    The narrator's pronunciations make me bristle. You could also play the Belle Epoch drinking game, a shot every time she says it.

      Me too. Is it an artificial voice, do you think?

      The first time she said it, and even subsequently, I heard it as the 'Belly Puck' LOL It dawned on me eventually. But that did not take from my enjoyment of the video.
      I didn't go throught to the end. What I would have like to know from the start is whether there is air conditioning on this historic boat. Having been to Egypt, many times on cruises on modern vessels, I know the terrible heat one can expect there. Also, are there private facilitied (toilets and showers) in canbins, apart from suites.
      sFinally it is A-gathat. Not agAth - stress on the second syllable. It should be on the first.
      Even so, a lovely reminder of happy holidays in Egypt and on the Nile.
      Thank you.

      Late comment but no, she pronounces Belle Époque correctly, perfect French pronunciation! The, is it an artificial voice or a real one I do not know ! They do speak French alongside the show and I am French, so maybe it is natural!

      Not enough information on anything other than her desire to experience white colonial privilege lol

      @KimmyQueen Do you ever get tired of being jealous, resentful, or envious?
      It's open now to anyone who can afford it, not just rich white brits chasing eastern exoticism in far flung colonial holdings, plus the money goes to everyday Eygptians now on top of that.

    I agree with everything that Mr Swirly said,would also like to have seen what bathroom facilities if any. Or is one expected to bath in the Nile?

    • @decoboy320
      @decoboy320 5 років тому +1

      Of course there are bathroom facilities. Each of the 18 cabins and 5 suites has their own!

    • @decoboy320
      @decoboy320 5 років тому +1

      The 5 suites on board definitely each have their own bathrooms.

    He’s not exaggerating. It was initially built for the Egyptian Royal Family in the 1880’s, then later repurposed for cruises in the 1920’s….

      Assuming they haven't been disposed, like other royal families in the surrounding countries, do they have a new ship now for royal tours?

    My girl's inability to say Agatha correctly is so cringe to me.... No one told her how to say Agatha correctly?

  • @KimmyQueen
    @KimmyQueen 2 роки тому +4

    I would have liked to see the bathrooms, less about her colonial fantasies and more about the actual boat specs as well as what it costs and the food? I mean... Tours? Pretty video that is mostly fluff

      It's a paddle steamer. The ones I have travelled on are driven by propellors. These are certainly not steamers. Do watch the film/movie Death on the Nile.
