** NOTE: a few people have mentioned in the comments that some of the non-vegan ingredients I showed can be produced/obtained from a VEGAN SOURCE. For example, glycerine, synthetic/plant derived lactic acid, collagen (from algae), keratin (from wheat etc.), lecithin (from soy etc.), oleic acid (from high oleic-sunflower seeds etc.). If the product is certified vegan, that means those ingredients are from plant sources. If the product is not certified vegan, just email or call the company to confirm the origin of those ingredients. Hope this helps :)
Great video thank you! I have a TWO-RULE SYSTEM when it comes to make-up, hygiene and cleaning products which saves me time and confusion:- 1) Parent company has to be cruelty, if not BYE BYE there’s plenty to choose from. 2) Cruelty-Free isn’t enough, they HAVE TO BE VEGAN. Cruelty-free statement unfortunately only means no testing, not that it is animal-ingredient-free. Therefore, even if not tested but contains animal ingredients it is in fact no longer cruelty free (as you rightly mention in your video) That's it! Makes it easier to shop and not mess around with companies that either aren't doing the right thing or only doing things by halves and I don't have to worry whether my money is funding things I'm completely against! After all, it's not the most we can do... It's the least we can do 😉😘🌱✌🏻💚
Thank you so much for being so welcoming to your new group of followers! You, Carly and Freelee (and my dog!) are reasons why I have chosen to become vegan. It's been over 2 months and I will not be looking back. Namaste.
Yeah she is beautiful for sure , what a great looking couple , it certainly helps that they are easy on the eyes!!! hey whatever it takes for people to click and hear the message right ?!?!??! :)
Wouldn't it be weird if beauty standards were to look TRULY natural... Like if companies sold products "Enhance your dark circles!" "Shorten your lashes!" lol
Make up looks great! And all the colors look great on you! Blush is perfect. And just a tip- mix the two lipstick together and you will achieve a diff color that you may like more ❤️
I've been following a completely vegan diet for the last couple of weeks and buying some vegan makeup is the next thing on my to do list. I'll definitely be checking this brand out, thank you for the really helpful review💚
I recently started a vegan beauty channel here on YT and it's so cool to see so much more awareness about cruelty-free/vegan matters in the makeup community! Still a long way to go but definitely moving in the right directions. Great video, natasha!
Thank you! Your skin looks so amazing!!!! By the way that lip color you are wearing looks great on you ☺️ A skin care routine video would be great! -Cristina from San Francisco
thanks :) I don't use anything on my skin .... i just wash with water. It's this lifestyle... the right food, hydration, exercise, sleep ... follow the steps in this video ua-cam.com/video/qI1BwK5Sfq4/v-deo.html
you're absolutely stunning! i always enjoy your videos because you have so much information on veganism in general and inform your viewers in an approachable and kind way. much love! x
The makeup you are wearing looks really nice, you did it in a way that just enhances what you already have without looking like you changed yourself. I love the pinkish lipstick on you, it really flatters your skin tone. Love the makeup reviews for vegan products, definitely make more like this if you get more!
thank you so much for this! I see so many people call their makeup vegan when it is only cruelty free. You are just glowing, have been waiting for this video! Much love from Seattle :)
This is such a great video, I am definitely going to check out these products. About two years ago I switched all my products over to non-chemical, cruelty free products and they are hard to come by and know exactly what's in them and if they are legitimate, so this video is really really useful - thanks! I love all your videos. You give great info, you really are inspiring me more and more, thanks so much :) Happy Weekend to you both!
Natasha thank u soo much for making this video, Ik ur not super into makeup but by making this video it's showing young girls that want to wear makeup that they can do it in an ethical cruelty free way
Love this, thank you so much!! I had been waiting for this video for quite some time, it's nice that you try to help other people not only with their food choices but also with makeup. I'm on the hunt for good vegan leather as well, but this definitely helps! :)
The blush you applied looks great! Very nice. The red lipstick is perfect for you! I think it looks very nice with your complexion. I know you said you don't like it, but you look really wonderful. :)
Hi Vegan Couple, love u so much! This Maddi from Georgia (a tiny country next to Turkey, a little spot on the map:)) Just wanted to say that i watch u for already 2 month and you guys turned me Vegan. i can't explain how wonderful i feel now when i changed my lifestile and all thanks to u! by the way - Georgia is the most ignorant place in terms of veganism - u can't find any vegan restaurant here or vegan store, or vegan community. we do not have big malls like wholefoods or Walmart where u can buy vegan foods. people here can't imagine their lives without meat or dairy. even my family doesn't support me. we have no access to vegan foods like almond milk or coconuts, nutritional yeast etc.. i never tried mango:)). no supplements ere, just pure veggies and fruits + whole grains, starches. So everything's possible, no excuses when u care. you opened my eyes to the truth and now i'm vegan for forever. thank you so much. love u:*
