I cried when you did 🥺 I know this exact feeling and felt it with both of my babies. Postpartum is freakin hard hormones, stress, lack of sleep everything affects it. I hope Lanes jaundice got fixed I was in the hospital for two whole weeks while my baby was on the nicu 😢but it will pass. Don’t be afraid to ask ur mom for help so u can get some sleep I’m sure ur parents would be so happy too. ❤

You’re doing great, the emotions and tears are totally normal ❤ my husband and I took it in turns to hold our son during the night while he slept on us during the first couple of weeks, as he hated being put down too. It worked well for us because we both got a decent stretch of sleep. Might be worth trying 🥰 xx

I’m not sure what kind of bassinet you have but we had to change ours to one that moved back and forth and vibrated and my baby loved it, even just the vibration helped so much. I also cried a lot after he was born and I had no idea why because I loved him so much. It’s just a lot all at once you’ll get there the crying doesn’t last long 😊

The first few days were very hard and a lot of crying but I have started to feel more like myself and we are getting into a better routine!

Aww Sarah I know exactly how you’re feeling. I really felt this and I still feel this sometimes almost three months later. Being a mom is so hard and all consuming, but I can already tell how amazing you are at it! 🩷

Congratulations on your new baby. Matt is having a great time with him. Wonder why the hospital don't give a list for the excepted mother's. You both will be fine. Hang in there. Hugs to the both of you. ❤

That hospital is great for providing those essentials for you hospital I’ve been in after a c section we get what we need . As in having to continuously let nurses know we need more diapers, formula stuff for recovery everything and they do that so that you are not taking anything home I’m guessing very uncomfortable to give birth in the Bronx

ahh that is a shame! My hospital had everything fully stocked and when we were leaving the nurse put together a massive bag of a bunch of goodies!
