Add a little white vinegar to water...1:1 ...and let it steam through the machine...just take it out on your deck or patio and let the vinegar/water steam run through it for a few mins....cleans mineral deposits out quickly. I have a shark steam mop....old as dirt...but when it clogs i do this. ..good as new.

I used my McCulloch steam cleaner three times in my kitchen and bathroom then it began leaking all the water out the bottom. Very unimpressed. It has since sat in the box in the botto of the closet. wasted my money.

It may be counterintuitive but bleach actually loses its disinfecting properties when used with warm or hot water and should always be used with cold water.

How much Clorox do you add ? I want to clean walls with it but cant seem to find any information about using a diluted bleach mixture.
👍🧡 very little. Mainly used to disinfect. Would not recommend. use at your own risk because it voids warranty.

I mean distilled water at Walmart is like 85 cents a gallon? And at our house we drink it regularly it’s better than anything out there I’m my opinion. I use it in the steamer and have had no issues. But y’all do you, it’s just easier to use distilled

I bought one three years ago and it’s been sitting in a closet for at least three years. I just took it out today put some water in it and it was a little corroded works. Perfect I love it. Good video.

which brand or type of bleach/additive do you use? i want a deeper clean more than water but i dont want to damage the machine
👍🧡 Highly recommend you don't use bleach for cleaning. Voids warranty and I only used for disinfecting for covid 19. Best to use distilled water at all times. Now I don't use that much. Thanks for the comments.

How do you drain water out of the storage when being done?
Open cap when it's cooled down and turn upside down.
Looks like my only choice to get a steam cleaner for the whole carpet is to rent one. These little ones aren’t made to clean a whole carpet, and the ones that sell at stores only shampoo the carpet. No steam. Why is it so hard to find one for around $200
I would not clean the whole house with this.
@@JamesBondJB007 Thx for quick reply. Trying to get rid of fleas that a family members pet gifted me with! 😮 Anyway, found the perfect solution! it’s called the “Hoover steam complete pet”. It’s a mop, but it’s made to also steam carpet for refreshing only. Exactly what I need. Has a high/lo steam setting as well, if you hold the steam button the whole time, so for anyone in need, pretty sure this will do the trick. Thx

I don't get what you're doing when you're pressing the thing and saying that way your steamer wont break down on you.. Wish I can find videos of how to use this like with all the attachments and stuff. I literally wanted to get the 1375 and bought the wrong one.. which is really annoying that im stuck with it and so never used it. Since there's a ton of tutorials on the other model and none on this one..

@@julial3758 👍🧡 I use it mainly to disinfect for the coronavirus I add chlorine or bleach to the water. It's holding up just fine and yes I am still using it.

Mine is brand new out the box and I can’t get steam to come out. Water is in there and heated up, everything says it’s ready to roll but nothing happens when I press the steam button. Pretty much my luck
