American Family EATS UNDER a WATERFALL!!! Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort

- Villa Escudero was amazing! We were told by many people that we needed to visit there. We were so glad we did. Everything was so much fun and so awesome!
To start things off, we loved riding the wagon pulled by a carabao while listening to live, traditional Filipino music. Then, we discovered the recreation room with foosball, air hockey, and classic video games. After playing, we decided to go swimming even though it was raining and was cold. The kids had a blast. JoeJoe had so much fun carrying the GoPro and taking each of us along on adventure through his eyes.
Lunch was amazing. The authentic Filipino food was delicious. The coolest part was eating underneath a waterfall. We literally walked through water up to the kids' knees to get our food and then sat at a table with a river rushing underfoot. The boys had a blast playing in the waterfall. After lunch, we discovered their Jeepney, frogs, and more.
One of the highlights of the day was the performance. It was so well done! They danced, sang, played traditional drums and music, and had one of the bet performances we have seen. The dances were from all across the Philippines and gave us a taste of the fun and culture of this beautiful land and people.
Along with everyone else, we highly recommend Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort to anyone and everyone!

After my mom's company retreat there in the 90s, she always said she wanted us, as family to visit. We didn't have a car then and we would need to save up for the fee. We lost her in 2013 and didn't have the chance to bring her there. So now that we have a car and are more financially stable, we make sure to go out every weekend for our dad. We would always joke that we are wasting our money but in reality we know that we are not. We are banking memories and memories last a lifetime.
Your kids are so grounded, well-mannered and respectful . And they look like they truly are enjoying their adventures in the Philippines. Great job Mom and Dad for such adorable kids.
Yeah they are well-mannered children and handsome ang pretty baby❤️ So as the parent, ENJOY YOUR STAY HERE IN THE 🇵🇭❤️
Of course they taste good to us, because ITS OUR FOOD THAT OUR TASTEBUDS HAVE BEEN USED TO EATING SINCE WE'RE LITTLE. Not for the foreigners, their tastebuds are not like ours.
Kids will really always remember this precious moment of their childhood when they grew old.
I hope you realize how heartfelt caring loving and hospitable Filipinos are. Foreigners always comes back because because they feel that it's their 2nd home. Enjoy your stay.

you should also visit cebu the second main island of the PH for the whale shark encounter, it is also closer to bohol where you can enjoy the chocolate hills, see the tarsiers (endangered specie) and the man made forest, also the virgin island

I've been in Villa Escudero 2x (1991 and 1999). I am going home in July and I should put that in my itinerary again. It's an awesome place. I use to dance tinikling when I was in grade school. Thank you for your wonderful video.

This is my favorite vlog by far. This the real Filipino culture and tradition. I miss going there in Villa Escudero. There are plenty of schools in the USA that do this TINIKLING dance.i just love this family. they are not only vlogging but most importantly they are enjoying as family. How wonderful that you were able to go to Villa Escudero! I've been there 3x. I love rafting in the river. Too bad you didn't get to do that... And glad you loved the cultural dance show. We have so many native dances that are very artistic and entertaining to watch. I hope more foreigners will get to see them so they can know more about our rich culture.
If you're still here in May, try to visit the Pahiyas Festival (also in Quezon Province in Lucban) where they decorate the houses with colorful rice leaves and produce. :)
