I always love to see nerdy and geeky reaction videos, because it can be a way of feeling like I am somehow bonding with you (reactors in general.) Seeing other people loving something I love, watching them feel the way I feel, is precious to me. I am appalled that there are so many negative people out there; as you say, constructive criticism is well and good, but hatefulness for hatefulness' sake is a waste of everything to me. Yours were some of the first reaction videos I got to see, and some of my favorites, and though I am more a lurker than perhaps I ought to be, I still think you two are awesome, and I will look forward to what you do in the future. Also, anyone who thinks either of you is ugly is either delusional, blind, or stupid: you are both beautiful. If I were in your area and twenty years younger, and you were maybe a little blind in one eye, I might make a pass at one of you.
I've enjoyed watching a lot of your videos, thank you for making them & sorry you've been getting grief in the comments. It's always a little sad when you start something with a lot of passion then it becomes a chore, so will look forward to seeing you make videos you're passionate about in the future - if you choose to.

Ah, ladies....I remember when i first found you way WAY back when you started reacting not long before the 50th anniversary for Who and your honesty and your unabashed love for the series drew me in. I never once considered your videos reactions, I considered them videos made by a couple of friends sharing what they loved with others. And I believe you've reiterated that here in this video. Mary, you KNOW I want to hear more about your love of Tolkien and novels and pretty much everything to do with your nerdom, and Amy....well, you know I you have my sword. o shieldmaiden. Being older, I get a tiny bit protective of young types like you and don't wish any harm befall you and want all the best for you in your endeavors. I would personally suggest you try something like a podcast that you also record, say for instance with the cameras you have and just *talk* about the stuff that you're currently into. You could recap episodes you've seen (so then you CAN talk about the bits people complain you missed) and also have more time to elaborate on WHY you like the bits that you do. I'd even suggest you turn it into a podcast.....and I'll put forth my current crush of a show in The Orville forward as something I think you'd both love for its smutty humor but also very positive-outlooking views on things, very reminscent of older Trek shows. I am not going ANYWHERE as far as this channel is concerned. It warms my heart to see younger folk embracing things like Doctor Who and Tolkien and Game of Thrones because it reminds me that people still hope and dream and want the best and want creativity and positivity in their lives, despite the world media yelling otherwise. You are both gorgeous mature young women embracing who you are and what you are in this day and age and how could I honestly NOT support that? Carry on being you. I'll be here watching.

I hope one day you guys come back and do a reaction to the classic Doctor Who story The Three Doctors, which had Jon Pertwee, Patrick Troughton and William Hartnell together in one story :) Sadly Hartnell's health hadnt improved at all in the years since he left the show, and they had to get creative to include him, but its still so cool to see them all together :)

Destructive criticism is never about you. It's always about those providing it. You can more or less avoid morally/psychologically challenged people in real life, but never in comment sections. The best ep of Doctor Who this series was Rosa. I like Jodie Whittaker a lot but (though to be fair Resolution wasn't bad) she needs a better head writer.

Men always tell me no self respecting man would be caught dead in public with me because I'm fat, ugly, and a cripple. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
Why they haven't posted... They grew up. They were college students having fun, then life got serious and they had to grow up. It happens to all of us. They may not even be friends anymore, not that I think they had a falling out so much as they grew apart because their lives took them to different places. TV series get cancelled, bands break up, people develop other interests, etc. It was entertaining while it happened. I hope they are happy.
And? It’s their lives they do what they want with it. Just because you need them to actually give yourself something positive in your life, doesn’t mean you get to hate because they decided to stop.

Some people have a bit of a difficult way approaching reactors. They tell you to basically fake your reaction to certain scenes, they tell you how to edit it when reaction videos are basically a highlight reel of you reacting to a moment in the episode. If you're not as excited by a scene compared to others, that's okay. And it should be okay on the way you react because we're all different people. And the commenters can suck the fun out of making videos, especially if they sleep comfortably attacking people who work hard to put out videos. I'm so sorry you've had to put up with a lot of crap from people
Yeah I enjoy their reactions, regardless if its exciting or not. One thing I am happy with is these two are not one of those reactors that keep pausing or talk absolute bollocks about shit not related to what they are watching. Like a certain other reaction channel I know...

I don’t know much of the process, but there are some youtubers who partnered with others to edit their videos; whether they were paid or just friends. I’m an editor myself, but even I wouldnt think about being paid unless the videos were getting like hundreds of thousands of views lol. Some people may just edit for the credit and shout out? Idk, it might be a good thing to think about

Imagine you forget the name of a channel, it's like an old song, with a band you could identify, face by face, soon to be forgotten by the ravages of life, but 6 years later like the chime of two notes that rattle together a memory suddenly you realize, that yes, YES I REMEMBER, BUT WHAT IS THEIR NAME! And you despair in your mind as it's slowly losing its grasp of what came before, but in a stroke of genius, the world hands you the name of the band on a platter and you return to the familiar..... And you find they haven't posted in 4 years. **cries**

Small, but loud, percentage in any community is going to be an asshole just for the sake of being an asshole, or because nobody who raised them bothered to teach them how not to be. It's sad that these people can sour what could be a fun experience, but it's not like I'm immune. Recent comments from that asshole minority in doctor who and star wars fandoms have made me want to remove myself from these spaces too. Even is over 90% of them are perfectly fine and nice people. There's always the extremists who have invested so much of their time and emotional health to these works of fiction, that they get aggressive when the thing in their heads stops being what they want it to be. It's a shitty situation but we're humans. It's never been any different, and it will not change. Best you can do is defend yourself from this by keeping it at a distance, which is sad.
I came for the Doctor Who reaction videos and i've stayed because you two are just absolutely fabulous........ignore the hate it's toxic and just live your life on your terms....we only get one shot at it so don't have any regrets,i will be seeing you around social media and on here if you decide to put any content out

And the commenters can suck the fun out of making videos, especially if they sleep comfortably attacking people who work hard to put out videos. As for the difficulty with editing, have you ever thought of partnering up with someone to edit for you? I don’t know much of the process, but there are some youtubers who partnered with others to edit their videos; whether they were paid or just friends. I’m an editor myself, but even I wouldnt think about being paid unless the videos were getting like hundreds of thousands of views lol. Some people may just edit for the credit and shout out? Idk, it might be a good thing to think about

Small, but loud, percentage in any community is going to be an asshole just for the sake of being an asshole, or because nobody who raised them bothered to teach them how not to be. It's sad that these people can sour what could be a fun experience, but it's not like I'm immune. Recent comments from that asshole minority in doctor who and star wars fandoms have made me want to remove myself from these spaces too. Even is over 90% of them are perfectly fine and nice people. There's always the extremists who have invested so much of their time and emotional health to these works of fiction, that they get aggressive when the thing in their heads stops being what they want it to be. It's a shitty situation but we're humans. It's never been any different, and it will not change. Best you can do is defend yourself from this by keeping it at a distance, which is sad.
I came for the Doctor Who reaction videos and i've stayed because you two are just absolutely fabulous........ignore the hate it's toxic and just live your life on your terms....we only get one shot at it so don't have any regrets,i will be seeing you around social media and on here if you decide to put any content out
