons from the rainy season to the dry season.. so the weather is not good, causing many people to get flu.
I think u guys should rest for like one week bcs after get vaccinated our body is getting low and the virus is easily come to our body so yeah pls stay safe guys! Indonesia need to be free from the virus too ^^ And fyi so many ppl after get vaccine and still go everywhere they get the virus... and the virus is more dangerous if u already get vaccine. So pls pls stay safe and follow the health protocol 😊

Hmm, one is vaccinated and one is not. Sounds like Jordy didn't think there was any benefit until he realised this would stop him from travelling. Foreigners can't travel to Bali soon without being fully vaccinated. What a drama. In Australia we can't leave to just travel for leisure unless it's to New Zealand.
Yes, so much drama about it. I actually went back home to California several months ago without Jordy and got the vaccine there, so he didn’t have the same opportunity.
The government regulation is changing in a second, because they have to act fast to respond the Covid spiking. Indonesia will make the vaccine to be paid for certain people. I guess for foreigner you should pay... Sorry for your bad experience. But that's why you travel to third world country, this thing will and do happen.
