Same, AVP aliens are hands down the most badass and menacing predators ever seen on screen. They are hulked out and don't have the lanky look on some of the newer neca predators, and I'm going to get flak for this, I also thought their tiger-like roars and grunts were extremely badass.
my favorite thing about this figure is the box art on the front is just the Hot Toys figure
I remember getting the original version it was awesome. Then when the ultimate version came out it did not disappoint
Love'em! I wish the dreds were longer, I dont love the gold masks clashing with mostly gray fig, which btw I think I like the more subdued colors, makes those ones stand out and a nice change from the brighter colors.
I’ve been collecting the lost tribe ultimate figures for so long now, patiently waiting to complete the tribe and it feels so amazing to finally have this guy being the last one. This is probably my favorite from the bunch too, also loved this guy. Hoping to see you review the new Feral Predator too, he’s a phenomenal figure just picked him up today. Easily one of the best Preds they’ve done to date

I honestly like both skin tone looks, some of my favorite predators are colorful like the Golden Angel and Lost Predator. But I do love a classic color scheme too
I don't belive Neca has a bad Predator. With the exception of that line that goes from the forearm to the triceps which is super fragile they are near to a 10 every time. Thanks for the review.

I just got a bootleg version. The shoulder canon doesn't rotate, the blast effect is impossible to put into the canon, the wire at the knee snapped immediately, the sheath for the machete also came off the belt with minimal effort, and the upper mandibles are a lot shorter on the head. And the figure looks a bit taller, but that could just be me. I'm not pissed as it was essentially the price of a pizza, but still a bit disappointing.
I like the more subdued and colorful ones equally as long as theyve got a cool mask, armor and weaponry.
I rather fancy the more subdued colours as shown here with the Elder Predator. And yes, I am quite the elder myself. [😂]
The unmasked head is my favourite, mainly because of the eyes; those eyes are exceptionally exquisite. And between the 2 masked heads, I fancy the slimmer masked head. By the way, those golden masks remind this old doctor of the Bioncle masks.

My only complaint is that the horn detail on the face isn't painted brighter to stand out more.
I use the light up mask. I use the slim one on the golden angel. I honestly use him as a extra predator on the shelf

1:12 and 1:10... yes. the 6 inchers are getting big and the 7 inchers are never consistent.
A month ago i had one predator figure, ultimate jungle hunter, now ive got 5, i love discovering a different local collectibles store but it gets expensive.....
Agreed fantastic figure and also sleeker mask is my fav. The golden angel sleeker mask is from his younger comic appearance when he gets the pistol from Raphael Adolini a pirate in "Predator: 1718" and the 2nd mask portrait with leds eyes is actually a mask belonging to a completely different predator from another darkhorse comic "kindred". When they released the golden angel younger ver figure it also included two masked head options, one the accurate golden angel mask and also the inaccurate dif predator kindred mask, no idea why Neca keeps including that kindred mask option with vers of this elder lost tribe predator. No complaint but is interesting.
I do agree the portions on the box art looks even better then the figure bc he looks more intimidating
Neca even from day one has killed it with the predators. Even nowadays the detail, and paint make them feel like collectibles and shelf display worthy. It sucks that the price has gone up but when you compare them to other “toys” they still are unmatched. My biggest comparison in quality over time would be the mcfarlen halo line line vs the modern mcfarlen mk line, and the original neca predators vs the recently released ones, the quality has stayed for neca.
I think green is very reptile which is a good thing with the design just like xenomorphs and insects but the grey is too freaking smooth. I have shaman and hes little too monotone compared the elder in this video or AVP but im deeply craving this guy. My favrotie though and it is because its different and i feel gives it age is the way they did alpha predator with the silver and purple and white dreads but i lean twords grey i just feel its true to characters with distinguisted age and the paint job come out better
I'm surprised you haven't really had any hip joint issues with this set. I hate these hip joints. It's always hit or miss when u get them. They are so gummy. That half the time the legs don't get to move freely. Since they are just reusing the jungle and city hunter bodies for this while series,I wish they just updated the hip joints. I love neca predators but the reuse of almost old molds is so annoying.
I think the blue one had a hip problem. Been a while since i filmed it though
Woo picked this figure up super happy with it fixed the leg problem as well took a few hair dryer heat ups but I was able to pop the joint and fix it all up and the wrist blades are super loose 😂plastic on the gauntlet is messed up. So can't fix that unfortunately.
Pulled the wrist blades out of the wrist gauntlet threw some painters tape around the end just enough to tighten the loose fit. If anyone is interested that's how I fixed mine. 😊
I never saw that before-his left gauntlet/self destruct device looks like it is damaged/melted, maybe this is a hint that the elder kiilled the alien, we saw skull of in the ship at the end
Got this guy a few months back and he might be my favorite.. to answer your question I don’t care about the colors. What is your favorite predator that you have reviewed? Also,. Do you have any videos of your figure collection and display? If so can we get a video if you ever find time?

depends how it actually turns out... might be technically worth it but certainly not for me.

Hope we get a Ultimate AVP Line next with Scar, Celtic, Chopper and the AVP Elder.

Honestly for the size and the paint job I really don’t mind the limited articulation on Neca. Not like macfarlane where it’s all garbage

I like my Predator skin tone; subdued. Personally, I do not like the neon colors.
I want to know why that mask is the same as the Golden Angels? It's actually because the golden angel is a younger Predator 2 Elder Predator in fact the entire comic for the golden angel predator was made to describe how the Elder Predator received that flintlock pistol!
