Awesome content, not much info available yet on the C45 series. A little bit disappointed about C845 not having more individual leds than last year C835, though it seems the diodes itself have been improved, and its direct drive system and control.
@@Z_7205 One thing are INDIVIDUAL leds and a very different one are DIMMING ZONES. C835 each dimming zone represents 4 individual diodes, C845 each dimming zone represents 2 diodes. Both have exact number of individual leds, but dimming zones have been doubled.
Im intetrested to buy tcl mini led. But the thing is i don't know which tv has best black level. C835 or c845. We all know oled tv are best on black levels. Also those are expensive too. Tcl mini leds are cheaper compare to other brands like lg or sams e.t.c. .. I just want to know if they are same on black levels than i will go for c835. With 120hz panel which is more than enough..
@@hxosplus this is not true, it comes down to native contrast of the panel, if this hasn't been improved, all you're doing is controlling blacks better, ie less blooming, rather than increasing contrast by having more dimming zones. Having a higher peak NIT doesn't mean you have better contrast, just better brightness.
Contrast level is quite good on this TV's, brightness level is spectacular compare to oled model's, not so good they handle with banding and Upscaling. It's a great tv for the money they ask.

Does anyone know how there doing this ? Is it just hdmi splitter ? Also why did they not leave the diffuser on ? It would have shown the different dimming better
They have removed just the LCD layer and the quantum dots one. The brightness is so high, that's why they have covered the set with a special film like the one cars are using.
why not? explain (i make a living repairing tv sets on a third world country and looking for info about tech to come, trying to figure out if a change niche or continue with tv's), we currently change led strips on led tv, and local dimming ones too, mini led looks the same from a repair stand point, maybe even better because the leds are lensless, thats great for me, when oleds came out my entire career went to trash, im 34...now i have some hope.
@@hxosplusYes, but now that I own the tv for more than a month, I can assure everyone the local dimming zones algorithm doesn’t work properly, leaving visible black bars for Scope content or 4:3 movies, thus downgrading the overall perception of “contrast” within the panel. A step back in local dimming behavior from last year C835, really shameful.
Wish they would fix the horrible distorted bright color line below the black bar caused by their local dimming zones on the 75 inch c935 instead of bragging about newer stuff. 2000 local dimming zones was supposed to be good, but when it's causing a faulty picture at the top of a movie, it's really unacceptable they can release that and not fix it.
Unfortunately US TCL models are always of better quality than those sold in the rest of the world, probably because of the rude competition there. When will TCL unify its product range, god only knows.
@@samibouhadida5314 that's a real shame. I heard hisense do the same. I was all set to get the tcl but if it's not as good as another in their range I'll probably not bother. Have to wait for the reviews to come out. Cheers 👍
perfect video for information. Thanks sir

C845 выросло до 576 против 288 в TCL C835
The C845 has double dimming zones compared to C835. And the C745 has 160 dimming zones for the 65", while the C735 had none.

How many leds and zones will the 98 Inch c745 have and how does it compare with the previous 98c735

Do you have more videos testing the C845 black level and efficacy of the dimming zones algorithm?
It's using brighter LEDs than the C835 and has twice in number zones.

X945 and C945 when?
Probably next year

Hi Hxo plus, will there be a similar video like this one for the 2024 TCL TVs?
How much the focal distance in C845؟؟
Don't now. I only know that, as many as mini LEDs the panel has that closer is the LCD module.
Good TCL ❤
