  • The Marathi play "Tilak Ani Aagarkar" is called as a GOLDEN LEAVE ON MARATHI THEATRE
A well known Marathi playwright Late Mr. Vishram (ji) Bedekar wrote this beautiful play. Play is purely based on India's most active leaders Lokmanya Tilak & social reformer Gopal Ganesh Aagarkar.
This play was performed first time on stage in 1982-83 by Mumbai Marathi Sahitya Sangh, a well known organisation for marathi plays. But not a single video of this play was available till now on social sites. This play is really a milestone. Because it shows not only a difference of both the leaders of India but gives a message of their long lasting friendship.
Again in 2017, Shree Arya Durga Creation & Abhijaat Natya Sanstha newly introduced this play to put a thoughts of Tilak & Aagarkar before a modern India and at the same time their deep friendship too.
This scene is purely showing a conflict between Tilak & Aagarkar.
