I been struggling with drug addiction and alcohol abuse for years until I found God again and he shed mercy on me because of my ignorance. Now I live in the light no longer in darkness, for anyone going through the same pray to God and find him in all things. Blessed are you my brothers and sisters.
Been there brother. I was so exhuasted from trying to quit. Jesus gives us so much rest. I believe it is when i sat back and realized i was still alive. Although all the bad choices and all the things i was doing to myself God still kept me alive. Its then that I heard him say "We still have a lot of work to do." from that i heard he still loves me, he doesnt hold my sin against me and he wants to use me for his purpose and good. You still alive bro! hes got a reason for that. Hes using you for his purpose and love for others. Big love my man, stay free!
How to you do it brother I feel as if when ever I try I slip and give in to temptation and every other year or so I call him for help I fear one day he will let me be I myself acknowledging why would he help me

He saves us. Through him I am forgiven as each one who seek him. Help his people seek.
It brings tears to my eyes , this passage really strips all of what makes us to our very soul

When King David talks about enemies, he is not talking about physical human beings out there wanting to get him. He is talking about spiritual enemies. Saints and Doctors of the Church say there are three enemies to each soul: the Flesh (Ego or lower self), the World (the Matrix of the physical plane), and the Devil (the Evil One and all his demons who serve him). The Devil also uses the World and Ego as weapons. For example, worrying/anxiety is one of the enemies of the soul. Worry is associated with wanting to achieve something in the World or wanting to gratify a greedy desire for the Ego. So when David is asking the Lord to slay his enemies, he is talking about the spiritual enemies or forces that deprive the soul from peace.
Pretty sure he talks about humans. We live in a world full of evil people living in the darkness.
When you are in a position of autority, you get alot of ennemies.
