After 4 and a half minutes, I learned nothing but subjective opinions. Thanks
Lol thanks for saving me the trouble
2 days aint long enough to measure this! Jebus... the heck is wrong w this show.
My thoughts too
I was thinking the same thing. This is the dumbest waste of time ever!!! And also, any idiot knows that pressed from fresh produce is BETTER than shelved packed with added sugar and preservatives store bought juice. Come on!!!!
The snapchat filters make me take it less seriously anyways. Ffs.
Agrees 2 days really?? Im going on 4 days and plan to do 21 total
Big pharma
I rarely comment on a video, but this one is so incredibly biased and unscientific in every respect that it deserves a warning label. The investigation was biased from the beginning by comparing two commercial products -- not actual juice from a juicer. We have no idea what was in either of the "investigated" PRODUCTS. The sampling of the subjects is also biased and exceptionally limited. This is absolute nonsense with no scientific validity whatsoever.
Agreed
no kidding. If I did this experiment in 1st year college research methods I would fail!
I felt the same way. I was so curious to see Lab results. Those juices are full of sugar! Yet, no test results were completed. Not even a fasting blood glucose.
If your scientifically studying detox. It kind of seems like there should be some urine examples to compare detox levels.
What do you expect - it’s “The Doctors”. Who’s paying the actors’ (doctors’) salaries, the network…? What can you trust in mainstream media. Ditched my TV in 2005 and only watched a couple selected shows some years before that. It’s all propaganda and a tool for lowering everyone’s capacity for intelligence and their ability to question and think for themselves.
4 days into my juice fast. Lost 9 pounds so far. Blood pressure went to 112/79 and has stayed around that range for the last 3 days. I check it several times a day. And I have been on BP meds for over 10 years. Our medical system is either clueless or criminal. I’ll take results over an MD behind someone’s name any day.
It’s almost like when you fast, consume only a single type of food with low calories, you lose weight. I can make a banana smoothie and fast everyday then lose 25 pounds, that doesn’t mean this juice made me lose weight
@@getmeto50ksubsorelse46 you make no sense
Criminal for sure
A 2 day study huh? Glad they took this so seriously
With no legitimate control group, might I add.
Haha
Um ok first of all most juice cleanses are for overweight people. These girls are already healthy and a good weight. This study should’ve been done on two overweight patients....and 2 days is nothing. I did a juice cleanse and I lost about 25lb following the Joe Cross juice cleanse diet. This was a complete fail. Juice cleanses do work people! Please don’t take this fail of a study seriously
I agree with almost every single thing you said in your comments, however your first sentence is very short sided. There are tons of normal weighted people who have done juice cleanses for a variety of ailments like Chrone's Disease, Psoriasis, Asthma, Acid reflux, high blood pressure, etc. Or as a conversion to a plant based diet to get rid of all the built up toxins from a lifetime processed foods. Or just to get healthier and shed toxins. There are thousands of fitness and heath models and nutritionists who do it 'just for the cleansing effect'. It's not just for obese people. : (
I did a juice cleanse for 3 days and honestly I did not notice any significant changes in my body except less bloating and clearer skin. But what I did notice was a mental cleanse. Prior to the juice cleanse I had a horrible relationship with food but going through the process of saying no to all the foods I love gave me the confidence to continue to do that and make a lifestyle change. So for me it was more about a mental cleanse not really a body cleanse.
That’s great you had some significant positive mental changes after your 3-day juice cleanse, but the fact that you glossed over the physical changes as if they weren’t that significant is funny to me. You had less bloating and clearer skin in just 3 days on this cleanse? Skin care alone is a multi-billion dollar industry; people spend all kinds of money to try to get clearer skin, yet after a short time, you improved these issues with juicing fruits and/or vegetables. This actually shows how powerful juicing is for not only mental but physical health. Imagine what just a few more days on a cleanse would do for you physically, not to mention, mentally.
3 days really that's no commitment at all
Make your own juice, dont buy it. Thats where the crap starts. "apple juice"... PUH. More like chemicals with 10% juice.
Johnny Boy trueee
KamekoBruns if they are going to do a juice cleanse or juice fast then you should
Yes, you know what you putting in your body and company juice cleanse bottles don't help, they put more sugar and unnecessary things in their juice
Clear apple juice!!
That’s what I do! Love it!
I was truly seeking advice and an opinion, these two young women were not the candidates for this.
😂😂 are you surprised ?
I was really irritated AFTER she found out she was on the “expensive” detox she goes from saying I felt horrible and it didn’t work to ... oh my yeah that makes sense I felt really detoxed after.... SMH moron!
Go to John Rose's youtube channel. He will set you straight on how to do a proper juice fast.
Exactly
2 days!!! I’m over it 😭 this was not a study this was stupidity.
