I didn’t care much for the acoustic concerts. But loved the guys usual gig. You almost felt like you were part of the band with you air guitar and head banging to some great boogie rock Thanks Francis. rip Rick & Alan 🙏

You could tell that they weren’t very close by then. Enjoyed the interview until they started singing…..that’s NOT Status Quo! Even Rick said he didn’t really enjoy the acoustic stuff.

They seem alright here. Rossis stated the only reason they did the acoustic stuff was so that Rick could keep performing... Hence they're plugged in live shows were wrapping up in 2016, obviously Rick died and Francis carried on.

Francis got matchstick men riff from Jim Hendrix song Hey Joe,,bar one chord,,,if you listen to Jim,s Hey Joe,,,the its the same as matchstick men ,,apart from one chord from the end,,he actually wrote Matchstick men to getaway from his then wife and mother-in-law in his own toilet in 1969

It wasn't actually Jimi's song though, Billy Roberts wrote the song, or at least the modern version of it, about 1962.

It seems judicious to me that ALL your interviews, with Quo, be subtitled in French. I "miss" a lot, because of that. We don't all speak English! I am French and a fan of the group, since 1977

El único batería adecuado y original ha sido John Coghlan.

I could never see the point of the acoustic set, not one song sounds better than the original. Canny management keeping the brand going.
