@@RVUntethered absolutely! You were not too far from the granddaddy of all bike trails the Elroy-Sparta which we have ridden many times. We are in Allison Iowa right now where we rode the Rolling Prairie Trail. Awesome campground only $26 night for full hookups! They even have a Pickleball court here (my newest addiction)! Heading out today for Des Moines to ride the trails in that area until next week and then back to Kenosha. Stay safe out there guys!
You guys mentioned that some viewers had said Cody resembles people from TV and big screen. I’ve been hesitant to mention it but since you did… from the first time I started watching you guys I’ve felt Cody looks like one of my favorite childhood Cowboy heroes, Guy Madison as Wild Bill Hickok.
There needs to be a love button instead of just a like button. Love your videos. I went ice fishing when we lived in Alaska. We did catch a few, but it was so cold. 🤣
I bet! I think it would be a neat experience. I would probably go to witness it for a short time. I don’t know that I could sleep, knowing that the ground could open up and swallow me! 🤣🤣
Thanks for the info. Just purchased a Grand Design Solitude. Can't wait to get out. 1st 5th wheel, had a class A for 20 years. Hope to meet up at a rally sometime.
On your way back southward, you should visit Pikes Peak State Park in McGregor, IA. There's a campground, hiking trails and a stunning overlook of the Mississippi River at the confluence of the Wisconsin River. Happy RVing!
We lived for years in La Crosse, WI. We loved it there, but we left to be closer to our younger son who was stationed in the Navy in San Diego. We still go back there.
Happy Anniversary! I can’t remember the last gift I’ve given to my bride of 48 years. Pretty much living in an RV restricts what we can have. When we shop, she may hint at something and then she buys it! Oh well! Congratulations on 21!
Box elder bugs, but in Michigan we get stink bugs by the 100+ in our camper and add half of the Japanese beetles (lady bug look). We leave MI in late October and for the next 5 plus months we kill them 2-25 a day. Sprays don’t seem to matter to them.
We stayed at Lake Louise RV Resort in Byron, IL, but we felt it was a bit expensive for what it was. We stayed there, so we could meet up with people that we hadn’t seen in several years. You may look at the campgrounds at the state parks, Starved Rock and Matthiessen, in Oglesby, IL. Also, Southern IL is beautiful!
I installed Dexter self adjusting brakes three months ago on my toy hauler and they had the manual star adjustment wheel I manually adjusted them when I installed them I have been traveling since with no brake issues.
Money! Haha! It would be a nice option. Independent suspension would be pretty nice too. I just hate to put too much money in to it, at once. When/if we upgrade rigs, it is something I have contemplated.
We watch you two all the time. Great couple! We are currently at starved rock. Camping at pleasant creek campground. Sorry we missed you two. Would have liked to meet you two in person. Bob & Terry Never Too Old
Oh no! I’m not a huge fan of cold, but early Spring is really cool. Assuming you have good mobility (you do have to watch for ice patches), it’s stunning! The frozen waterfalls are amazing!
Oh good! It was new for me, so I was hoping that it would help someone else out. I could tell a difference pretty quickly. They went from spongy, to a jerked stop. It was making me nervous. Thanks for watching!
I was actually stationed and worked in lacrosse in the Army for a while and my son lives there currently enjoy the cheese. My wife and I have a trip plan to hit the Wisconsin Dells in July this year.
We had to re-subscribe today, you tube is playing games, I’m sure money has something to do with it. Saw another smaller channel they demonetized with no warning and kept the donations, just wrong! Hope to run into you guys on the road sometime.
It’s really frustrating to be honest. Our views have grown consistently until this month and they are taking a nosedive worse than we’ve seen. And we’re seeing a lot of people reporting the subscriber issue. We just have to hold the line. Thank you for watching! 😉
Maybe there is more to it,but if not it’s really sad they would do that to someone, guess it is today’s world. You guys have safe travels and we will be following along with you.
So, i noticed that right after you two went north, the weather went south. So many tornados these past couple of weeks. So, was heading north a strategic move? Also, fun fact. The U.S. experiences 99 % of the worlds total amount of tornados.
Oh nice! We were raised on the Western side of Arkansas (near Fort Smith). But we have spent a lot of time near Hot Springs, which is a bit closer to you.
Charlie is retired! Ha! He does what he wants. We did get a dog carrier for him, but we haven’t used it in a while. He enjoys walking, but his body just doesn’t allow much any more. We don’t venture too far with him anymore.
I cant believe you haven't got more subscribers ..... go figure as i like watching your Chanel and i cant see that backing up adjuster being senseable as you back up say 50 times and your locked up ? Or am i missing something ?
I was surprised that they didn't have a manual option to adjust them, because that was what I was looking for originally. It IS odd, but it worked! You back up and sort of cram on the trailer brakes. That's the difference, I suppose. It was spongy, but each time it tightened. We probably ended up doing 5 or 6 times, over the course of that day and during travel day. By the last time, it would jerk the truck, so it made me feel a LOT better!

Safe travels and good health.

What you did right on the bike was unfold it! Makes the repair much easier. Welcome to Wisconsin! Been to LaCrosse many times! Love it as well!
Agreed! I bet you have tried some of those bike trails out, then?

I installed Dexter self adjusting brakes three months ago on my toy hauler and they had the manual star adjustment wheel I manually adjusted them when I installed them I have been traveling since with no brake issues.
I thought it was odd that mine didn't have the manual adjust option on them. I admit that I was panicking a little at first.
Good video 😊 why don't you upgrade to disc brakes 🤔 safe travels
Money! Haha!
It would be a nice option. Independent suspension would be pretty nice too. I just hate to put too much money in to it, at once.
When/if we upgrade rigs, it is something I have contemplated.
I had Automatic brakes on my semi trailer and sometimes I had to back up to Adjust them so it's the same way on camp trailer
Yes, thank you! I was surprised that it didn’t have a manual adjustment option on them.
Cody, those black and red bugs are Box Elder bugs... they love the sunny side of anything on a cool morning!!
Oh thank you! We are still finding eggs all over the rig!

We went to Starved Rock in July, the waterfalls were dry!!! Fun, short walk though.

Hahaha! Thanks!
I've had the backup work and not work. Glad you got them working properly!
Oh man! Really? I was surprised that it didn't have a manual option for adjustment. I'm pretty relieved!
Thx for the hint on the brakes. I noticed same issue on our GD Reflection after getting the wheels, brakes and bearings some TLC.

That’s how they adjust. Vehicles with drum brakes self adjust the same way.
I was looking for an option to manually adjust them and was surprised that it didn't have it.
