Seven minutes of a northwest journey across this beautiful country, showing fiery sunsets, tranquil Crater Lake and rural America. Interstates are fast but highways are memorable; constantly changing landscapes from the Mojave desert to the plush forests of the Pacific Northwest. All because our daughter called and said, "When are you coming for a visit?" Gerald and I were on the road two hours later. That's retirement, elevated!

Sorry Joe, I just learned how to see these comments. This is a beautiful country we have. We spent our working years on the eastern side of the USA. Moving to Nevada after retirement has been amazing.
