yeah, i think its more for light hail, the kind of hail that dont crack open your skull like a peanut, although in the south light hail basically never happen
I guess my question would be why wouldn’t you have put the cover on hours before the skull crushing hailstorms with all the heads up we get from news, weather apps and social media?
That cover has a hole in it; on the top left front near the headlight. (Watch the video again: the hole/tear can be seen several times in the close-up shots.) Also, I'm certain it will not withstand any wind more than what we just saw. Those ropes tied to the rim definitely will not hold; a few tugs then the metal edges of the rims will cut through the thin nylon ropes.
ua-cam.com/users/shortsc07m7MUFDUQ?feature=share Here’s the wind test, and it looks like it’s holding up with the ropes tied to the rims. Looks like more than few tugs to me with pretty high winds.
@@TheCarArmor send that thing to wyoming and i’ll put it to the test! nothing works in wyoming period! we have wind driven hail as well as hurricane force winds here. to bad you dont have thicker and more coverage on it
still looks nice if not too expensive. i took plastic-filled water jugs last winter to hold down a tarp! it still did not do it perfectly but sure was a great improvement to add to any tie also.
Wow the Hail Protector that inflates covers more and actually seems cheaper from what I've seen or heard. This one looks pretty cheesy and real expensive for not even full coverage.
I had the Hail Shelter System before. What a Joke, they said it would fit my Silverado. Well it fit about 40 percent of the Truck, all sorts of areas open to hail. I tried to get a refund, finally had to go through my CC company and file a dispute, the Hail Shelter Co. would not respond after they got payment. STAY AWAY FROM HAIL SHELTER IN CALIFORNIA. They are a rip off.
Preparation, just like you can’t pass exams, work or anything else with out being prepared, you get weather updates from Most news, social media, weather apts , so you don’t have your put it on at 15-20mph winds.
Actually, you would have to know how to roll cover up, untie all the secure ropes, and assuming you have an extra large vehicle , the unrolled cover is 21 feet long and 14 feet wide. My guess is not so easy.
when the hailstones are big enough to damage your car, they also big enough to crack your skull. I can live with a dented car but not without a head.

Wear a bike helmet

@@TheCarArmor Sorry but here in Australia, our BOM is not much better than my eyes observation😂
Awesome, how does it protect against the sun heat? Does it keep the car interior cool?
@@MrThomasAnderson7892 yes it does as the material is a foam material that serves as an insulator against heat
@@TheCarArmor Thank you.
Texas anyone.
Oklahoma everybody

Should give opening option near car door so that i can cover the car and get inside when I'm on road

Cheaper doesn’t always mean better, but 2 totally different products.
Ok so what level of protection does it give with baseball size hail?
Not very good
With baseball sized hail, it'll protect your car from getting wet.
Well, at least initially. Lol
You’re looking for the wrong product of that is what you are worried about. Build a carport or garage.
Ive had hail damage from sideways blown hail ..(door panels) not all hail falls straight down
Yes sir we actually now make them come lower to the door, thank you sir.
Is there anti theft cable and 🔒
What protects the cover from the deadbeats that don’t want to pay for their own?
Great question, but unless they know how to fold it , it’s a jumbo parachute. 🤣🤣
Let the wind from the storm takes it it will be easy off for sure 😂😂😂
