I’ve got Jazzinc’s ‘89 batmobile on preorder. After seeing their work compared to the HT rerelease, I had to cancel my HT preorder and go with the Jazzinc version, which is going to be superior in every way. Love everything Joost is doing, and LOVE that he’s able to promote his great work on such a large platform!
Bought some dioramas and the 1966 Batmobile... Amazing quality and he is the nicest person. Thanks you so much. I wish the justice mobile was still available.
And for anyone. I don’t have a lot of space. But sideshow and Hot Toys figures need just THAT. What I do, every season I completely have a new show of my collection. Don’t try to put everything in one cabinet. Love ❤
Listen, this was an amazing hour and a quarter . Joost was awesome and Norm you always bring it! However.... I just wanted you (Norm) to move that 66 around so we could see it! I hope you took pics! Pleaase post!
The original is best imo... muscle power all the way... The 89 is also great... So that would be sweet to get next. Seeing this original batmobile though is like stepping in a time machine, the nostalgia 😀👌👍💯
Great interview Norm!!! Love Jazzinc!!! I have the Falcon cockpit and I love it! Love it!!!! I wish I could afford everything they make!!! But I am most definitely getting the X wing cockpit that is coming out next year!!
And that was over the original Ford pearl white and red paint for its two previous film roles. The Batmobile was a 1955 Ford Lincoln Futura concept car with greebies added. Barris also built four fibreglass replicas on Ford Galaxy chassis…
They also had a flat black or bat fur 1966 Batmobile. You can see it in promo shot with Adam West. I believe they had trouble with the paint flaking off.
Joost for me is the Dutch Bruce Wayne. A bit Max Verstappen also. Look at him talking. But at night he makes this beauty’s And also he couldn’t do this without his father.
That car is cold and I'm not a batman get, especially 66 version lol

Having the “Joostice Mobile”, I can say that it is a beautiful piece. BvS Batmobile is right there on top with the 89 Batmobile. I wish I’d have the space for the Batwing. Can only say congrats to those who can get one. And congrats to Joost!
@@JazzIncdioramas that’s how I call both my 1/6 and 1/12 versions 😁 Joostice Mobile. By the way Joost, that ultrasonic smoke from The Batman Batmobile, are you going to use that on the 1989 Batmobile as well? Also, the turbine will come out from the front like in Batman Returns, when Penguins goons sabotages the Batmobile? That would be fantastic if possible, but might be difficult to produce. Thanks!
There is just something about the 1966 Batmobile! Bithaday presents Corgi Batmobile, Christmas Corgi Batmobile and BatBoat with trailer, Easter basket Husky Batmobile. Always brings a smile and Happy thoughts. Ben Cooper Batman cloth Bat suit, Mego and Captain Action figures, my Blue Batman slippers from Sears, Batman and Robin Tin trash can, Ideal Batcave, 1966 Frisbee Batman..... I wish somebody/company would re make the 1966 Ideal Batcave and make it twice as large.
It's beautiful, but I still wonder, with all the detail work put into this model, to make it look as close to the original 1966 Batmobile as possible, why didn't they use silver wheels instead of chrome ones?
Definitely amazingly awesomely engineered automobile perfected 1/6Model of The Legend, The Mystique, The Mystery, The One ☝️ The Only, The Original One Of A Kind Copy Of right down into perfect detail. I was a fan of the show and the car from the beginning. The original flat black with white stripes was just so they could get some photos for pre-production. The photos were black and white anyway. Cars 2, 3 and 4 were fiberglass bodies struck from the steel #1 car. The flocking that was done after the show ended was to hide cracks in the fiberglass as a cheap and quick fix for exhibition purposes. I don't believe the #1 steel-bodied car was ever flocked. The #5 car that was based on a '58 Thunderbird and not built by Barris.
What was the original price for this product ? Stunningly beautiful..I have never cared for this iteration of the universe but this is an absolute amazing piece of art.
Sorry, but your guest is wrong about the original Batmobile built in 1965. I worked with George Barr is and his brother a few times and saw THAT car up close several times. 1st it was a 1956 Lincoln Futura, not a Ford and though did originally have white stripes which were repainted for the camera, it was NEVER flat black. It was always gloss.
I believe you meant George Barris... Not Barr.. and in the Warner Bros documentary about the Batmobile Mr Barris said himself...,"I bought the concept car, the Futura from the Ford motor company for one dollar.."
I did mean Barris. The Barr was a typo. You are correct about the documentary and about George buying the car for $1 from Ford. However, the car was a Lincoln branded concept car. I'm no spring chicken. I've worked in custom cars all my life and worked extensively with Bob Keene, aka "Bob Bikini". It was through him that I met George a couple of times on projects. Being a huge fan of George and the Batmobile I had the privilege of talking to George himself about the car while standing next to it. This was before the documentary came out. My knowledge comes straight from the man himself. A memory I will always treasure.

Its even better in person! It’s been my favorite piece in my collection ever since it arrived.

Would love to see them create the Blade Runner ‘82 Spinner.
Wow this just kept getting better with each new product!
Proud owner of this model…amazing piece! I’ve added a few upgrades…:)
George Barris what a genius. The thing is that it’s not a prop. It’s real car that you can drive.
Amazing. Definitely appreciate the paint work. Its what sets this apart from the rest. Details galore.🎉🎉🎉

Incredible
They should do real Ghostbusters ecto. The fans always have the deets. Most companies hate that
Fantastic piece.
Concerning the finish, the real original Batmobile, built by George Barris was painted with literally 55 coats of high gloss jet black lacquer.
Actually the first one was Matt black: 1966batmobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/1965-flat-1.jpg
And that was over the original Ford pearl white and red paint for its two previous film roles.

I have to think Battle Star Galactica has to be on the radar somewhere.
Question friend the place you bought I love the Batmobile if it’s no problem can you send the link dear, thanks
Cool but feature the `1/6 scale Keaton Batmobile, the best you can find. :-)
God bless.
Atomic batteries to power, turbines to speed.
today is Saturday, can you stream?
Atomic batteries on , Turbines to speed.
Nice video norm sir
It is glossy...I saw the original Batmobile in the mid-70's.
The flocking was only for auto shows, to protect the finish.
It's an absolutely beautiful vehicle but, sadly, way out of my price range - my Hot Toys Batman & Robin will have to go everywhere on foot! 😕

Lincoln was a Ford brand name - both are technically right.
The base car was built in 1955.
You are wrong as well lol
