can you please make a list of all the standard books that will cover the syllabus for the sociology optional in mains and instead of making list,it is better to make separate 5-6 minute vedio on books that are required, humble request. great work by your team ,thank you for everything.
Basically we can say any immediate cause of any major event just like death of Austrian prince before world war first or chaura chauri incident to take back non cooperation movement . Am I right?
Sir, in previous lecture end you told to discuss next Resource mobilization theory. however, the next video starts with the emergence of sociology. pls guide where is the video of RMT. Regards
Sir, so Disha Ravi was adding the element of 'mobilisation for action' by preparing the toolkit for farmers' agitation? It seems so relatable to the current events. I have a doubt, why is Sociology (according to a small portion that I've studied) so negative about the State? Is it because Sociology came into being after the French Revolution (by overthrowing the State)?
Hey ,Sociology is not "negative about State". Its just that it tries to look into the negative elements present in the structure of State which perpetuates exploitation and inequalities .If you try to look deeply into the discipline you will find its more about constructive criticism. We as laymen only tries to look into social issues from a narrow perspective but sociology indeed goes beyond that and establishes a relation between Personal problems and public issues. Well, your observation about Disha Ravi is correct(academically) .The above given statements by me are based on my experience with sociology as my core subject from last 4 years. Thanks Regards