Just stick to the raw foods it's even better than what you can get in the stores!! As far as nutritional yeast for B12, maybe try finding an organic farmers market nearby or a neighbors garden! Don't wash off the good stuff though :)
If you want a cheaper alternative, you could try E.L.F. I am not sure if their products are 100% vegan, but the ones that I have are. I think their only non vegan products are a set of horse hair brushes, but as far as I know their other products are vegan and cruelty free. They are a good choice if you want something different!
I love your videos and I think your approach is great. You don't softtread but are still likeable and empathetic and I really do think that it makes it so much easier to accept the vegan messege instead of deflecting it, as I think a lot of non-vegans do if they feel as if they're being "attacked". Thank you for doing what you are doing! If you haven't already, could you please do a video about "seafood" such as fish, roe, shrimp, fishoil etc?
You look gorgeous Natasha! I have used a cleanser from 100 % Pure years ago and do remember liking it. Thank you for the review and for teaching me that cruelty free does not equal vegan💖
I am new to your channel, but have loved every video so far. I admire both of your efforts in spreading knowledge about the cruelties of consuming animals. I am going to admit, I was thinking of reaching out to you regarding this. Pleasantly surprised! -Christina from San Antonio, Texas :)
Thank you for making this video. I will definitely be purchasing a few products from this brand to see how I like them. I am very new to the lifestyle, and it's so helpful to be informed about all of the vegan choices available. Thanks again :)
you look beautiful (as always)!!! I love this tip for applying blush…keep a straight face and apply it to the top of your cheekbones and slightly up, if you smile while applying blush and then have a straight face it makes it look droopy. just a lil something I learned from my days watching the beauty gurus :P
Thank you for the video! I've been wanting to try that brand for a while but I didn't know too much about it. I am enjoying the video variety for vegan topics!!!!
Can we get a list of vegan cosmetics (if that's the right word) for men? The shave creams I use say "cruelty free " but I've never seen a vegan version. Maybe Lucca can throw together a video for us vegan guys
We love hearing from vegan guys 💪 Hmmm, interesting question. Check the free ebook that's in the description box below The Vegan Activist's video, just in case he has already covered this. I guess the list of non-vegan ingredients shown in this video also applies to men's products. Personally, I don't use any products... i shave with vegan soap, use baking soda for deodorant, and that's it! Thanks mate.
Kurt you may like Arbonne, they have a men's line of skin care, it's all certified vegan, I am very happy with Arbonne, in fact their mascara is the best vegan mascara I have found yet and it doesn't clump. Here's a link : StephanieLockett.arbonne.com/
Thank you for such an informational video, I didn't know so many cosmetic and anti-aging ingredients contained animals! Keep doing what you're doing and producing quality helpful videos.
I really enjoyed this video! You look great as well. On the lip stick color, always take into consideration the your own natural lip color. The inside of your bottom lip is your best guide. If your lip is pink, reds will look pink on you. Unless you conceal your natural, the color will always show through lipstick.
thank you so much! my family and i have gone vegan ( mum is still being convinced , earthlings is helping ) and my sisters were curious how we could get vegan beauty products! this is fab!! also, do you know what mainstream brands are vegan? we have lush over here in ireland but were trying to find cheaper alternatives! really support what you guys are doing and you're going to get so much good karma, you're saving lives daily
Your makeup looks nice. Natural and pretty. You obviously don't need makeup but it is nice to play around with. I have so much makeup but will slowly weed out the non cruelty free stuff then the non vegan products. Financially I can't buy all new stuff but I really appreciate when people share vegan options so I know what to look for. Thanks for sharing :)
I didn't know elf is 100% vegan! I don't wear much makeup either, so I think I will use elf from now on because all these vegan makeup brands are so expensive!
Elf is 100% vegan but they also use toxic ingredients in a lot of their products, just so everyone is aware. Vegan does not always mean that it's completely safe.
Wow.. i was literally only thinking last night that you should do a vegan makeup type video and then i go onto youtube this morning and bam.. here it is. Must have been in sync with you guys.
Nice video! You look very pretty! But don't go for berry or purple colors. They are cool tones but you need warm tones for your complexion :-) companies should write "warm" or "cool" next to their colors - that is the absolute basic in choosing colors. I think they don't want us to choose the right stuff right away ;)
Dear Natasha, thank you for this great video. And I just want to say that I thought you looked beautiful with that lipstick. The color of the blush and the lipstick suits you nicely. Thanks again for the review. Namaste :)
I became vegan 2.5 weeks ago, but still have some non-vegan beauty products. I'm going to finish using them as the damage has been done , unfortunately, and it would just be a waste, but I definitely needed this video so I know where to shop from now on! Thank you!
I don't know but i think this color looks gorgeous on you, and you look so beautiful and neat, on top of being such a beautiful person. Thanks for being an inspiration