Only 2 days? That was a crap experiment...
How fucking dare you? My cousin is one of the producers of this show. You want to talk shit then get the fuck out of here!!!!
It's true though... who the hell makes an experiment only 2 days long, literally no changes!!
+Tony Vega that is not brag worthy ! 😂
@@TonyVega123 your cousin is an idiot.
Laura Dee 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I completed a 21-day juice fast and I made my own juice. I just refused to drink NASTY juice or combinations I didn't like. I knew if I was forcing myself to drink nasty juice that I would quit!
@Chris 😆!
@Tamara Hartley, did it work well and what fruits did you use
Well how did it go?
Right
I’m just glad I’m not the only one who was like “wtf?”
I did a 2 day store bought cleanse and lost 7 lbs. I do not have that bloated feeling anymore.
Does anyone else think they kinda look like Reece Witherspoon
It’s the chin
Ah no
That's who they look like!! It was killing me
If you do enough research and cleanse correctly you will feel awful during it because all those toxins sitting in your body are being pulled to the surface BUT being flushed out. Once your cleanse is over and you eat healthy you won’t feel awful anymore. And of course you will feel hungry during it, but you shouldn’t feel like you’re dying of starvation if you do it right. I’ve been on a three day juice cleanse before and I still had energy, I didn’t feel like I was dying and I didn’t feeling like I was starving to death. Also, my three day juice cleanse cost $50....not over $100. Cleanses pave the way to eating healthy.
Fake news
You supposed to do a 3 day juice cleanse and then jump into diet and exercise. They went back to eating like they normally do. The idea is to detox your body before starting a diet to lose weight.
This was dumb
Make your own juice. It works, I've done it for weeks at a time and energy levels were absolutely amazing, pain levels go from 2-3 to 0 as I have disc bulges and able to sleep less than 6 hours. Most will go through detox symptoms the first few days. This isn't a study lol, typical TV nonsense as always.
Juice cleanse is to improve health, not necessarily weight lost. Blood tests before and after a month would be more telling. Along with juicing, it Is best after 3 days to also have plant based meals. I agree with others, this brief test did nothing.
I hope people with common sense know that if you take fresh vegetables at home and juice fast, there will be a difference and your body is cleansing and needs a break from solid foods to reset.
Its like the purposely did this wrong to make people not want to try it.Store bought is not going to work & telling people that its going to cost more than $200 is a joke.
👏👏👏
This is why I’m so glad social media allows more people educate us Vs mainstream media. Just think, in the 90s even early 2000s this was the ONLY narratives we got. It’s why so many more ppl have awaken to this nonsense.
I work at a juice bar where everything we make is all organic. We press, bottle, and label our juice cleanses and i’ve done one before. It’s not for losing weight it is for flushing out unhealthy toxins from your body and it essentially resets your body. It is insanely good for you and you feel great afterwards because the only thing you’re eating/drinking is pounds and pounds organic juiced fruits and veggies
I made my own juiciest 7lbd in a week by replacing 2 meals with juicing my detox was apple banana pear spinach leaves and pineapple juice it worked for me
That left me with more questions
Facts lol. The one girls did switch up a bit too. Lol.
Ridiculous episode! There is so much wrong with it I don’t even know where to start. 🙄
thats exactly why u make your own juice at home, instead make a smoothie because u need the fiber, i never buy store juice cleanser, it doesnt do anything honestly!
KamekoBruns 🤣🤣🤣
@KamekoBruns tell that to the people with auto immune diseases
It's a lifestyle change not a "detox cleanse". If you buy organic fresh fruits and vegetables and juice them at home daily trust me you will be so much healthier!
Hmmm let me get this right.. they did it for 2 days and didn't get the result they wanted. Yeah doesn't work I guess lol you do anything for 2 days and you wont get shit for results ..just sayin. I love this show but definitely expected more
The goal of a cleanse is not to lose weight, lower caloric intake and exercise.
When you detox with a juice feast/fast using a juicer, you will lose weight.
Well the goal for me to loose fat and keep it off 😅
2 Day juice detox that is a amazing lifestyle change to really prove your point for or against nutritional changes to your body.
Wow. I was interested in actually learning about juice cleanses. And he, A DOCTOR said something about buying JUICE AT THE STORE??? If you’re into health at ALL you should know that JUICE at the store is mostly just sugar water. Why isn’t he discussing that? it’s all marketing, sheeple.
THANK YOU 👏👏 absolutely!!!
You can't compare real juicing "One you do with a juicer at home" to either of the ways these girls did and especially in such a short time.It might take a whole week just to have any detox effects ....Smh.
👏👏👏
Ok, first off, the grocery store juice is legit sugar.
