- Gainesville, Georgia is a charming town located in the center of Hall County. As it's farther away from Atlanta, you're going to have less expensive housing prices while still being close to the mountains and the city.

Apartments in Gainesville now cost 1800 plus
Everything has gotten so expensive!
I live in Gainesville, I love living here, where I live is 15 min from town, 15 min from Dawsonville, 15 min from Murrayville, 15 min from Clermont, and like 20-30 min from Dahlonega. you get the point. I see mountains every time I come home from work. The North Georgia Outlets are 15 min from me.
I too love seeing the mountains in the background. Makes me smile every time!
I'm from Macon GA and let me tell you Gainesville GA is a wonderful place I've been here since 2011 the place is growing plenty of housing plenty of jobs in and around the county you have Gwinnett and Atlanta right down I-985 then got the mountains to the north the traffic gets bad around 3-6 also have a million red light I've never lived in a place with so many schools and I know this is about Gainesville but flowery branch and Oakwood are great places to be extra safe if you visit lake Lanier please
Thank you for watching!
Great video about Gainesville, now I am in the UK and I’ll be there in a year! This city is getting better.

@@FAMEFLIXYT yes I have seen a several near my house. Willow Academy has 2 and Little Steps Community PS and Heavenly Places are all within 5 mi of my house. I live in South Gainesville near Oakwood.
Fun fact: It's AJ Styles hometown. The WWE superstar
One of the best cities in Georgia I love it here
I agree!! Thank you for watching ❤️
I went to Gainesville back in 99' to visit my grandma. Nice town.
How are the schools in Gainesville? I've been following you for a while as I'm looking to relocate and GA is currently top of the list. Buford looks great for the schools, but it sounds like it's pretty hard to find a an affordable home there and then if you're lucky you get the school...Can you recommend some schools in Gainesville (elementary, middle and high) that I can do some research on to help me decide? Thank you for all the content. It has been very helpful and when I'm ready I know I'm calling your team.
This is a tough one! As a former teacher (and in Hall County/Gainesville schools), I know how misleading the “rankings and scores” can be. Cherokee Bluff Middle and High School are highly rated and newer. You would live in Flowery Branch area for those zonings. Some parts of Braselton. Johnson High School has an IB program and deeply loved by parents but their rating is lower. Hall County also has the World Language Academy which is an elementary school that is highly sought after. North Hall High School is also highly sought after. You can look at websites like Greatschools.org but the best thing to do is talk to locals, like my team, and other parents to get the real feedback rather than just a judgment based off of scores. Hope that helps!
another great video Keep it up Sarah
Thank you!!
I’m thinking about moving there and happy to see your video.

Friend of mine just bought a house in Pendergrass, GA. There seems to be massive influx of new construction houses. It is 19 minutes away from Gainsville and really close commute to Jefferson. It seems like a good place.
Thanks for watching. Pendergrass is a growing area! Definitely headed for a huge growth boom.
This is really painting an delusional and delightful picture
For auto racing, Road Atlanta is half an hour from this world renowned track! And, no NASCAR !
I'll probably be moving there, at my sister's urging. Snow is only "exciting" when it's a novelty, it's a major drag when you grow up in Michigan and have to drive in that stuff. .... House prices in some areas average half a million bucks? I have lived too long.
Yes, snow is a novelty for sure. That’s the perfect word for it. Most areas have an average price point in the $400’s and you can find some areas in the $300’s. Hi Sara
We are vacationing this July to Clarksville Ga and want to drive to Gainesville to see the area for future living. We want to ask if there are houses in the 500.00 range with property of 2 acres or more. Let me know what you think.
Maggie
Hi Maggie, yes, there are! I would love to help if you decide Gainesville is right for you! You can reach me at hello@keypointhomesgroup.com or 470-577-6472.
Question about jobs!
Grew up in Iowa, & lived n SC for 10 years. Now I'm back to the Midwest, i live in Nebraska and now i want to move back to the south! My Aunt and uncle lives in Cummings GA and been there for 20++ years but I am thinking on moving to Gainesville
I work for a big vendor company and I hope my job can transfer easy down to GA! If not is there lots of job opportunities?
Yes, the job market is very strong and there are alot of opportunities!
I grew up in cumming, Ga (not even 10 minutes away from Gainesville) there is a mall on exit 9 on Ga 400. Did that shut down?
north point mall?
@@aydenchavez7271 yeah. I have no idea why I didn't name it in my first comment. I guess I had, and I had this term, brain farts.
I might get a job offer from a company located in the region... wondering if it would be worth the shot (moving from Brazil)
Congratulations on the potential job offer! Man, that's hard to say as I've never lived in Brazil but we have had a few Brazilian clients and they have loved living in this area. We would love to welcome you to Georgia!
Would Gainesville classify as suburban of rural? Where is a good mix? We want to be somewhere where we have half acre or so but not in the bush.
Definitely a good mixture! You may also want to consider the Braselton area too.
Lived there in the 80s
Hey Sarah. Where in GA I can buy a nice piece of land for $25,000. Rural is ok!!
