- Psalm 119 emphasises the importance of obeying God's commands. This psalm is the longest chapter in the bible, as it gives insight into the life of faith, devotion to God’s Word, and the pursuit of righteousness.
Brothers and sisters, even though the world we live in is evil and there are so many temptations and distractions that leads us away for God we must stay faithful to the Lord as God's children. I think it is important to spread love and treat others as if they were our own family. By this way we glorify God and stay faithful to Him.

I love commands!!?, although im a 100% believer the Bible is filled with such weird things and attitudes that i just can't grasp. Like people who get excited by words like obey surrender and commands. I truely don't fit anywhere no matter how hard i try i just can't stop thinking for myself, conformity comes so easy to majority of people.
Think about it this way: your soul is refreshed by these things of God, but your understanding of the words “surrender”, “submit”, and “obedience” are of the world. Our pride will not allow us to bow down entirely to anybody or anything. When the word says, “I love your laws,” it’s speaking from the spirit. Of course our flesh hates rules and regulations, but our soul loves his laws because they give us a direction for righteousness, keeping us within the pasture with our good shepherd. When we go out of that pasture, we go on our own accord and it’s not safe for us. God’s laws preserve our lives because choosing God is choosing life, and not choosing God is choosing death, and the wage of sin is death. We have our own understanding and we divise our own plans in our hearts, but we all live and die. God’s word is eternal, the beginning and the end. Try not to “conform” to Christianity, but put your focus in understanding the word of God. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened. Ask, and you shall receive. @@Emet315 of course brother Emet, praise the Lord that He sends us to encourage one another. Adversity has been heavy in my life this year, but the blessings have been greater and I’m now stepping into many answered prayers so I’m grateful and thank you for that. Literally just 2 years ago I was struggling with a deadly opiate addiction that almost took my life numerous times, and today I’m enrolled at GCU in a bachelor’s program and got my whole first year of tuition paid for with $0 out of pocket, about to start a job at a group home with troubled youth, and now helping coach basketball with the kids in my community that are gonna go to the high school I went to (I was great but after HS my addiction took over my life for a while). So I’m blessed rn brother, truly blessed. I could always use prayer for strength and endurance. I pray for your ministry on here to grow often.🙏🏼❤️✝️
I'm so happy that life is going so well for you brother! I thank the Lord that He was able to get you out of addiction and also because of how faithful you must have been and how much perseverance you had to quit that addiction. Brother I'm so glad that you are making positive impact out in the world, and changing peoples lives for the better. @@Emet315 thank you my brother. It was definitely a battle and there were a lot of ups and downs, but God prevails and as I grew in my faith, he’s revealed himself more to me in my life. I appreciate the prayers as well bro! Let’s keep doing the Lord’s work 🙏🏼❤️✝️