A lot of the juices meant for 'detoxes' are actual juiced veggies and fruit with high nutrient content, although, i've seen many of them with ADDED sugar (WTF!)
Not only that, but a lot of those nutrients die after a few hours
Making your own juice at home is cheaper, more effective, and gives you so many more nutrients, but most of all, you actually know whats going into them and you can change a few things as well, so definitely google a diy juice cleanse, or even search the nutrient content of certain fruits and veggies to make a concoction yourself that offers you the exact benefits you're looking for.
you gotta live healthy,it doesn't take 2 days
Horrible! First of all you make your own juice!! A detox has to be a minimum of 3 days to see some kind of results. In addition juicing is not just for detox but for healing and should juice on a regular basis for optimal health.
You have to do more than 2 day's on the juice cleanse it takes around a week or more to get the desired effects
If you're going to spend the money, make the juice yourself. If you're going to cleanse, do it for the sake of detoxing your body not losing weight. A cleanse is not sustainable as a form of weight loss.
the fact that people watch this show and listen to the "advice" is everything that's wrong with the world. 2 days is the laziest nutritional "study" ever done. they're supposed to be doctors but nobody thought to run nutritional panels? wow!
this is quite study?
I bought Arden's garden. And it tastes good. I'm thin so I drink for health care. I actually make my own juice from a juice machine.
Those twins look like the Milton Twins......
If you know, you know.
I thought the point of a cleanse was for the spices mixed into it... things like turmeric and ginger to reduce inflammation. I mean, I always saw it as a "reset" before making healthy lifestyle changes (I hate the term diet). I believe intermittent fasting paired with juices is a good alternative, especially for those whose daily caloric intake is too high. It has its benefits for sure, but the term detox may not be as accurate as I once thought. And even if it is a placebo effect, it's still an effect! If you think something is working and you are seeing results, who cares if it is a placebo (just don't go spending hundreds of dollars on it lol)
This was not helpful at all. The only juiced for 2 days. We all know day 2 of any diet is hell.. The first week is hell on earth. You are kicking a addiction. This is not what I was looking for...
The pressed juice are the fresh healthy organic ones
When you do a juice cleanse juice feast or juice fast whatever you want to call it you don't do it this way. The way the twins did the doctors are describing. You do it for a week or 2 or 3 or whatever your choice is and expect hunger feelings and expect to maybe have low energy. You should expect to be irritable sometimes but if you do it for long enough you will get the results that you are doing it for instead of thinking well this is just a fad. Most people when they try something in this case a juice fast and do it for maybe a week or a few days not long enough for any real result and then they get hungry and they go back on food they gain back what they lost and they say well, this must just not work or something. If your going to do a juice fast or keto or some other type of dietary change learn how to go about it properly. you will get the results you want but remember you don't get the results no matter how you do it if you don't stick to it long enough. I don't know if the doctors would believe it but if done for longer end properly the twins would have had better and different results.
Watch fat, sick, and nearly dead. Shows how it all really works.
I got nothing from This segment and 2 days I don't think is enough time to make lasting change
Two days??!
I hate when they have people do this that, are skinny it’s for people that is actually doing this while they are buying a juicer. This is not really realistic. If you do not have enough fat when doing juicing you can hurt your self and have fatigue. Last but not least you need more than 2 days. Come on.
Of course you're going to put your weight back on if you go back to eating what you were eating before and the amount you were eating before lol. That proves nothing. Juicing can help you permanently lose weight if you permanently use it as part of your regular diet. That means using it to replace your higher calorie meals. PLUS juicing isn't just about losing weight, it's also about taking a break from refined sugars and syrups.. how can you do that if you're using regular store bought juice to do your "juicing" lol.. that part makes no sense.. I'm trying to juice to get away from sugar and if i have any sugar at least be from natural fruits and not refined sugar. Drinking regular juice would defeat that whole purpose.
"study"
I question whether he's even a doctor who knows nutrition. Of course you're gonna feel like crap when you're DETOXING. The twin who did the legitimate cleanse felt it was working for her, yet he talks like it was a placebo effect. He should get back into the emergency room and stay off the nutrition talk which he knows nothing about.
Ridiculous. 2 days is not long enough. I’m 3 stone lighter thanks to juicing.
You shouldn't be hungry on a juice fast. You need to meet your energy needs with the juice calories.
Someone told me after 15 minutes I made my fresh fruit/vegetable juice, everything becomes sucrose/sucralose. It looks like I'm drinking only sugar. Is it true? I make juice for 2 days. I'm worried about that. Thanks!
Yup I was trying to place the faces
yea, two days is definitely not enogh time. If the "dr.'s" did this correctly, they should have told them they would be going through some effects, hunger being the first & they would have a challenge for at least the first 3 days, so... Also, there's no comparison to store bought juicde from the shelf to freshly squeezed, (I'm assuming "cold pressed") juices.