Awesome to hear :D
The lipstick looks great on you!
I agree!
So pretty

lol
Yeah it's been around for a while, it makes them look cute.
lets do it!
You're such a glowing spirit, this video feels like a big sister chat
I'm a guy but I watched this video to support you guys. :P Keep it up!!
you're awesome 😉
That Vegan Couple Ditto ;)
I like the lipstick colour you're wearing now. I think makeup makes you look younger and more alive.. Nice job :)
Check out Pacifica Beauty too :)
+Shyrelism I have a Pacifica lipstick that I love!!!
Catrice is cruelty free and a lot of their products are also vegan and it is super affordable :)
If you're looking for vegan cosmetics then arbonne are completely cruelty free and vegan!! AbbieBurkmar.arbonne.com
that lip colour looks AMAZING on you!!
I recently started a vegan beauty channel here on YT and it's so cool to see so much more awareness about cruelty-free/vegan matters in the makeup community! Still a long way to go but definitely moving in the right directions. Great video, natasha!

you're absolutely stunning! i always enjoy your videos because you have so much information on veganism in general and inform your viewers in an approachable and kind way. much love! x
You are such a beautiful soul. I've learnt so much from you in the past few weeks! Thank you!!!
Your shirt colour and lipstick complements each other and your complexion so well it looks beautiful!
The makeup you are wearing looks really nice, you did it in a way that just enhances what you already have without looking like you changed yourself. I love the pinkish lipstick on you, it really flatters your skin tone. Love the makeup reviews for vegan products, definitely make more like this if you get more!

I love how informative and to the point you are. amazing channel!

Natasha for a beauty youtuber!!!! Btw I think that the lipstick suited you well.
hahahaha ... now you're just teasing me 😜 Luca is laughing 😂 hehe, glad you enjoyed it.
+That Vegan Couple I did and smth I forgot to tell you is that you can use coconut oil or almond oil to take off your makeup
randomly joining the conversation to add that my favorite oil to use as a makeup remover is sunflower seed oil. (:
I love how honest this review is
i thought you couldnt look any prettier! you are always so beautiful, and enhanced your features pretty well here
This is such a great video, I am definitely going to check out these products. Absolutely ADORE 100%pure cosmetics...well all their products amazing stuff!
Thanks for the heads up on this product 👍🏻 gives me an idea of where to start looking
That color lipstick looks beautiful on you. It brightens up your face. You did a great job applying everything. You look great....
I know you said you didn't care for the lipstick color, but I think it looks lovely on you!
That colour lipstick looks very complimentary to your skin tone! Great review!
Love this, thank you so much!! I had been waiting for this video for quite some time, it's nice that you try to help other people not only with their food choices but also with makeup. I'm on the hunt for good vegan leather as well, but this definitely helps! :)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE makeup on you! Btw NICE lighting!!!
You look really beautiful. Love your minimalist approach. We don't need to wear a mask. We are enhancing our natural beauty not changing ourselves.
You look great! I bought the Maracuja Mascara: Dark Chocolate and was pleasantly surprised that it smells like chocolate. LOVE it!!
But the color on your lips looks good. I wanted for a long time to find that shade.
The blush you applied looks great! Very nice. The red lipstick is perfect for you! I think it looks very nice with your complexion. I know you said you don't like it, but you look really wonderful. :)

Happy cow app/website is a restaurant guide for vegan/vegetarian restaurants and restaurants with such options. Maybe you can find something there'd.
+piiinkDeluxe there

