For the tall pantry cabinet, do you think that you could've installed the legs *after* hanging it on the wall? My cabinet with legs is exactly the height of my ceiling so I won't have clearance to flip it after adding the legs.
I left it open for a little broom slot. If I did want to close it I would have screwed 4 scrap pieces of 2 x 4 on either side of the opening, rip a strip of fridge panel to the right size and then nailed the panel up with a nail gun… good luck!

Yes you can as long as your rail has enough anchor screws it takes 100% of the weight. If you have to you can cut the legs shorter as well