2days or 50days detox then get it back if you’re not going to switch up the life style.... plus most cleanses say 24hrs, 3days, 7days, lifestyle...
I’ve earned Drs really don’t know it all. Juice cleansing Cold pressed works fine. Def help your mental state.
at home juicer here it helps me a lot
They don’t know what the hell they are talking about !
Why would they get 2 twins that are already in shape lol
Please tell me these aren’t real doctors? A “study” with only two participants for only two days with subjective results? I knew more about scientific research in 6th grade.
they even call it a study lol
cleansed for 2 days... and it was hard? honey... wow
2 days is not enough to do anything diet wise. Waste of money.
I make my own mix of juice with bleach and grounded up tide pods. I fine the plastic from the tide body’s really help with overall daily hunger.
2 days seems like a small sample size though right?
An absurdly small sample size...and no ''Controls''....and not even fresh juices.
Reese Witherspoon / Olsen Twins 👯♀️
Wow...
The Drs, show which I watch very rarely but generally have good info...
How in world was this released?
Maybe there's more than what's being seen in video
These people definitely are not serious...
They're type of people who say they want to get healthier & thinner but aren't willing to make life style changes...
The ultimate goal of detoxing "is not" to lose weight, it's to cleanse the body ( DETOX ), weight lost is a possible indirect result...
This makes no sense they are twins but two different people with two different metabolisms and their bodies handle food differently
The worst juice study by far
Good Lord, 2 days.. not an accurate measurement.
She probably got financed 200k for this “study”.
2 days! Are you joking!!
Complete joke and nothing amazing about this experiment. I have been on an homemade juice diet for 5 months now and I have lost 3 stone.
The doctors... Should be called the amateurs! What a joke!
I expected a week atleast...2 days like wtf??? Shouldve done the experiment for a month.
This is not true u can loses about a pound a day if u do real blend juice cleans not in the juicer blend it with a super fast blender drink a lot of water, and keep your self full fooling your mind getting full with water, and keep juicing. It does change your health. I don't want to say anything mean but this information is wrong about the show. Also if u can't juice all day, then do fasting from the night before last healthy meal, then next day drink green tea for energy avoid irritability, open mind, Horse tail tea, hibiscus and lemon grass teas and other if u like and regular water as well, drink sugar free electrolites. and then the real green juice for 3 days you will see results.
OMG, what is wrong with these people 😂 the two options were ridiculous . Get a blender or juicer and do yourself. Load it up with the good stuff and it's less expensive than what you are already spending to eat shit.
One day is pointless. Creating your own juice is the way to go or just eat properly and exercise
What they did wasn’t a juice cleanse and 2 days isn’t a study. Again just confuse the public. This is ignorance with an education.
Zero conclusion here
Of course you felt bad. Your body is detoxing
It seems that on this show the doctors they think more traditionally like traditional medicine and that. Something that does work like keto or juice cleanses or other things tend to be disproven or they try to on the doctor's. Traditional medicine and the doctors that practice it will tell you how keto doesn't do this or juice cleansing doesn't do that or something else doesn't do something else when in reality if they would do the right research and stop thinking about things from the traditional medicine point of view and be open minded they would realise differently.
Between Leslie and the twins I knew it was going to be some bimbo babel. I took it more serious with the ridiculous snapchat filters on 😂😂😂😂
They don't have 2 over weight people testing this and it takes more than 2 days the reason people feel bad the first couple days is addiction to food is real!
They took healthy young people, for examples, terrible.
What a horrible experiment. They should have given them a 5 day or longer so they get beyond the fatigue stage and they can lose more weight. Juicing does work and you have to ease into solids. A 2 day cleanse is purposeless
This was unhelpful.
This seems so terribly set up for trying to be a “health” show
Don't do detoxes, just eat healty and exercise. That's the best for your body. I don't get why they didn't mention that.
Stéphanie van Leeuwen I agree with having a healthy diet and exercise, but cleanses do help a lot. They pull all those toxins out of your body. If you switch from eating fast food to eating healthy you will still have those toxins sitting in your body. It’s like a restart for your body. It paves the way to a healthier lifestyle.
The dog filter 😂
This experiment is so flawed especially when you take time and fresh made juice into account.
Well that wasnt even remotely scientific or informative at all.
Listen to these people! Stay off of all fresh fruit juices and vegetables they are very bad for you! Only eat McDonald's and Donuts and you'll live a long and healthy life!
Who doesn't love food so much.. whatever
Need a triplet that's is making her own juice!!
a juice meant for a juice cleanse, and a regular cup of apple juice are totally different things lol wtf.
