- Meet Lola my pet parrot Greenwing Macaw.
Not only is she adorable, the sounds she makes while preening can imo be considered as ASMR. So sit back and relax.
Lot's of scratches, feather preening, cuddles and more

Thank you 😊 yes she is
She can get pretty clingy 😅
Got a video where she’s eating, that’s beyond adorable
She’s beautiful! I have a Hahns Macaw named Poncho and even though he’s small, he has a big mouth. He’s so smart and cute. ❤️❤️❤️
☺️
I know this was made quite awhile ago, but still, thank you for this! As another green wing owner I indeed find this relaxing. And that statue you have there is awesome, I will admit..!
thank you, she’s an adorable bird 😊
Thanks so much for this!! All I want is ASMR of birds preening themselves but almost no one will post such videos!
I will try to post some more in the future!
It’s a very relaxing sound they make
Same, the soft ruffling is just the best 😩
She is a very vibrant parrot i love the colours! Does lola repeat words you often say?
she can say ‘high five’ ‘hello’ ‘peekaboo’ 😊
@@asmrurelaxing Aww thats adorable
Nah. ☠
Oh my gosh she’s so beautiful 😍
thank you
You're welcome 😊
This is really nice! She's so cute
She’s incredibly cute ☺️
My neighbors’ green-winged macaw has bonded with me over the years… he is my little buddy and he loves to snuggle up to me. I wish I could make an ASMR video with him but he gets so excited every time he sees me and he screams a lot 😂
😅 they can scream but mine doesn’t do that often
15:51 even birds know about asmr.
they do 😊 if they are relaxed they are extremely relaxing to behold
Omg that's so cute ^_^
she is incredible 😊
I have been searching for this!! But I would love a video this long of preening a macaw! I throughly enjoy it and so do my babies!
glad you enjoyed it, they preen when they are really comfortable. Not easy to film professionally with the right lighting but when I get the chance to record some more preening I’ll make a long compilation.
@@asmrurelaxing awesome!! Would love to see it!
Honestly gotta give respect for you responding to every comment 2 years later
Thank you, I’m still very active on youtube. Sadly I can’t find any time to record and edit ASMR videos. A reply cost very little time so why not 😊
Watching the love and trust between you is a beautiful thing to see! Thanks for sharing.
thank you 🙏

This is wonderful
1:07 that sound you made is pure bliss
Tell me someone's made a full asmr video of just that
That said, she's beautiful. She's so graceful
thank you 😊
I think Jojo’s ASMR has lots of videos with tongue clicking sounds if you mean that sound.
omg hi lola
めちゃめちゃ綺麗な毛並み✨毛色も鮮やかでうちゅくしい( *´꒳`* )
飼い主さんのこの子への愛が伝わってきます(*^^*)
Omg, I’m so jealous of people who have larger, or male, birds. I have a female cockatiel and she will not let me pet any part of her other than her head, I still love her very much though 🥰
Don’t be jealous 😊 it has very little to do with size or gender. The head is the best part because other zones might stimulate the bird in becoming hormonal. Leading to all kinds of behavioural problems. Petting a bird on its back (wings) like you would do with a cat or dog is the worst thing you could do to a parrot, it will get frustrated because you can’t fulfil the sexual urge that you are awaking in the bird.
If your bird lets you scratch its head cheeks and just underneath the beak that really good 👍
You shouldnt pet a parrot anywhere other than its head, it makes them hormonal
I have budgies and watching them preen themselves and eat seeds is relaxing for some reason, sometimes when they come to me, they nibble on my clothes and it’s also pretty relaxing so it just made me curious if there is any asmr with parrots, turns out there is lol
🙂
She's beautiful! 💜💜💜
she is 😊
Touching birds anywhere but the head and feet is how you turn them on by the way.
I know, please read other comments where I mention why.
Omg you are sooo like Tulio from the movie Rio
😅
dw it's a good thing! That is my favorite movie and the way you pronounce bird reminds me of it so i love it :>@@asmrurelaxing
Wonderful video, thanks for sharing
thanks 🙏
Beautiful bird is this the pet that chewed on your ps5 analog stick
Thanks 😊, no Mayday (the Congo Grey) chewed on that controller 😅
I finally replaced the sticks last week
Mine would have screamed lol
😅
Hello Mr.
That parrot is beautiful and an intelligent creature, also that samurai armor in the back is so exquisite.

How many parrots you got
I have 2 parrots, recently the adopted Eclectus parrot ‘Charlie’ died from kidney failure 😞
I'm so sorry to hear this I've only got one green macaw
Green wing or green as in Military macaw or Buffon?
𓅪
How does that not hurt them? When they itch or scratch themselves on the head or neck or sides of head or top of head? Or does it hurt them alittle when they do it?
I think they scratch with the sides of their claws
@@SATANFUCKSMYSOUL Oh wow and ok
My guess is that it kind of works like cats, when they don’t put tension on the nails they don’t hurt.
Also my birds nails aren’t as sharp as wild ones because I clip the nails a tiny bit, still unpleasant and sometimes really painful when they put pressure when holding on. But when the nails are as sharp as they can be it’s instant blood when they hold on to you.
Especially when they’re heavy like my biggest bird (1200kg).
pin feathers

Can she fly?
yes and really well, very agile for a big bird even indoor
Sorry parret
why are you touching her all over her body :| it’s not good for them
I don’t do it often and she shows partner behaviour from time to time even if I don’t do that. Also she’s not aggressive towards my girlfriend so if it’s dosed right I don’t see too much harm in it. Have parrots for close to 15 years now never had problems. People often go nuts when other parrot owners let parrots sit on their shoulders or when they choose to clip their wings etc. still they do things themselves that could be potentially bad and then other parrot owners go nuts.
It’s a thin line to walk and yes you’re absolutely right that it could potentially be bad to stimulate your bird that way.
I monitor my birds closely and when behavioural problem could develop I’ll act accordingly.
@@asmrurelaxing Of course not dishing you out, everyone has different relationships but i’ve mostly only worked with small to medium sized parrots so i wondering if the same behaviour applied to them. Thank you for clarifying and educating me!
Certainly the same applies to large parrots too. I think the most important thing is when your bird starts regurgitating you need to immediately stop what you’re doing and put the bird away briefly. That’s the most unwanted behaviour and the most obvious one too.
I any case if a bird is aggressive towards other family members you shouldn’t touch anything other than the head of the bird.
