Love French toast, it’s been so many years… This reminds me of an old favorite. The Monte Cristo Sandwich stuffed with ham and Swiss cheese, deep fried then dusted with powdered sugar & fruit jam on the side. Thank you Myra!!!

I have to agree, I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and because I'm always in a lot of pain and read somewhere that grape seed oil reduces inflammation. Of course I tried it and only couldn't tell the difference but also noticed an increase in the joint pain so what you said about the grape seed oil makes a lot of sense! It's been so long since I've had french toast and can't wait to try this recipe! Thank you for sharing your amazingly wonderful recipes!

Also had a bit of whipping cream on top and either a drizzle of what ever fruit sauce was inside or a little chocolate. A little over the top for Keto maybe, but it was a show stopper!

You're instructions in the print out recipe and what you say in the utube video are inconsistent. You said you put it in the oven for 35-40 mins, your instructions say 12-15. Also, the consistency of the dough I made is dryer then yours, did you add water to make it pour like a liquid?
As long as you wear such long fingernails, PLEASE wear gloves! I can't imagine the bacteria that gets transferred from under your nails to the food you touch.
