help. i have 1000s of pics on my pc in photo folders. how do i AUTOmatically add those unique folder names to the photo EXIF after the fact (because i'm upload to google photos and want to create albums based on those folder names)...thank you. (no sidecars....just adding info to the exif)

Hi Rebecca, amazing! I use to use Adobe Bridge for this, and lately it just seems to crash all the time. So this is a perfect program!

I learned about Photo Mechanic years ago working for a paper. It's the best. I use Light Room for editing and only rarely photoshop. I had put PM aside when I started using LR cause I didn't understand that the color ratings would translate to LR but I was just horrified at the slowness of LR even with Smart Previews. I put up with it for an embarrassingly long time! Then I saw a video on it. It was such a relief to rediscover PM. It cut my editing time I figure at least by 25%!! Great Video. Good luck.

Hi Rebecca, this video is perfect for me as it’s been something that’s been bothering me as a new photographer in not backing up files and taking so long to get through etc.
