We file chapter 13 the best advice I can give whatever your payments going to be just have them garnish your check that's what we did and never have to worry about being late

That is great advice. Most districts (I presume all), allow for the debtor to use a wage withdrawal for the chapter 13 payment. That truly is the best way to make the plan payment. Although it might hurt initially, doing so makes it so you don't really see or miss that money.

@@scottiecarroll5656 or just be responsible and treat as the most important payment in your life next to your mortgage and pay it yourself directly not a fan of outsiders tinkering with my paycheck I worked for

How can you rebuild your credit during the plan payment period? I have a car payment and a mortgage loan that are no longer showing up due to filing a chapter 13?

Generally, you can obtain a credit card during chapter 13. What you do is then charge a small amount each month, pay it off each month, and do that each month. That positive recuring payment hisory is what you need.

Thank you! I am doing a chime credit builder. I'm at 620 so far. I will also have money to put aside later this summer from a bonus that I can keep for emergencies per my attorney.
