It's nice to see Arthur's branch line as it's quite rare to see it sometimes. And the story was great and I could tell some parts that were inspired by other ghosts stories :)
The norramby line is stepney's line and fishing village is in harwick. The reason is because engines go through the little western to reach fishing village also harwick is a fishing town
This simply has got to be my favorite episode of Stories from Sodor since it's finally released. At least we got to see who that black ghost engine was and a great, but depressing backstory about Lucifer.
Honestly, when Lucifer makes that little toot of his whistle- it's kinda cute and very nice. He's showing that he actually realizes what he did was wrong, and he actually shows that he realizes what he did, instead of just backing away into the darkness. Yes, I'm making this comment in 2021, a 2021 comment on a 2019 video.
Edward had mentioned that he was one of few engines to stand up to Lucifer and be able to set him straight, so after setting things straight I doubt he would come time and time again during bad weather!
Awesome job man I absolutely love the story my favorite part was Alfred I just thought you worked perfectly here and this was just awesome and really in tune just amazing well done to you dude
Good idea on making this take place on Arthur's branchline. It's rarely even seen in other series and I'm pretty sure that it never appeared in the official series, it may have been seen in around season 10. It's a breath of fresh air seeing a new ghost story, one that doesn't include Timothy. Really good sets as well, particularly Crovan's Gate, Vicarstown and The Fishing Village!
Y’know this whole story is kind of ironic if you think about Victor Tanzig’s Stories of Sodor. Because in that series, Arthur is the ghost, but in this one he sees the ghost.
@@jamesfracasse8178well a version of Arthur that was originally part of the Midis but was very boastful, one night he was speeding during a winter stormy night and crashed which killed all of his passengers and himself. In the Ghost episode he would reappear as a ghost with Timothy’s model haunting the nights. “Lucifer” is a real name, and isn’t actually mentioned in the Bible. In fact, it has Latin origins, meaning “bringer of light.” Quite a far cry from Satan, don’t you think?
i found this episode very interesting as Edward tells Arthur about the history of his branch line and the tank engine who used to work on it during the early days
I doubt you'll see this but i love the little scene at the end where Lucifer face returns and is at peace knowing that Arthur takes pride in the Norramby branchline like he once had, although with how much he cares about the line i doubt he will truly leave but he won't cause any harm im sure
Great ghost story. It's nice to see some elaboration on Arthur's branch line, which hasn't explained a lot. BTW, what locomotive was Lucifer meant to be based on?
Arthur is so under use in the Thomas universe only you, enterprising and Jim andVictor Tanzig do anything with him. he is only ever had two episodes in season seven I think. Thank you for doing something with him.
this is really nice the story, the sets and even the lighting!! but... was the name choice really a good choice? i mean, considering it's the name of the devil......
yeah, mistake on my part, had a brain dead. But Lucifer also means “bearer of light” or “morning star,” refers to his former splendor as the greatest of the angels.
Amazing sets, custom models, and a fantastic ghost story! Your series is among my favourite model series, great job! :-D I hope you don't mind me asking, but where does the little ditty from 9:47 - 9:56 come from? I don't recall hearing it in any classic series episodes.
Iron Horse 32415 Glad you enjoyed it, that ditty you heard was from Mavis M’s Diesel theme and you can faintly hear the ditty at the end of the episode “Diesel does it again”
Everything was awesome. It was really cool to be a part of this team!
Great job Enterprisingengine93!

A very impressive episode. I was especially looking forward to this one when I recorded my lines for it.
This definitely has the feel of Tanzig's work with a creative punch to it, great job
That was spectacular. Haven’t seen a good original ghost story in a while. This was great. Good job my man!

Excellent work, man! Thanks for having me as Bill and Ben!
You were great! Can you please voice Bill and Ben in my series, "Sodor's Beloved Railway"? I'll let you know when I need lines.
Since trackmaster was my childhood Thomas toy line I have nothing but respect for all the hard work in the sets and engines
This was good. I think it would be funny if Lucifer kept returning every bad storm even after Edward talked to him tho
Edward had mentioned that he was one of few engines to stand up to Lucifer and be able to set him straight, so after setting things straight I doubt he would come time and time again during bad weather!
beautiful stuff
That stormy night was also when Henry's forest was destroyed too what a uncomfortable horrible double blow to N.W. RailRoad!

This episode very similar to engine 17 from the jimmy the jinty series especially the ending where Edward is talking to the ghost.
Loosely based on Engine 17 (Just reasoning bit)
Fascinating work! The lighting for the night time scenes really blew me away.
21:41-I saw Lucifer. But why was he smiling? Did he reform?
He was smiling because he let go of the past
