to this day I find the settlers 6 my favorite, the cutscenes which show you the war table and the layout of the land, t
he way you manage resources and how each settler eat clean and use other resources
its just too realistic yet simplified
....
I also loved the way you build the city walls and at each end of the wall there was a small tower near the tall one, and its actually a thing in real life
highly recommended of you love city management and immersive story telling

I had a copy of The Settler IV as a kid, and I loved the look of it
How the resources where physical things in the world that was carried around was so cool
But I remember I never figured out how to fight in the game, I had an army but never figured out how to make them do anything. 😅
So all of my games was just build the settlement as big as you could until you were invaded and died