If you haven't already, could you please do a video about "seafood" such as fish, roe, shrimp, fishoil etc?
Yay awesome video!! Thanks for the thorough review and talking about the difference between Cruelty-Free and Vegan.
Listening to you talk about the lipsticks makes me feel like all you're thinking is "They're just not as good as the mulberries...." XD love this vid
😂
You look gorgeous Natasha! I have used a cleanser from 100 % Pure years ago and do remember liking it. Thank you for the review and for teaching me that cruelty free does not equal vegan💖
Love you guys!!
try applying a lip liner before the lipstick in order to enhance the color!
You look beautiful Natasha! With and without makeup
How awesome ! Can't wait to buy ! Thanks for this video.
The lipstick looks lovely on you :) thanks for your videos, so informative!
You reviewing make up has to be the cutest thing ever ❤️❤️❤️
😝
so true :)
I think the "pink" color looks great on you! And the blush and eyeliner look great as well.

I actually think the lipstick you have suits you perfectly😍 love it
You have the most naturally gorgeous skin, and I really love the tone of the lipstick I think it really suits you :)
I love your makeup, so keen to buy from this compassionate brand☺

Try Lush!

It looks really natural too. Defo worth the time and travels haha x

Your skin is amazing! I like your berry make up the best!
The makeup looks very beautiful on you- not that you need it of course. 😊
Also, you say you don't like the lipstick, but I think it looks so lovely on you!

I use elf cosmetics, 100% vegan :) then again I only use eye liner, cover up and mascara
I'm a big fan of ELF too, it's nice to support a 100% Vegan company. I also use Kat Von D now she's 100% Vegan as well as Jeffree Star
I didn't know elf is 100% vegan! I don't wear much makeup either, so I think I will use elf from now on because all these vegan makeup brands are so expensive!

This is why arbonne is amazing! Safe, cruelty free and vegan! AbbieBurkmar.arbonne.com
The lipstick you have on look lovely on you! :) I love it! Thank you for this video!
Look amazing love this video 😻❤️
Love this video. Awesome to see you doing this. The makeup looks great on you and really trust your opinion. Will have to give this brand a go! ❤️
thank you so much 😘
Wow.. i was literally only thinking last night that you should do a vegan makeup type video and then i go onto youtube this morning and bam.. here it is. Must have been in sync with you guys.
Nice video! You look very pretty! But don't go for berry or purple colors. They are cool tones but you need warm tones for your complexion :-) companies should write "warm" or "cool" next to their colors - that is the absolute basic in choosing colors. Are you not uploading your Snapchat stories any more? I have missed them they really got me motivated of a morning 💪🏻 love you guys 😘
Yeah I've missed them too
I hope they do keep uploading them. Always helped me before my morning run :)
thanks for all this info!!! ❤
Dear Natasha, thank you for this great video. And I just want to say that I thought you looked beautiful with that lipstick. The color of the blush and the lipstick suits you nicely. Thanks again for the review. Namaste :)
That lipstick looks beautiful on you Natasha! 😊
Lipstick looks beautiful 😙
I did a review on them too haha! I love this video you made, so informative, along with all your other videos.
I became vegan 2.5 weeks ago, but still have some non-vegan beauty products. I'm going to finish using them as the damage has been done , unfortunately, and it would just be a waste, but I definitely needed this video so I know where to shop from now on! Thank you!
This lipstick looks SOOOO good on you 😍😍😍
Slayyyyyy Natasha - you look beautiful either way ❤️
I think that the lipstick looks great on you! You can always use the lipsticks as a blush if you want to try a deeper blush colour x
I like it!! It looks great Natasha!!
Blush looks perfect girl! X
omg I needed this info so much. thank you so much!! 😁
I don't know but i think this color looks gorgeous on you, and you look so beautiful and neat, on top of being such a beautiful person. Thanks for being an inspiration
I love to keep screenshots of lists like the animal derivatives you included at the beginning of this video. I've made a folder in my phone so I can easily access the list instead of spending ages googling products. There's this app which I found recently called "Think Dirty" which identify potential risk factors when you scan the bar code of an item. I'd love to see them add a animal derivatives algorithm too!
this is great!
this is great!
this is great!
Thanks for sharing the app I just downloaded.
loved this! kat von d has a vegan makeup line and is vegan herself.. my fav makeup brand for sure:)
What vegan skincare do you use?! Tarte and Too faced are also great vegan brands!
I don't use anything on my skin :)
I like the pink red it looks great on you
If you live in the UK superdrug has a vegan range called b.makeup or b.cosmetics. Superdrug's own range also has quite a few vegan products!
The lipstick colour looks beautiful on you! Xx
