Because general public prefer mainstream general hook song rather than unique songs like almost all NCT songs~
Ever since NCT U debuted with The 7th Sense I've had this feeling that NCT is so way ahead of their time musically and conceptually. Honestly when Limitless and My First & Last dropped they should have become huge, but they were underappreciated. And, now with Superhuman being one of the best-produced pop songs, in general, they aren't even getting a fraction of the praise they deserve. The world truly is not ready for an act like NCT.

Edit: chill guys it's just a joke. Although SM been promoting NCT, they didn't seem to have any clear vision for nct and only promote certain members. Even NCT themselves struggling to explain their group concept. But their songs are all bops so don't sleep on them.

superhuman, for me, is # 1 of nct's best songs and i'm so lucky to have been born in this era and have known this masterpiece. I get so angry because it was so underrated/wronged. people don't know what they lose when ignore this song.
Yesssss superhuman is nct’s #1 song for me as well. It holds a special place in my heart not only because it’s my favorite song by them but also because it was the song that made me stan them. It’s such an incredible production that deserved so much more than it got.

Honestly, Superhuman is the best KPOP's song this year, so far (alongside Highway to Heaven obviously which is one of the best song ever). It's sad that this well-made song is underappreciated by many people including by nctzens themselves.

I literally know nothing about music, but I can sense the greatness of this song. the melody and harmony, the sample used, the kinda strange structure, the timing and space and silence used, ugh, basically everything about this is just ......................... *chef kiss*
but the thing that really caught me offguard is the bridges in this song. I expect that they're done with the first bit of bridge (jaehyun - doyoung's part), but nooope, we got that johnny mark taeyong haechan taeil part, like .......... asdhfjkfkgl whyyy.

Teach me how to be one of you! I love all nct songs but I don't like Superhuman, I can't feel any emotions in singing, some notes sound a bit annoying (for me), I don't feel transitions between different members' parts as a result the song seems to be cut into fragments. I genuinely want to appreciate the song, but 😢
@@lonelygrass5041 the thing is, the song ain't emotional so you really can't expect to feel much of emotions there but saying that you don't feel any emotion from their singing, that's kinda sketchy. But anyway, I'm not an expert but I do think that the song is mostly flat but I don't think that's lacking. I think that's intentional.
Also, the transition is a bit experimental but not in a bad way though. Maybe because it's not like the usual kpop song, that why the transition might be odd to you. If you do listen to other rare kpop songs (not the mainstream) you'll get used to it.
