I'm always more than a little disappointed with the quality of translation. This man is actually far more polite, articulate, and intelligent than how the interpreter makes him sound. It's hard to catch everything he's saying over the voice over, but there are a few good examples. He starts by saying that "America is the land of democracy." In his parting salutation to Ms. Burnett, he reverses "thank you" to "you thank," which is best translated as "no, thank you." These are small details that often get lost.

There is nothing wrong with a fresh rabbit. Boiled or grilled, I think I would have grilled it over that fire. EDIT: in hindsight he was probably going to feed others and rabbit stew would be the answer there.

He put his face in front of million of people around the world, to stand against Putin's regime of oppression for all the Russian people who disagree with this war of aggression in Ukraine. Kudos to this man 👏 and I really hope he can find asylum in USA and testify against the war crimes committed by Russian soldiers/officers. Give this man a chance. The more Russians defect from the theater of war in Ukraine and refuse to go to Ukraine, the better.

It's so sad to know they all don't want to be there or agree with the reason they are but have no choice. It must be so heart wrenching knowing the damage they're causing and lives they're taking. They're probably so scared to speak up. I can't imagine growing up with such a dictatorial government
