Love this so much. Looks easier than it is... the squaring up was what I had to learn. Thanks for the very clear instructions! So modern and great to use for a quilt for my menfolk!
🙌 Awesome! Yes, it is an easy process and we hope the tutorial helps you step by step to make it a breeze! Thanks so much for watching and happy quilting!❤️
I never dreamed this could b as easy as u make it look! The design looks way too difficult to try just by looking at it. Now that you've shown how easy it is I can't wait to make it!!
I'm using these blocks as a 5" border in my current southwestern quilt. Your tutorial was so helpful! Easy to follow. Great tutorial, so I've subscribed to your channel. Thank you!
If you pay attention to how your pieces fit together and press your seams opposite so that they nest, it will all go together super easy with everything matching and meeting up perfectly.
I headed to mount scrapmore! What a great way to use up scraps, especially if you want to make some charity quilts! Thank you so much for the very easy instructions!
Thank you for all the patterns that you share. I sew & crochet for our local NICU. You give me great idea's. They ask for 32-36 inches square. Thank you!
What a beautiful quilt. Thank for sharing and making it easy to make. I’m planning my first trip to Vegas in the spring and your store is first on my list.
This is a beautiful way to make a quick quilt and aren’t we all so tired of using squares? Making a baby quilt with this for a recent arrival and it really goes quickly. Great video - friendly and good instructions. THANKS, Brody. 🤗📚🐾
you prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Julian Braden i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Awesome quilt. I couldn’t figure out how you were going to get there from a half square triangle. This is great. I will definitely try this one. Thanks a bunch!
As you can see we are behind on the replies. I am trying to catch up and stay that way. I hope you have found the answer to any questions you had and thanks for watching!
If you square up to 9 inches you can then cut at three inches , easier math and more efficient, for the people like me who don’t math fractions well!❤️👍🏻
Another great tutorial. I look forward to them each week. As a suggestion, I think it would be nice to have background info about Brody and Tiacum (probably not spelled correctly) on the website. I'd be interested in knowing how long they have been sewing and why did they decide to start doing tutorials. Thanks guys.
Thank you for the comment and suggestion. We are actually working on a video that goes into detail about all of that. Thank you for watching! ~~Take Care, Brody
Thank you! Beautiful fabrics. I've never made a delectable mountain this way, looking forward to giving it a try with one of my lone layer cakes. Much simpler version, but still striking! BJ

You can make as many blocks as you need to get the size you need for a Queen...or 'close' to the size of Queen...then just add border to make it the exact size...
Hi Stephanie, This quilt is super versatile. You can continue adding blocks to rows until you reach your desired size. Thank you for watching and I hope you decide to make one! ~~Take Care, Brody
Allowing for the 1/4 inch seam, cutting the strips into 2 3/8" strips should give you 4 strips that are all the same size. I hope this helps! Happy quilting!

Do you alternate the direction of the seams to nest,?

How would one go about making this a queen size? I have a daughter getting married in April that would just love this but I'm still a novice.
If I square to 9.5" , what dimension did I start with? Did I miss that?
Does "layer cake" mean 10"?
For all questions about our live sales, please text our UA-cam team at 702-280-4552 and we are happy to help.
Hi, can I use 8 inches squares for this project as I many 8 inches please let me know
Yes, you could...you would just have smaller finished blocks...going smaller also gets 'fiddly' but I don't think 8" is too small to start out with...
8" would work just fine! You will obviously have a little smaller finished block but it will look great. Hope you try it soon! ~~Take Care, Brody
Maybe I can do this one.😮
We hope so.!!
Do you have pressing instructions?
Yes, All of the instructions are in the pattern above! Thanks for watching! ~~Take Care, Brody
I have just purchased the material to make this

Why 2 3/8"?
Allowing for the 1/4 inch seam, cutting the strips into 2 3/8" strips should give you 4 strips that are all the same size. I hope this helps! Happy quilting!
