it's not that dumb, sajak said she would have won an additional 10,000, bringing her total to almost 20,000. the puzzle looked pretty much solved and the 20,000 is usually enough to win the game. so it's pretty risky but it could've been game set match if she pulled it off.
People can be greedy, when you are going for a risk its s a 5050 chance of it being good or bad, and obviously Pat Sajak knows which of the mystery is the good one, and the bad one, even when it makes an oh no before it is reveled to the camera, even through it was shown to the audience watching on tv.
Okay she was risking heaps but she could have won another $10K BUT... having said that she was so far ahead of the others she didn't need it.... BUT... having said that they were so low on their scores it probably didn't matter if she went back to Zero
Her odds of winning an extra $10K were 50%--that's not an insane risk. Her decision was actually very intelligent. She had a 50% chance of pulling way ahead--and if she got a bankrupt, it's not like she would be completely out of the game. These game shows are all about playing the odds.
@djcchs2004 But it was also a prize puzzle!! So if she got the 10K + 7,750 (not taking the 2K, to try) + the Prize Puzzle, it could of been over $27K win & put the game out of reach. Besides, the money is not theirs until they solve the puzzle. So there are basically playing with house money. Big risk = Big reward. I would of taken that risk!!
Kallee (Bluevale): "(slaps William Fisher) Spoiled brat! Now I'll probably have nightmares for the rest of my life because of you!" Hiro Hamada (Disney's Big Hero 6): "Nice shot, Kallee! I haven't seen that slap for a while!" Kallee (Bluevale): "(chuckles nervously) Thanks, Hiro." Fred (Scooby Doo Two: Monsters Unleashed): "What do we do now?" Ashley (Resident Evil Four): "Leon! Kallee! Jonathan! Twilight Sparkle! Dean! Vivian! Hiro! Iris! Emanuel! Anna! Sonic! Courtney! Fred! Velma! Shaggy! Daphne! Scooby Doo! Help!" Shaggy (Scooby Doo Two: Monsters Unleashed): "Zoinks! Like that sounded like Ashley From Resident Evil Four!" Needle (Battle For Dream Island): "And she's calling for help! We better go save her! Come on!"
Four words: Oh Lee.
Now that is what I call the downside of double or nothing.
She should have just taken the money and not gone for the mystery bad move by her.
Tough luck on the mystery wedge.
puzzle solution = 2020 in a nutshell
I find Bankrupts so funny!
Two words: Poor Lee.
Satan: Mwahahahahaha! Now I own your soul for all of eternity!

Except, she would have replaced her current winnings with the $10,000, not added $10,000.
regis, what does the scouter say about how much she is risking?
Its over 9000!!!
